Abstract

One of the targets of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is to end all forms of malnutrition including achieving the 2025 international target to reduce stunting in children under five years old. Stunting not only impacts to health but also economic productivity, which is part of the Double Bourden Malnutrition (DBM) problem. The efforts that can be made include ending hunger and ensuring access to safe, nutritious, adequate food for all people, especially the poor and vulnerable, including babies and toddlers. This study aims to determine the relationship between food security and family income with the incidence of stunting in children under five years old. The study used an analytic method with a Case Control approach. The population in this study were mothers who had toddlers with a total sample size of 84 respondents consisting of 42 case groups and 42 control groups. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between food security (p.value 0.029) and family income (p.value 0.040) with the incidence of stunting in children under five years old. It is expected that families can improve food security and family income by utilizing the house yard by planting vegetables in pots, raising catfish using tarpaulins or used drums, and raising chickens. So that it can meet family needs without having to buy. So that it can meet nutritional needs and can prevent stunting in toddlersKeywords: Food Security; Family Income; Stunting.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem of crime is a phenomenon that always occurs in urban and rural communities. Crime can arise as a result of individual or group dissatisfaction with the achievement of fulfilling their life needs. One of the crimes that has been widely reported in the last decade in Indonesia, especially in the Sorong Police area, is theft with violence. This research aims to determine the role of the Turjawali Unit of the Sorong Police Samapta Unit in efforts to prevent patrols against violent theft in the Sorong Police jurisdiction based on Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the State Police of the Republic of Indonesia and the obstacles faced by the Turjawali Unit of the Sorong Police Samapta Unit in preventive patrol efforts against violent theft in the Sorong Police jurisdiction. The research method used is the empirical normative type, which was carried out at the Turjawali Unit, Sorong Police Samapta Unit. Data was obtained through primary data sources and secondary data sources using library study, interview and observation data collection techniques which were then analyzed using qualitative analysis. The research results obtained on the role of the Turjawali Unit of the Sorong Police Samapta Unit in this patrol are as a recipient of complaints for the community and as a source of information for the unit. This countermeasure is to prevent the meeting of intention and opportunity factors that allow criminal acts to occur. The role carried out by the Turjawali Unit of the Sorong Police Samapta Unit is of course also to support police actions in the form of preventive and repressive or prevention and handling. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by the Turjawali Unit of the Sorong Police Samapta Unit in their efforts to prevent violent theft in the Sorong Police Legal Area are lack of personnel, lack of facilities and infrastructure and lack of community participation. Keywords: Police, Turjawali Unit, Samapta Unit, Theft with violence

Abstract

Abstract: Resolving conflicts between countries will rely on one of the national laws of a country in conflict, it feels unfair because the values that are embedded in each individual are definitely different. Protection is not only in the form of legal protection but also providing outreach and providing foreign language learning facilities. The protection referred to in the article above can be carried out by diplomatic representatives who are "The conduct by government officials of negotiations and other relations between nations; the art of science of conducting such negotiations; skill in managing negotiations, handling of people so that there is little or no ill-will act." From this definition, it can be seen that actions by government officials regarding negotiations and other relations between countries, knowledge about negotiations, skills in managing negotiations, handling individuals so that no bad actions are taken, all of this can be interpreted as diplomacy. Diplomatic representatives are really needed as representatives of countries with the duties and functions of carrying out cooperation between countries in maintaining world peace for the welfare of humanity based on freedom and social justice. Keywords: Diplomatic Representatives, Migrant Workers, Malaysia.

Abstract

Abstract: The concept of the fourth branch of power emerged as a response to the limitations of the traditional separation of powers system, which only includes the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. The fourth branch involves independent institutions such as the media, civil society organizations, and oversight bodies that play a role in monitoring and controlling the three main branches of power to maintain a balance of power and government accountability. This study aims to examine the development and application of the fourth branch of power theory in the context of modern governance. Using a normative legal approach, the study analyzes the legal norms regulating the fourth branch and the challenges faced in its implementation. The findings show that while the fourth branch strengthens the checks and balances principle, challenges such as overlapping authority and potential abuse of power remain issues that need to be addressed to create more transparent and accountable governance. Keywords: Fourth Branch Of Power, Separation Of Power.
