Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of TGT type in the interest of learning Arabic language in VII grade students at MTs. Negeri Banggai Kepulauan, Central Sulawesi. The approach used in this study was a quantitative using a correlational research design. The data collecting technique was observation and questionnaires. Data was analyzed using the correlation product moment formula with the help of SPSS version 16. The results of this study indicate that there was a significant influence on the cooperative learning model of TGT type in the interest learning Arabic language in MTs. Negeri Banggai Kepulauan, Central Sulawesi. It was proven by the score of rcount 0,771 while rtable 0,404. It meant that the score of rcount was greater than the score of rtable with a significant level of 5%. Based on the decision making criteria and testing, the cooperative learning model of TGT type in the interest learning Arabic language in VII grade students was categorized into strong category of influence.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the values of educational character in the Arabic temples of Qasidah Burdah by Imam Bushiri. The method used in this research was the descriptive analytical approach, which relies on the study of reality and phenomenon as it exists in reality and was concerned as an accurate description and expressed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the research were that the poem of Bosiri filled with rich educational behavioral values because many people read this poem and do not know its content and meaning in detail. Behavioral educational values in the poem of Bosiri are divided into four elements: 1) Behavioral educational values divinity, 2) personality, 3) social, 4) and moral. The verses concerning the behavioral educational values in this poem eighty-two beta.

Abstract

Translation is not only a process of language transfer, but also a transfer of culture from the source language to the target language. For this reason, translators must have broad and rich insights. The process to enrich cultural insights, knowledge, and treasures in the translation process can be formed through Jigsaw learning model because it is student-centered learning and requires them to independently seek and share knowledge. This study aimed to improve the ethos of students learning in Arabic translation subject and to improve students? Arabic translation quality. This classroom action research was conducted two cycles (repeated seven times). Each cycle referred to Spiral Model by Kemmis, McTaggart, and Nixon. The subjects were 52 students of C Class and D Class in Terjemah Arab-Indonesia Course at Arabic Language and Literature Department of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The data of students? learning ethos were obtained from performance grading rubric in Jigsaw learning and the data of Arabic translation quality were obtained from students worksheet assesment and end-of-cycle Arabic translation test. The results showed that Jigsaw improved (1) the ethos, the activeness, and the independence of students in seeking and sharing knowledge through Jigsaw and (2) the quality of Arabic-Indonesia translation. This model was effectively used for this course because students can translate longer texts with relatively short time.

Abstract

Learning Arabic at the university level for non-language majors was still a problem, and it was still being developed. This research aimed to see how well the Little Circle Arabic Learning (LCAL) learning model worked in practice. Students majoring in Islamic Religious Education who are learning the native language at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang's Arabic Language Development Program (PPBA) were the subject of this study, which used a quantitative approach. The method of data collection were questionnaires and tests. While the data analysis used is descriptive quantitative to process the results of the questionnaire. The sample t-test is related to processing the test results. Based on the t-test results, this research indicates that the Little Circle Arabic Learning (LCAL) model effectively taught Arabic at the university level. There was also an increase in competence in students in terms of kalam, vocabulary, and translation. This LCAL learning model can also improve the ability to interact with teams in groups and the student's self-confidence. These components support students being able to speak Arabic.

Abstract

The development of practical Arabic syntax based on mE-Book teaching materials is regarding printed materials that are less effectively applied in online learning. This research and development (RD) aimed at developing practical Arabic syntax teaching materials based on mE-Book for more effective learning without limited space and time using the ADDIE design model. It was carried out through 5 stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation phase was carried out using a blended learning model. The research results were: 1) the teaching material format is HTML (based flash) published using kvisoft flipbook maker pro 4.2.2.0 software. 2) the teaching material consists of an outside and inside covers, a sample material, a task/question, i'rab, qawaid, a bibliography, and a back cover. 3) the learning video was in the form of a webcam with the help of PowerPoint software and an O-Matic screencast. The results of the assessment were as follow: from material experts was 82% (eligible), from language expert was 100% (very decent), from media expert was 96% (very decent), from students' interest test was 90% (very feasible), from educator response test was 84% (very feasible). The effectiveness test of the large group obtained an average posttest score of 85 and average pretest score of 75. The overall results show that mE-Book practical Arabic syntax is feasible at SMA Surya Buana Malang.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat dan kemampuan guru bahasa Arab dalam menulis. Kegiatan ini berupa kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan menulis bookchapter berbasis pengalaman mengajar selama masa Covid-19 terkait implementasi model, media, evaluasi, dan perencanaan pembelajaran online. Jumlah peserta 75 orang pengajar bahasa Arab. Materi dalam pelatihan ini adalah (1) Peluang Menulis dan Menerbitkan Buku bagi Guru Bahasa Arab di Era Industri, (2) Menyusun Perencanaan Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Online, (3) Integrasi Pikiran dalam Pengembangan Paragraf, (4) Pemanfaatan Iot dan Big Data dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Online, dan (5) Implementasi Model Kreatif Produktif dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Online. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah andragogi dengan metode presentasi, eksplanasi, modelling, praktek, diskusi, dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah: (1) kegiatan pelatihan menulis yang menghasilkan luaran berupa berita pelaksanaan kegiatan pada media massa Kompasiana dan (2) kegiatan pendampingan menulis yang menghasilkan luaran berupa bookchapter ber-ISBN tentang implementasi model, media, evaluasi, dan perencanaan pembelajaran bahasa Arab online.

Abstract

This study was to determine the effectiveness of the kinemaster-based animated video to improve the vocabulary mastery of Arabic for eighth grade students at MTs. Nurul Huda Ketambul, Tuban, East Java.. This research used an associative quantitative approach. The population in this study was class VIII MTs Nurul Huda Ketambul, Tuban, which consisted of one class. The sample of this research was class VIII with a total of 21 students, and this study used a quota sample that only used one class in the study. While the research data collection was a test (pre test and post test) and a questionnaire. Analysis of the data used in this study aimed to determine the significant results of the instruments used. The results of the research on the effectiveness of the kinemaster-based animation video to improve the vocabulary mastery of Arabic for eighth grade students of MTs Nurul Huda Ketambul, Tuban, were effective in improving students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary, even though it was included in the medium category 56.60%. The categorization is based on Archambault's normalized Gain criteria table. This shows a significant value for the kinemaster-based animated video to improve students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary which proved to be quite effective.
