Abstract

The criminal law formulation policy in Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code brings the new rules up in enforcing criminal law in Indonesia. One of the changes towards these regulations includes determining corporations as the subject of criminal acts. This regulation was appeared since the law enforcers have been limited in imposing sanctions on corporations that violate statutory provisions all this time. Before the ratified of the Criminal Code, there were several laws besides the Criminal Code that previously determined the definition of a corporation and its forms of responsibility, such as the Law on the Eradication of Money Laundering, the Law on the Eradication of Corruption, Narcotics Law and other laws that regulate corporate responsibility. By designating corporations as subjects of criminal acts, it will make it easier for law enforcers to carry out investigations, inquiries and prosecutions. Keywords: Criminal Law Formulation, Corporate Responsibility, Subject of Criminal Acts.

Abstract

The advocate profession is a profession that provides legal services to clients in the form of providing legal advice and/or legal assistance as well as being a legal representative who acts for and on behalf of and in the client's legal interests. Therefore, advocates have the right to receive an honorarium for legal services provided to their clients, the amount of which is determined fairly based on an agreement between the advocate and their client in accordance with the provisions of Article 21 paragraph (2) of the Advocate Law. The arrangement for advocate services shows that the advocate's honorarium is entirely the result of negotiations between the advocate and the client, without limits. The lack of standardization of the regulation of advocate services in the Advocate Law can give rise to several legal problems, including: 1) the cost of legal services becomes expensive, making it quite burdensome for justice seekers; 2) the emergence of disputes or disputes between advocates and clients which result in lawsuits in court; 3) has the potential to become a means of money laundering. Keywords: Advocate, Honorarium

Abstract

The use of engine lubricants is increasing every year, so the volume of used oil is also increasing. Based on the Ministry of Environment, used oil belongs to the category of B3 waste. In this research, tests were carried out by adding NaOH to used oil and without adding NaOH to used oil in the processing of used oil into liquid fuel, where the used oil was put into the reactor then heated until the oil in the reactor evaporated and the output was collected, then the physical properties were measured. from the liquid fuel produced where the analysis results using NaOH treatment for the average density value were 831.4 kg/m2, viscosity was 2.24 mm2/s, and the flash point value was 35.1 0C, for analysis results without using the NaOH treatment, the average density value is 831.2 kg/m2, the viscosity is 5.85 mm2/s, and the flash point value is 35.3 0CKeywords : Used Oil, NaOH, Density, Viscosity, Flash Point

Abstract

Abstract

1) With the rapid development in South Sumatra Province, the government is implementing development policies in the civil construction sector. This is very necessary to increase development progress in various fields and to provide complete and adequate facilities according to the needs of its users. We often find that roads will be cut off somewhere due to natural obstacles or because of construction needs due to increasing population development. With the purposes outlined above, bridge construction is being carried out in several regions of South Sumatra. The government carried out the PUPR Bina Marga service to build a bridge at PPK 3.3 (Fly Over Bantaian, Gunung Megang District, Muara Enim District). 2) The construction of retaining walls has a very important role on slopes, including: resisting the lateral pressure of active soil which has the potential for landslides, resisting the lateral pressure of water which has the potential for the soil to collapse due to large water pressure, and preventing water seepage due to high elevations. on a slope. A slope on which a structure will be placed needs to be strengthened using a retaining wall. The data used as reference material in preparing this Independent Study Proposal can be classified into two types, namely: Primary Data, Secondary Data 3) Quality implementation in a development project needs to be carried out, because the quality used will affect the time and costs required. Quality control is carried out so that the work carried out by the contractor is in accordance with what has been planned by the planning consultant. Quality control can be carried out directly or indirectly. Direct control can be carried out directly in the field and indirect control can be carried out through laboratory checks. 4) Based on the results of an independent study in the field on the construction of the Bantaian Muara Enim FO, which was discussed in the previous chapter, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) The length of the Bantaian Muara Enim FO is from STA 147+050 – STA 147+700. 2) Retaining wallCantilever has STA 147+575 – STA 147+615 andGravity STA 147+418. 3) Several stages of retaining wall implementation work.
