Abstract

In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, technology has developed very rapidly. This is felt by every element of society, from parents, adults to children. A positive impact will be felt if its use is in accordance with needs. But, it is different from children who play gadgets based on fun or just play games all the time. It will have an impact on the growth of children and their social and social life which will be hampered. The purpose of this study is to find out how Pokemon GO can increase children's motivation in outdoor education activities in physical education programs. The experiment was conducted in one treatment for 50 elementary school students. They are grade 3 elementary school students from one of the schools in West Java-Indonesia. All respondents were given permission by their parents and school teachers to take part in this study. The results obtained, 86% of students liked and motivated to do outdoor activities using Pokemon GO and 14% did not like for various reasons, including: (1) 2 students felt tired to do physical activities, (2) 5 students did not allowed to play games on smartphones so they don't like to play games. AbstrakDi era revolusi industri 4.0, teknologi telah berkembang sangat pesat. Hal ini dirasakan oleh setiap elemen masyarakat, baik dari orang tua, dewasa hingga anak-anak. Dampak positif akan terasa jika penggunaannya sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Tapi, berbeda dengan anak-anak yang bermain gadget berdasarkan kesenangan atau hanya bermain game setiap saat. Hal itu akan berdampak pada pertumbuhan anak-anak dan kehidupan sosial-sosial mereka yang akan terhambat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pokemon GO dapat meningkatkan motivasi anak-anak pada aktivitas outdoor education pada program pendidikan jasmani. Percobaan dilakukan dalam satu perlakuan untuk 50 siswa sekolah dasar. Mereka adalah siswa sekolah dasar kelas 3 dari salah satu sekolah di Jawa Barat-Indonesia. Semua responden telah diberikan izin oleh orang tua dan guru sekolah mereka untuk mengambil bagian dalam penelitian ini. Hasil yang diperoleh, 86% siswa menyukai dan termotivasi untuk melakukan kegiatan di luar ruangan dengan menggunakan Pokemon GO dan 14% tidak seperti karena berbagai alasan, di antaranya: (1) 2 siswa merasa lelah untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik, (2) 5 siswa tidak diizinkan untuk bermain game di smartphone sehingga mereka tidak suka bermain game.

Abstract

This study aims to find out if the TGT (Team Games Tournament) cooperative model through volley ball like Games can improve your volleyball mini play skills. Research using class action research method, with participants is VB class student SDN 178 Gegerkalong KPAD Bandung City, which amounted to 30 students (16 male; 13 female). The research Data is taken using the Games Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI) assessment format. The results showed an increase in the average pre-test that the student received was 69, and on the average final cycle of the student's value of 78. Thus, the results can be concluded that the implementation of TGT type cooperative model through volley-like games can improve the playing skills of Minivolleyball in grade V students at SDN Gegerkalong KPAD in Bandung. AbstrakStudi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) melalui volley ball like games dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bermain mini voli. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan partisipan adalah siswa kelas VB SDN 178 Gegerkalong KPAD Kota Bandung, Yang berjumlah 30 siswa (16 laki-laki; 13 perempuan). Data penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan format penilaian Games Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan, rata-rata nilai pada pre-test yang diperoleh siswa sebesar 69, dan pada siklus akhir rata-rata nilai siswa sebesar 78. Dengan begitu dari hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif tipe TGT melalui volley-like games dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bermain minivoli pada siswa kelas V SDN Gegerkalong KPAD Kota Bandung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the game-format of movement education model on students' kasti playing skills that built up by locomotor and manipulative skill improvement. The method to be employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR), with two cycles and each of which consist of two lessons. Participants of this study were children of grade IV of SDN 044 Cicadas Awigombong, Bandung City, totalling of 34 (17 males and 17 females) children. The instrument was GPAI (Games Performance Assessment Instrument). The results are the average scores obtained by students. Based on the data, it can be concluded that children’s understanding on playing of the games was improving, and the students has been proven able to play the game well enough. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerapan model pendidikan gerak berbasis permainan terhadap keterampilan bermain kasti siswa SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus, yang terdiri dari masing-masing 2 pertemuan. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN 044 Cicadas Awigombong, Kota Bandung, dengan sampel kelas IV yang berjumlah 34 (17 laki-laki dan 17 perempuan). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah GPAI (Games Performance Asessment Instrument.) Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman keterampilan bermain kasti siswa kelas IV SDN 044 Cicadas Awigombong meningkat, dan siswa dapat melakukan keterampilan bermain kasti dengan baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this  research is to investigate how role playing method can improve student understanding in volleyball games activities. This research use class action research. The research used  in two cycle, every cycle have research action that done twice. The subject of this research is 30 students of level 5 class from one elementary school in Bandung. (12 boys, 18 girls). Role playing models combine with  GPAI instrument. Data is analyzed using percentage technic and  associated with games performance. This research showed that role playing models can improve student understanding in volleyball games. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model role playing dapat  meningkatkan  pemahaman bermain siswa  dalam  bermain bolavoli.  Penelitian  ini  menggunakan  penelitian   tindakan   kelas.  Penelitian  dilakukan  dalam  dua  siklus,  setiap  siklus  dilaksanakan   sebanyak   dua kali tindakan penelitian. Subjek  penelitian  adalah  kelas  V  disalah  satu   sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung sebanyak 30 siswa (laki-laki: 12; perempuan:  18).  Model role playing dikombinasikan dengan instrument Game Performance Analisis Instrumen. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentase dan dikaitkan dengan keterampilan bermain. Hasil penelitian menunjukan model pembelajaran role playing dapat meningkatkan pemahaman bermain bolavoli.

Abstract

Learning Conditions Physical education in elementary schools which are still oriented towards mastering technical skills, makes students limited to explore, so that students' interest in Physical Education learning decreases. The purpose of this study is to improve playing skills and physical activity enjoyment (PAE) through tactical approaches in learning handball games. The method used is classroom action research (CAR), using the GPAI (Games Performance Assessment Instrument) instrument and the Enjoyment scale (questionnaire). This research was conducted at a school in the city of Bandung. The results of this study can be concluded that through the tactical approach, playing skills and physical activity enjoyment in learning handball games can be improved. AbstrakKondisi Pembelajaran Pendidikan jasmani di sekolah dasar yang masih berorientasi pada penguasaan keterampilan teknis, membuat siswa terbatasi untuk  bereksplorasi, sehingga minat siswa dalam pembelajaran Penjas menurun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bermain dan physical activity enjoyment (PAE) melalui pendekatan taktis dalam pembelajaran permainan bola tangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dengan menggunakan instrumen GPAI (Games Performance Assesment Instrument) dan skala Enjoyment (kuisioner).  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu sekolah di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pendekatan taktis, keterampilan bermain dan physical activity enjoyment pada pembelajaran permainan bola tangan dapat meningkat.

Abstract

The deviation of social behavior of elementary school students lately is very alarming, it requires preventive and curative efforts in handling it.The focus of this study would like to see the contribution of outdoor education activities to students' self concept in the primary school of the UPI Campus Tasikmalaya Campus, Indonesia. 32 students were selected as samples through purposive sampling technique. The experimental method was used in this study. Data obtained through self concept scale questionnaire. The results of the study mentioned Outdoor Education activities contributed to the development of self concept. This finding can be used as an alternative by physical education teachers in the context of innovation and learning variation. Further research can be carried out on the development of other affective aspects such as assertive behavior. Abstrak Penyimpangan perilaku sosial siswa sekolah dasar akhir-akhir ini sangat memprihatinkan, diperlukan upaya preventif dan kuratif dalam menanganinya. Fokus penelitian ini ingin melihat kontribusi aktivitas outdoor education terhadap self concept siswa di sekolah dasar laboratorium percontohan UPI Kampus Tasikmalaya, Indonesia. Sebanyak 32 siswa dipilih menjadi sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Metode eksperimen digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner skala self concept. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan aktivitas Outdoor Education memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan self concept. Temuan ini dapat dijadikan alternatif oleh para guru pendidikan jasmani dalam rangka inovasi dan variasi pembelajaran. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan terhadap pengembangan aspek afektif lainnya seperti perilaku assertif.

Abstract

The education system in the Philippines has changed because it refers to the United Nations program, the Sustainable Development Goals. One of the changes is that each student is required to attend the Daily Physical Activity program before starting learning. This research is conducted at Malacampa Elementary School-Main, Tarlac City, Philippines. The purpose of this study is to determine what impacts occur after the implementation of the Daily Physical Activity which is carried out every morning in the long run. Daily Physical Activity is done by dancing 10 to 15 minutes. This type of research is an ex-post-facto study in which the researcher examines a program that is happening in the Philippines. Researchers take samples of one class, named class 6 SSES, amounting to 27 students. Based on the results of this study, there are positive impacts in the form of children being more enthusiastic in doing daily tasks and negative in the form of students feeling bored with less varied songs and movements.AbstrakSistem Pendidikan di Filipina berubah karena merujuk program PBB yaitu Sustainable Development Goals. Salah satu perubahannya yaitu setiap siswa wajib mengikuti program Daily Physical Activity sebelum memulai pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan di Malacampa Elementary School-Main, Tarlac City, Philippines. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dampak apa saja yang terjadi setelah diterapkannya Daily Physical Activity yang dilakukan setiap pagi hari dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. Daily Physical Activity yang dilakukan adalah menari 10 sampai 15 menit. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto di mana peneliti meneliti program yang sedang terjadi di Filipina. Peneliti mengambil sampel satu kelas, yaitu kelas 6 SSES yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini yaitu adanya dampak positif berupa anak lebih antusias dalam melakukan tugas gerak di kesehariannya dan negatif berupa siswa merasa bosan dengan lagu dan gerakan yang kurang bervariatif.

Abstract

Currently traditional games are rarely played by children along with the times, even though several studies mention that traditional games have a very important role in stimulating the gross motor development that is owned by every child. This research aims to create new game products from traditional sport modifications that are appropriate to be used and can potentially develop the gross motor skills of children aged 9-12 years. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) which is carried out by the steps of: 1) Product Design, 2) Validation Phase 1, 3) Design Revision, 4) Second Stage Validation, 5) Trial of Small Scale Products, 6) Product Revision, 7) Final Product. The research sample was 30 students at Widarapayung Wetan State Elementary School 02 grades IV, V, VI. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire containing statements validated by experts, then the scores obtained were processed and converted into product evaluation criteria. The results of this study obtained an assessment of game experts by 94% or the category of "Very Good", education experts by 90% or the category of "Very Good" and experts for growth and development by 82% or the category of "Very Good", as well as an assessment of PJOK teachers by 85% or "Very Good" category, so as to get a final score of 91.2% or "Very Good" category, thus it can be stated that the PPS game is very appropriate to be used as a game model that can potentially develop gross motor skills of children aged 9-12 year.AbstrakSaat ini permainan tradisional mulai jarang dimainkan anak-anak seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, padahal beberapa studi menyebutkan bahwa permainan tradisional memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam merangsang perkembangan motorik kasar yang dimiliki oleh setiap anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan produk permainan baru dari modifikasi olahraga tradisional yang layak digunakan dan berpotensi dapat mengembangkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia 9 - 12 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RD) yang dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah: 1) Desain Produk, 2) Validasi Tahap ke-1, 3) Revisi Desain, 4) Validasi Tahap Kedua, 5) Uji Coba Produk Skala Kecil, 6) Revisi Produk, 7) Produk Akhir. Sampel penelitian adalah 30 siswa SD Negeri Widarapayung Wetan 02 kelas IV, V, VI. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket berisi pernyataan yang di validasi oleh ahli, kemudian skor yang diperoleh diolah dan dikonversikan ke dalam kriteria penilaian produk. Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh penilaian dari ahli permainan sebesar 94% atau kategori “Sangat Baik”, ahli pendidikan sebesar 90% atau kategori “Sangat Baik” dan ahli pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sebesar 82% atau kategori “Sangat Baik”, sert penilaian dari guru PJOK sebesar 85% atau kategori “Sangat Baik”, sehingga memperoleh nilai akhir sebesar 91,2% atau kategori “Sangat Baik”, dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa permainan PPS sangat layak digunakan sebagai model permainan yang berpotensi dapat mengembangkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia 9 – 12 tahun.

Abstract

This study is motivated by learning low organized games as a support in improving physical fitness. This study aims to develop a low organized games learning program in physical education to improve students physical fitness. The method used in this study is an experiment with a pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study were fifth grade students. The sample in this study was 62 students This study was conducted as many as 12 meetings. Data processing using SPSS software version 22.00 for Windows. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the implementation of learning low organized games on the degree of physical fitness students, there was a significant effect of the application of control group learning on the physical fitness degree of students, and learning of low organized games was more influential compared to control group learning on physical fitness degrees of students. AbstrakStudi ini dilatarbelakangi pembelajaran low organized games sebagai penunjang dalam meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan program pembelajaran low organized games dalam pendidikan jasmani untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini yaitu eksperimen dengan desain pretest posttest control group design. Populasi dalam studi ini yaitu siswa kelas V. Sampel dalam studi ini sebanyak 62 siswa. Studi ini dilakukan sebanyak 12 kali pertemuan. Analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 22.00 for Windows. Hasil studi menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan pembelajaran low organized games terhadap derajat kebugaran jasmani siswa, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan pembelajaran kelompok kontrol terhadap derajat kebugaran jasmani siswa, dan pembelajaran low organized games lebih berpengaruh dari pembelajaran kelompok kontrol terhadap derajat kebugaran jasmani siswa.

Abstract

Swimming is one of the measured sports that is influenced by several factors to be able to perform a variety of swimming style techniques well, one of the important factors and has not been studied more deeply, namely regarding the Body Mass Index (BMI) of junior swimming athletes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the Body Mass Index (BMI) in junior high school age junior athletes. The research method used is ex-postfacto research. The population of this study is junior swimming athletes at the Tirta Kembar Purwokerto swimming club, while the study sample is all junior swimming athletes of elementary school age with an average age of 10 years totaling 20 children and consisting of 14 female athletes and 6 male athletes, using techniques total sampling. Data collection was performed using the Body Mass Index (BMI) instrument with a validity and reliability of 0.98. Data analysis used the Benchmark Reference Assessment (PAP) based on the Body Mass Index (IMT) criteria and then analyzed using Ms. assistance. Excel. The results showed that the Body Mass Index (BMI) of junior high school age swimming athletes at the Tirta Kembar Purwokerto swimming club showed an average value of vulnerable BMI, but there were two junior female athletes who were at BMI with overweight criteria, with the percentage of BMI less than 65%, BMI Normal 25%, BMI Overweight 10% and no children in the category of Obesity. The conclusion of this study is that, on average junior swimming athletes of primary school age have a thin IMT category, so it is less ideal for a swimming athlete at junior age. Suggestion of this study is that there needs to be special attention from parents and trainers regarding nutritional intake in children, so that children can have BMI criteria in the normal category according to their age, and avoid the risk of malnutrition and obesity.AbstrakRenang merupakan salah satu olahraga terukur yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor untuk dapat melakukan berbagai teknik gaya renang dengan baik, salah satu faktor yang penting dan belum dikaji secara lebih dalam yaitu mengenai Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dari atlet renang junior. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu ingin meganalisis karakteristik Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) pada atlet renang junior usia Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian ex-postfacto. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah atlet renang junior di klub renang Tirta Kembar Purwokerto, sedangkan sampel penelitian yaitu seluruh atlet renang junior usia sekolah dasar dengan rata-rata umur 10 tahun yang berjumlah 20 anak dan terdiri dari 14 atlet putri dan 6 atlet putra, menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengunakan instrumen Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) dengan validitas dan reliabilitas 0,98. Analisis data menggunakan Penilaian Acuan Patokan (PAP) berdasarkan kriteria Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) dan kemudian dianalisis mengunakan bantuan Ms. Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) atlet renang junior usia sekolah dasar di klub renang Tirta Kembar Purwokerto menunjukan nila rata-rata pada rentan IMT Kurus, akan tetapi terdapat dua atlet junior putri yang berada pada IMT dengan kriteria berat badan lebih, dengan jumlah prosentase IMT Kurus 65%, IMT Normal 25%, IMT Kelebihan Berat Badan 10% dan tidak ada anak dalam kategori Obesitas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu, rata-rata atlet renang junior usia sekolah dasar memilki kategori IMT kurus, sehingga kurang ideal untuk seorang atlet renang di usia junior. Saran dari penelitian ini yaitu perlu adanya perhatian khusus dari orang tua dan pelatih mengenai asupan gizi pada anak, sehingga anak dapat memiliki kriteria IMT pada kategiori normal sesuai dengan usianya, serta terhindar dari resiko kekurangan gizi dan kegemukan/obesitas.
