Abstract

Sulap Hill and Watervang Dam are located in the central of the city of Lubuklinggau, South Sumatra Province, which has a variety of organisms, including amphibians. This study aimed to determine the diversity of amphibian species in the area of  Sulap Hill and Watervang Dam Lubuklinggau City. This research was conducted from June to August 2018. Data collection was an exploration method-combined visual encounter survey (VES). The samples obtained were identified at the Biology Education Laboratory, STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Data analysis included species composition, diversity index, and Evenness index, and conservation status. The results of the study found 5 families, consist of 11 species: Duttaphyrnus melanotictus, Ingerophrynus divergens, Phrynoidis asper, Fejervarya cancrivora, Fejervarya limnocharis, Limnonectes kuhlii, Limnonectes macrodon, Limnonectes paramacrodon, Polypedates leucomystax, Hylarana erythraea, Ichthyophis sumatranus. The results of the data analysis showed that the amphibian diversity index in the Sulap hill (1.55) and Watervang dam (1.84) was categorized as low. The Evenness index in Sulap Hill (0.86) and Watervang Dam (0.88) was categorized as a high uniformity and stable community. Based on data from the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) Red List, 8 species have the status of Least Concern, 1 species with Vulnerable status, 1 species with Near-threatened status and 1 species with data deficient status.

Abstract

  Fish diversity in the Lakitan River is not well recorded, even though the data is important to add information about the diversity of freshwater fish in Indonesia. This study aims to study fish composition and ecological index in the Lakitan River. The study was conducted in the Lakitan River, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. The method used was the survey method. The direct sampling was done at 5 stations, the numbering of stations followed the direction of the river from upstream to downstream. The data at each station are tabulated based on species, family and order. Data analysis in-cludes a diversity index, evenness index, dominance index, and sim-ilarity index. The fish caught during the study were 418 individuals, which were identified into 20 species and 11 families. Barbonymus gonionotus is the most captured species in the Lakitan River. Cypri-nidae is the most captured family (9 species). The highest diversity index was found at station 5, with the number of fish collected was 16 species. The evenness index at 5 stations showed the equivalent species distribution and stable communities. The domination index at 5 stations were at, low category. The similarity index between sta-tions in Lakitan River which ranging from 0.65 – 0.97. These results indicate that fish diversity in the Lakitan River medium biodiversity.

Abstract

Walang sangit (Leptocorisa acuta L.) as a rice bug is a pest that can cause a decrease in rice production (Oryza sativa L.). Excessive use of chemical pesticides will cause resistance or immunity to the pest itself. Gadung (Dioscorea hispida L.) has a compound HCN (cyanide acid) that potentially cause metabolic disturbance in insects. This study aims to determine the extract of gadung tuber effect as bioinsecticide of rice bug against rice. This research was conducted in Biology Laboratory of STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau South Sumatera Province, with 5 treatment groups and 5 replications. The research design used was complete randomized design (RAL) with P0 control (-) without giving of starch bulb, P1 20 gr / l, P2 40 gr / l, P3 60 gr / l, P4 80 gr / l. Based on the results of analysis with Anava One Path test obtained results Fcount = 7.72 with Ftable = 4.43. It shows there is a significant influence of the extract of gadung tuber as bioinsecticide of rice bug against rice plant.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of freshwater fish in Kelingi River Lubuklinggau City. The research was conducted on 6 stations, the determination of the location of the research was done by purposive sampling method. Samples of fish obtained from the catch by using scatter and scoop-net and then identified in the Education Laboratory of Biology STKIP PGRI Lubukinggau. Data analysis includes species composition (KJ), diversity index (H ') and uniformity index (E). The results of identification there are 13 species belonged to 5 Order, 6 Family, and 13 genra. Barbonymus gonionotus has the largest type of composition (69.53%). Diversity index (H ' ) ranged from 0.33 to 1.22 and the uniformity index (E) ranged from 0.24 to 0.84. Conclusions the diversity index of Kelingi river in this study was low and fish communities at stations 1,3 and 6 under stable conditions and at station 2,4,5 under distress conditions

Abstract

Lubuklinggau has many natural location that supports life of amphibians. Temam and Sando waterfall area were part of them. This study aims to determine diversity amphibian in the Temam and Sando Waterfall, Lubuklinggau City. The study was conducted from June to July 2020. The collection data used Visual Encounter Survey (VES) techniques and time search. he data were analyzed using relative abundance, and indexes of diversity, evenness, similarity, and dominance. 11 species of amphibians belonging to 5 families were found during the study. Odorrana hosii was found mostly during the study. Amphibian diversity in the waterfall of Lubuklinggau City was categorized as low.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential and conservation status of fish in Lakitan Dam Musi Rawas Regency. This research was conducted in February until April 2018. The location of the research was determined by using purposive sampling technique. The samples were collected by using scatter nets and the subsequent identification was done in the Biology Laboratory of STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Conservation status data is determined by IUCN Redlist while fish potential data is obtained from interview with the surrounding community. A total of 17 fish species were found during the study, divided into categories not evaluated 8 species (47%), 8 species (47%) least concern and 1 species (6%) data deficient. While the potential of fish as fish consumption as many as 12 species (62%), 3 species (23%) ornamental fish as well as fish consumption and ornamental fish as many as 2 species (15%). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jus larva undur-undur (Myrmeleon sp) terhadap kadar trigliserida dalam darah mencit (Mus musculus) Swiss Webster jantan.Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak lengkap. Pengukuran kadar trigliserida darah dilakukan sebanyak dua kali sesudah perlakuan dan setelah masa pemulihan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan anova satu faktor. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan jumlah rata-rata kadar trigliserida dalam darah mencit yang diberi Jus larva Myrmeleon sp : (P0) kontrol: 113,80 mg/dL, (P1) 89,40 mg/dL, (P2): 72,80 mg/dL, (P3): 60,00 mg/dL. Data hasil penelitian setelah masa pemulihan didapatkan jumlah rata-rata kadar trigliserida dalam darah mencit (P0) kontrol ; 107,00 mg/dL, kelompok perlakuan 1 (P1) ; 96,40 mg/dL, kelompok perlakuan 2 (P2) ; 85,80 mg/dL, kelompok perlakuan 3 (P3) ; 83,40 mg/dL. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian Jus larva Myrmeleon sp kepada mencit menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata menurunkan kadar trigliserida dalam darah mencit dan setelah masa pemulihankadar trigliserida darah mencit tidak kembali normal tetapi menunjukkan kenaikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jus larvaMyrmeleon sp terhadap penurunan kadar Glukosa dalam darah Mus musculus Swiss Webster jantan. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan anova satu faktor. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui jumlah rata-rata kadar gula dalam darah mencit yang diberi jus larvaMyrmeleon sp : (P0) kontrol ; 98,6, (P1) Perlakuan diberi jus larvaMyrmeleon spdengan dosis 0,0013 ml ; 80,4 mg/dL, (P2) Perlakuan diberi jus larvaMyrmeleon sp dengan dosis 0,0026 ml ; 77,8 mg/dL, (P3) Perlakuan diberi jus larvaMyrmeleon sp dengan dosis 0,0039 ml; 76,4 mg/dL. Sedangkan data hasil penelitian setelah masa pemulihan didapatkan jumlah rata-rata kadar gula dalam darah mencit (P0) kontrol ; 108,4 mg/dl, Kelompok perlakuan 1 (P1) ; 99,8 mg/dL, kelompok perlakuan 2 (P2) ; 101,2 mg/dL, kelompok perlakuan 3 (P3) ; 118,2 mg/dL. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian jus larvaMyrmeleon sp pada Musmusculus menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata pada kadar gula dalam darah Musmusculus dan setelah masa pemulihan kadar gula darah Musmusculus kembali normal.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder yang ada dalam ekstrak J.multifida L. serta pengaruhnya terhadap jumlah Leukosit mencit (M. musculus) jantan yang telah diinduksi Imunos. Pada pengujian senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terkandung pada ekstrak kasar etanol batang J. multifida L. adalah alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin dan tanin. Pada uji pengaruh ekstrak etanol batang Jatropha multifidaL., hewan coba yang digunakan adalah 30 ekor Mus musculus jantan Swiss Webster yang dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok I sebagai kelompok kontrol, kelompok II diinduksi imunos, kelompok III diinduksi imunos dan Prednikson, kelompok IV diinduksi imunos dan diberikan ekstrak dengan dosis 0,028 g/Kgbb, Kelompok V diinduksi Imunos dan diberikan ekstrak dengan dosis 0,056 g/Kgbb dan Kelompok VI diinduksi Imunos dan diberikan ekstrak dengan dosis 0,084 g/Kgbb. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak etanol dari batang Jatropha multifidaL. mampu menurunkan jumlah leukosit Mus musculus jantan yang telah diinduksi Imunos dengan optimum pada dosis 0,028 g/Kgbb sebesar 10.230/ mm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jus umbi bawang putih terhadap gerak reflek dan gerak motorik mencit jantan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Mencit berjumlah 25 ekor dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok perlakukan. Kelompok P0: kontrol, kelompok P1: dosis jus umbi bawang putih 1.13 ml/kgbb, kelompok P2: dosis jus umbi bawang putih 2.26 ml/kgbb, kelompok P3: dosis jus umbi bawang putih 3.39 ml/kgbb dan kelompok P4: viagra 50mg/kg. Paramater yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah gerak geotaksis negatif, menghindari jurang, lokomosi berlari, berenang dan menggelantung. Pengamatan parameter dilakukan satu jam setelah perlakuan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan anova satu faktor. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui jus umbi bawang putih tidak mempengaruhi gerak geotaksis negatif, menghindari jurang, dan lokomosi berlari. Kemudian, jus umbi bawang putih mempengaruhi lokomosi berenang dan menggelantung.
