Abstract

Arabic Language is characterized by a great deal of influence that has made a profound impact on the rest of the world's languages, whether socially, culturally, religiously or economically. This language is specific to the Holy Quran, which has a higher constitution that Muslim takes from the laws of religion. Islam does not solve a place except it takes with language of its Arabic provisions. This article sheds light on some of the words borrowed by Yorba from Arabic in its various forms, of which there is no change in the image of pronunciation and what has undergone some change and distortion. The approach envisaged in this article is inductive, thus contributing in one way or another to supporting some scientific and historical facts in this area of borrowing. The results of this article is that language of the world is estimated relative to the world's speakers by 6.6% and the largest languages that borrow some others words in the corridors of life. Yorba, the language of southern Nigeria, and one of the three most famous tribal languages (Hausa, Yorba, Ibo) and which also has many of the speakers borrows many from Arabic.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate Arab neologism in the field of technology in the al-Akhbar newspaper. Al-Akhbar newspaper is considered representative if it is used as a material object in research relating to the neology of the word technology. The perspective used in this study was morphological studies. The neologism theory is divided into five types and fifteen rules, including 1) phonetic neologism, which consists of: a) ibdal; b) al-qalbu al-makani; c) al-tamasul; d) al-tabayun; e) al-idqham. 2) morphological neology, which consists of: a) al-isytiqaq; b) al-naht; c) al-tarkib; d) al-mu‘jamah. 3) neologically semantic, which consists of: a) majaz; b) literal speech. 4) neological spontaneity, which consists of: a) al-irtijal haqiqi; b) al-irtijal al-itba‘. 5) borrowing neology, which consists of: a) dakhil; b) mu‘arrab. The results obtained from this study are that the al-Akhbar newspaper uses many patterns: 1) morphological neology, namely isytiqaq, at-tarkib. 2) semantic neology, namely majaz, literally tarjamah. 3) loan neology, namely ad-dakhil and mu’arrab.

Abstract

This study was started with disclosure of issues faced by Indonesian students in Khartoum International Institute of Arabic Language. The main objective of this research revealed the ta’bir problem afflicting Indonesian students in learning classical Arabic, identifying the causes and knowing the impact of these problems in educational situations. To achieve the objective of this study, the method used by the researcher is descriptive analytical method. The results of this research are:  1) The ways which Indonesian students learned Arabic language in their institution have become instruments in improving Arabic language, 2) The impacts of the Indonesian dialects made difficulties for students in forming the Arabic dialect, 3) Environment in which treated the students outside the University affecting their ability in speaking classical Arabic, and 4) Weakness in disclosure affected students’ academic achievement. Then the researcher suggested solutions to solve those problems such as: 1) To help the students to develop their process in traditional Arabic, it is needed to the students to take the benefits from any means, as teacher teaches them by reading newspaper, magazine and scientific journal which gave them increase the outcome of their linguistics ability, 2) The commitment from the lectures of all subjects to speak in well-structured Arabic and avoid using slank is needed.

Abstract

Lexical is study of vocabulary and its meanings in one language or in a number of languages. Vocabulary is concerned mainly with derivation of words, structures, moral, syntactic connotations, idiomatic expressions, synonyms, and multiplicity of meanings. This research aimed to describe the lexical phenomenon in linguistic theories. The methodology used in this research was qualitative research method with the type of library research. The results of the research were the lexical theory is carried out in a number of procedures necessary to accomplish the lexicon of the language, acoustically, and not neglected widely.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the values of educational character in the Arabic temples of Qasidah Burdah by Imam Bushiri. The method used in this research was the descriptive analytical approach, which relies on the study of reality and phenomenon as it exists in reality and was concerned as an accurate description and expressed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the research were that the poem of Bosiri filled with rich educational behavioral values because many people read this poem and do not know its content and meaning in detail. Behavioral educational values in the poem of Bosiri are divided into four elements: 1) Behavioral educational values divinity, 2) personality, 3) social, 4) and moral. The verses concerning the behavioral educational values in this poem eighty-two beta.

Abstract

One of main component for every language is verb. In Arabic, qāla (قال) is one of verbs which substantively is used in many oral and written language due to its wide meaning. This research focuses on meaning variation of qāla (قال) when it was translated into Indonesian. In this study, differential meaning can be caused by differential speaker and also differential context. Thereby, the research aims to classify and explain every single meaning of qāla (قال) verb. This descriptive qualitative research uses observation method with tapping technique. Meanwhile, the data was analyzed by translational method, referential method, and pragmatics method. The result of the research shows that; (1) There are three differential meanings of qāla (قال) according to speaker perspective, as well as ‘berfirman’, ‘bersabda’, and ‘berkata’. (2) There are some differential meanings of qāla (قال) according to linguistics perspective, such as ‘berkata, mengatakan, mengabarkan, mengumumkan, berbicara, mengucapkan, mengaku, pendapat, bertanya, menjawab, perintah, and berdoa.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to determine the perception of students of Arabic Language Department towards the use of social media in teaching Arabic language and determine social media often used by students to help in the process of teaching Arabic language. This study used social anthropology approach in qualitative research because this study focusses on student’s perceptions towads mobile as their assistant for learning Arabic. The subject of study are 32 Arabic language education students at the State Islamic University Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The results of the study show that social media can be used as a tool for language learning Arabic, can improve students' skills, and help them better interact with lecturers and classmates.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of TGT type in the interest of learning Arabic language in VII grade students at MTs. Negeri Banggai Kepulauan, Central Sulawesi. The approach used in this study was a quantitative using a correlational research design. The data collecting technique was observation and questionnaires. Data was analyzed using the correlation product moment formula with the help of SPSS version 16. The results of this study indicate that there was a significant influence on the cooperative learning model of TGT type in the interest learning Arabic language in MTs. Negeri Banggai Kepulauan, Central Sulawesi. It was proven by the score of rcount 0,771 while rtable 0,404. It meant that the score of rcount was greater than the score of rtable with a significant level of 5%. Based on the decision making criteria and testing, the cooperative learning model of TGT type in the interest learning Arabic language in VII grade students was categorized into strong category of influence.
