Abstract

Kebutuhan impor jagung Indonesia rata-rata 9% atau 1,4 juta ton per tahun, sedangkan kenaikan areal tanam hanya 1% per tahun. Sehingga hal tersebut memberikan peluang yang besar bagi para petani dalam  meningkatkan produksi, maka perlu diusahakan peningkatan hasil. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah dan hasil tanaman jagung adalah dengan penambahan bahan organik. Salah satu tanaman yang berpotensi besar sebagai sumber bahan organik yang dapat dibudidayakan adalah kirinyuh. Komposisi kandungan hara kirinyuh 2,42% N; 0.26% P; 50.40% C; dan 20,82% C/N. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan dosis kompos kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata) yang tepat terhadap sifat kimia tanah dan hasil tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan dan 5 ulangan sehingga terdapat 20 satuan percobaan. Adapun dosis tiap-tiap perlakuan yang diberikan sebagai berikut: K0 = tanpa perlakuan (kontrol), K1 = Kompos kirinyuh 10 t/ha, K2 = Kompos kirinyuh 15 t/ha, K3 = Kompos kirinyuh 20 t/ha. Hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan mengunakan uji F. Apabila F hitung > F tabel 5% maka dilanjutkan dengan Duncans New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) pada taraf nyata 5%. Pemberian kompos kirinyuh dengan dosis 20 t/ha (K3) dapat meningkatkan sifat kimia tanah (pH, Al-dd, P-tersedia, N-total, K-dd) dan memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan tanam (panjang tongkol jagung, dan bobot 100 biji). Kata kunci: kirinyuh, kimia tanah, jagung

Abstract

Kegiatan pertambangan emas di Nagari Koto Tuo telah berlangsung lama dengan segalaperkembangan kegiatan pertambangannya. Kegiatan pertambangan emas di Nagari Koto Tuomenimbulkan dampak positif dan negative. Dampak positif misalnya meningkatnyapereknomian masyarakat yang berimbas pada meningkatnya ksejahteraan masyarakat danmeningkatnya pendidikan generasi muda. Akan tetapi dampak negatifnya juga bnyakdiantaranya, kerusakan lingkungan yang sangat massif, kehidupan masyarakat menjadikonsumtif, konflik ditengah-tengah masyarakat bahkan yang sangat pentin adalah semakinmenipisnya lahan pertanian produktif masyarakat. Dari 114 Ha luas lahan pertanian sebanyak± 85 ha sudah berubah menjadi lahan tambang. Sementara hampir 80 % mata pencaharianmasyarakat Nagari Koto Tuo adalah dari sector pertanian, dan 4 tahun terakhir ini beralihprofesi menjadi penambang emas sebanyak 70 %. Dalam 2 (dua) tahun terakhirini kandunganemas yang terdapat di Nagari Koto Tuo semakin sedikit, sementara lahan pertanian banyak yangtelah berubah menjadi lahan tambang dan setelah emasnya habis tiak dilakukan reklamasi danupaya konservasi lahan, sehingga lahan tambang tersebut dibiarkan begitu saja menjadi lahantidur dan tidak diurus dengan baik, sehingga kondisi ini tentu saja akan berdampak pada tingkatperekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat, oleh sebab itu diperlukan sebuah upaya„pemaksaan‟ bagi masyarakat pemilik lahan untuk mellakukan reklamasi dan konservasi lahanbekas tambang menjadi lahan produktif yang pengaturannya diperlukan melalui peraturan legalformal berbentuk Peraturan Nagari tentang Reklamasi Bekas Lahan Tambang.

Abstract

The concept of food sovereignty has officially become the goal and approach in national food development, as stated in Law no. 18 of 2012 concerning Food, food independence and food security. This activity aimed to provide an overview of the concept of food sovereignty that the community can carry out through the Agroecology Field School. The results from the field school show that food sovereignty was an essential strategy to complement food security as the ultimate goal of food development so that people can be independent without any dependence. Agroecology field school activities emphasize that food sovereignty relates to farmers' rights and access to all agricultural resources, including land, water, production facilities, technology, marketing, and consumption. This condition can be measured at various levels at the individual, household, community and regional levels. The agroecology field school activities were held in two locations: Lubuk Gadang Selatan and Sako Utara Pasia Talang, West Sumatra. The material presented at the extension activity includes Introduction to Agricultural Science, Agroecology, Basics of Agricultural Ecosystems, Food Sovereignty, Cultivation and Breeding Techniques, Plant Maintenance, Fundamentals of Soil Science, Irrigation Management, Plant Breeding and Post Harvest.

Abstract

Indonesia is the third largest coffee exporting country in the world after Vietnam. In the current era of trade globalization, market competition is increasingly more stringent, where each country opens up their markets to one another. Therefore, we need to analyze the competitiveness and development of Indonesian coffee agribusiness. Competitiveness The analysis is perfomed by analyzing the comparative advantage Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and competitive advantage with Diamond Porter's theoretical approach. The results show that Indonesian coffee, especially West Sumatra, has a competitive advantage, both comparative and competitive. The analysis used for produce an agribusiness development strategy is by SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses,Opportunities and Threats). The strategy resulting from the analysis is more focused on the technical aspect and cultivation of coffee commodity development.

Abstract

This study was prepared based on Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with four treatment levels and three replications. The observed data were analyzed by using F test at 5% real level and if F value count> F table 5%, then continued with Duncens New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) test at 5% real level. The treatment given are: A = Control (without manure), B = soil + cow manure, C = soil + goat manure, D = soil + chicken manure. The variables observed were seed height, leaf number, leaf width, leaf length, root length of the rider, stem circumference and percentage of live seedlings. The result of the research showed that the effect of chicken manure showed a significant effect on the seed height of 5.69 cm, the number of leaves was 8.83, the leaf width was 0.74 cm, the length of the leaf was 1.64 cm, the root length of the root was 8, 61 cm and stem circumference of 0.35 cm.

Abstract

Rice is the staple food of Indonesian people. The lampai kuniang rice is a local variety of rice from Nagari Aie Angek, Sijunjung District which has become a national variety rice seed. In an effort to extend the shelf life of rice, one of the efforts can be done by storing rice as food reserves. Nagari Palasan one of Tanjung Gadang District, Sijunjung Regency has its own uniqueness in storing rice grain and people call it Galugu. The existence of the rice barn (Galugu) is a historical relic which is part of the cultural heritage in Palasan village. The Galugu form consists of boundaries or partitions using boards with grain on the floor (rumah gadang). Galugu has multiple functions, apart from storing grain, it can also be used as a seat for the ninik mamak of a tribe at traditional events. The method used in this research is an observation method or survey, which is analyzed descriptively by analyzing rice from storage of galugu rice and sack rice and by liking or subjectively testing with the parameters Slightly Dislike, Dislike, Neutral, Somewhat Like, Like and Very Like. The results obtained in the storage of galugu rice and sack rice were dominant in the storage of galugu rice on the color indicator 5.00 and taste 4.89Keywords: galugu, lumbung, rice

Abstract

Instruksi Presiden No.3 Tahun 2003 Tentang Kebijakan dan strategi Nasional Pengembangan E-government adalah manifestasi keseriusan pemerintah dalam penyelenggaraan fungsi pemerintahan dengan memanfaatkan infrastruktur teknologi informasi. Secara garis besar e-government bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan publik kepada masyarakat.  Pemerintahan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat menerapkan e-governament dengan mengeluarkan Peraturan Daerah Nomor 20 Tahun 2018 tentang Pengelolaan Sitem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik. Sebelum pandemic Covid-19 pelaksanaan e-government di Sumatera Barat sudah berada pada proses pemantapan.  Pada masa pandemi Covid-19,  layanan e-governament seharusnya dioptimalkan dengan memastikan sudah berada pada tahap pemanfaatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan respon dan kendala Pemerintahan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat dalam pengembangan layanan e-government pada masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian secara kualitatif dengan studi kasus, pemilihan informan dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada beberapa respon yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintahan Daerah Provinsi Sumbar dalam pengembangan layanan e- governament masa pandemi covid 19, yaitu : dengan mengeluarkan Perda No. 6 Tahun 2020 tentang AKB, adanya program OnSmart berbasis android, program Command Center, Aplikasi Surek, Abon Sumbar, Aplikasi e-SPJ Online, Silahar, Aplikasi Sipelada, iSumbar Mambaco. Beberapa kendala dalam pengembangan layanan e government adalah minimnya pembangunan infrastruktur IT, rendahnya kualitas SDM pengoperasian IT,  rendahnya anggaran pengembangan IT serta belum maksimalnya integrasi sistem antar OPDKata kunci : pengembangan, layanan, e-government

Abstract

Agriculture plays a crucial role in meeting food needs and improving the well-being of communities. However, challenges to the sustainability and productivity of agriculture are on the rise. Dependency on chemical fertilizers and synthetic pesticides has had negative environmental impacts. Eco enzymes, as an innovative organic fertilizer, offer a sustainable solution. Eco enzymes enhance soil productivity and quality while reducing reliance on synthetic chemicals. This project was conducted in Nagari Lasi, Canduang District, Agam Regency, from October 2022 to May 2023. The method involved the participation of farmers and the local community in every stage of the project to facilitate knowledge transfer and broader adoption of the innovation. The results of this project introduced the innovation to farmers and the community through various demonstration activities. The aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of sustainable agriculture revitalization through eco enzymes. Eco enzymes for agriculture can improve nutrient absorption efficiency by plants, reduce environmental pollution potential, and enhance soil quality. A significant increase in rice production was observed when comparing production with and without eco enzymes. The conclusion drawn from this project is that eco enzymes are an innovative organic fertilizer that enhances agricultural productivity, soil quality, and reduces reliance on synthetic chemicals sustainably. Recommendations for future work include evaluating eco enzyme compositions, studying fermentation environmental impacts, assessing soil quality impacts, production efficiency, conducting economic studies, and fostering institutional collaboration.

Abstract

Penerapan Good Mining Practice (GMP) merupakan salah satu syarat dalam pemberian Izin Usaha Produksi (IUP) baik kepada perusahaan maupun kepada perseorangan dalam aktivitas pertambangan mineral dan batu bara (Minerba) di Indonesia, sebagaimana di atur oleh Undang-Undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2020. PT. Inexco Jaya Makmur (IJM) merupakan perusahaan pertambangan yang telah memperoleh IUP OP melalui Surat Keputusan Gubernur Sumbar Nomor 544/274/2017 tentang Persetujuan Peningkatan Izin Usaha Pertambangan Eksplorasi menjadi Izin Usaha Penambangan (IUP) Operasi Produksi Mineral Logam, dengan masa berlaku 2 Oktober 2017 s/d 31 Desember 2036 dengan wilayah operasional seluas 2.408 Ha yang berada di Jorong Sungai Beremas Nagari Cubadak Kecamatan Duo Koto Kabupaten Pasaman, akan tetapi IUP tersebut mendapat penolakan dari masyarakat Nagari Simpang Tonang karena 974 Ha wilayah IUP nya berada di Nagari Simpang Tonang. Penolakan tersebut berujung terjadinya konflik dan bentrokan antara masyarakat dengan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan penerapan good mining practice dengan fenomena konflik pada pertambangan emas PT. IJM dengan masyarakat Simpang Tonang. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Pemilihan informan dengan purposive sampling, pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan PT. Inexco Jaya Makmur (IJM) sebagai salah satu perusahaan pertambangan emas yang telah memperoleh sertifikat Clear and Clean (CnC) untuk saat ini belum bisa secara menyeluruh memenuhi syarat-syarat penerapan GMP, karena tahapan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan oleh PT. IJM masih pada tahapan persiapan/konstruksi. Sementara GMP akan terlihat pelaksanaanya secara menyeluruh jika telah memasuki tahapan penambangan/ekploitasi, kondisi ini juga diperparah dengan adanya penolakan masyarakat terhadap keberadaan PT. Abstract

This community service activity takes the form of clinical coaching on agricultural waste management in raising goats/cattle which aims to transfer knowledge and improve skills regarding the management of agricultural waste processing such as rice straw as an alternative feed ingredient and the rice straw ammonization process. This activity also aims to increase public knowledge about management of the maintenance and processing of agricultural waste in the form of ammoniated rice straw, so that it can overcome difficulties in procuring animal feed. The method used in the coaching clinic is guidance on waste management using science and technology as well as practice or demonstration of making straw ammonia. This activity was carried out through several stages, namely socialization & coaching clinic about goat/cattle farming, animal feed ingredients and making straw ammonization. This activity received a very positive and enthusiastic response from members and succeeded in providing an understanding of solutions to feed difficulties in the dry season. Apart from that, the ammoniated rice straw that had been produced was tried to be given to livestock and the results were very clearly liked by cattle. This shows that ammoniated straw is preferred by cattle because the nutritional content of rice straw that has been processed using the ammonia process can be used as an alternative feed. The raw material for rice straw is easy to obtain in West Bungus Village, Teluk Kabung Subdistrict, so that every farmer can carry out rice straw ammonia processing using simple technology with optimal results. Rice straw that has been processed can reduce production costs so that it will improve the community's economy
