Abstract

Satisfaction is the level of feeling after comparing perceived performance with expectations (Philip Kotler, 1997, 36). So a company must pay attention to the things that are considered important by customers so that their expectations are met. Quality of service is centered on efforts to fulfill customer needs, such as accuracy in inspection, conformity of product specifications and processing time provided according to order as well as friendly service from each personnel. The results of the study A total of 15 respondents (50%) are very satisfied and 15 respondents (50%) are satisfied with the effectiveness of the service and as many as 15 respondents (50%) are very satisfied and 15 respondents (50%) are satisfied with the efficiency of optical services in West Sumatra. Based on the results of this study, there are several suggestions that need to be submitted, namely: (1) Researchers must understand and be able to explain and be able to apply the implementation of service effectiveness and efficiency to customer satisfaction (2) Optical in order to implement the implementation of service effectiveness and efficiency on satisfaction customers, and an optical refraction check should be carried out by an Optimist Refractionist and (3) the public so that they can choose and make glasses with maximum service and results so that satisfaction is achieved.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the discovery of problems related to career development and employee job satisfaction at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of career development on employee job satisfaction at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a causal associative approach. . The population in this study were all employees of Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang except for the Head of Department (HOD) which amounted to 150 employees. The number of samples in this study was 60 people. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire (questionnaire) using a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis technique using SPSS version 16.0 program. The results of this study indicate that; 1) career development Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang as many as 13.3% of respondents said it was good and 86.7% said it was not good. 2) Job satisfaction of Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang employees as many as 21.7% of respondents said they were satisfied and 78.3% said they were not satisfied. 3) there is a significant effect between career development and employee job satisfaction at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang, with a regression coefficient of 8.526 in sig. 0.00 < 0.05. This means that every increase of 1 unit of career development will increase employee job satisfaction by 8,526 units. While the magnitude of the influence of career development on employee job satisfaction Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang is 55.6%, while the rest is influenced by other factors

Abstract

West Sumatra Province is one of the provinces where the City and Regency have natural resources and many tourist objects. These cities and regencies have natural resources and tourist objects that have their respective advantages. Several cities from the many cities in West Sumatra that have a busy tourist attraction are the cities of Bukittinggi and Payakumbuh. In addition to having many tourist attractions, it also has abundant natural resources such as plantations, forestry, and industry. To visit and transport these resources, it must be supported by proper and adequate transportation facilities. Currently, the transportation used to transport goods and passengers uses roads, so it has the potential to cause problems both in terms of facilities and infrastructure and the emergence of congestion due to heavy traffic. Therefore, an alternative mode of transportation is needed to help reduce the burden of the highway, namely the mode of rail transportation for the smooth flow of distribution of goods and services, so it is felt that the Bukittinggi - Payakumbuh railway line is needed. This line is part of the route traversed by the Trans Sumatra Railway. This railway line is built or reactivated in order to reduce congestion that occurs at certain times. In the process of loading the Bukitinggi - Payakumbuh railway line, a methodology for collecting primary and secondary data, problem identification, literature study and analysis is needed. planning data in the form of design speed analysis, rail analysis and bearing analysis to be used. In this paper, the selection of the route, Geometric Planning, Railroad Construction Planning and at Km 15 is carried out. The selection of the route is based on the design speed of the train plan. Geometric planning using the Railways Management and Engineering method. Railroad construction refers to regulation PD-10 PJKA (1986). The results obtained from this paper are the planning of the railroad route as an alternative mode of transportation along ± 30 km from the City of Bukittinggi - Payakumbuh. So that it can be used as a comparison suggestion for the West Sumatra Provincial Government in building railroads in the future.

Abstract

In order to build an integrated economy and one-stop service, the government of Padang City issued a policy to solve these problems. The policy is managed by the Padang City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP). The purpose of the DPMPTSP is to make it easier for the community to make licensing letters, in the form of a one-stop integrated service (PTSP), where PTSP provides integrated services in order to cut the bureaucracy of licensing services. Padang city. This policy is contained in the Mayor of Padang Regulation No. 28 of 2017 concerning the delegation of authority and one-stop integrated services for the City of Padang. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, with purposive sampling technique. Collecting data by library method, interview and observation. Then analyzed using the miles and huberaman methods. This study uses the theory of George C. Edward III because the indicators are in accordance with the research. The results showed that (1) the implementation of the Padang mayor's regulation no 28 of 2017 concerning the delegation of authority and one-stop integrated services in the city of Padang has not been effective, this happens because not all of the permits can be carried out by the Padang City DPMPTSP. The cause can be viewed from the elements of communication, resources, attitude of implementers and organizational structure. (2) the obstacles that occur in the implementation of Perwako No. 28 of 2017 are the lack of resources, both inadequate human resources from experts both from facilities and infrastructure resources to support the implementation of services. not yet committed to carrying out their duties. (3) efforts are being made to overcome the obstacles that occur in the implementation of Perwako No. 28 of 2017 which is to complete resources both from human resources and from facilities and infrastructure resources, then the need for a special study on the renewal of Perwako No. 28 of 2017 to better policies. . And finally, the need for DPMPTSP to fix the online service system during the corona virus 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya minat siswa dalam bertanya dan mengajukan pertanyaan serta rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan minat siswa kelas V dalam menjawab dan mengajukan pertanyaan serta menjelaskan dan menanggapi jawaban pada pembelajaran PPKn melalui metode Giving Question Getting Answer di UPT SD Negeri 09 Baringin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek siswa kelas V sebanyak 37 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1).Terdapat peningkatan indikator minat siswa siklus I ke siklus II. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase indikator minat siswa pada siklus I yaitu 70,3%., meningkat Pada siklus II minat siswa yaitu 91,9%. (2).Terdapat peningkatan indikator hasil belajar siswa dari aspek afektif tingkat A2 (menanggapi pertanyaan), yaitu 74,8% siklus I menjadi 84,7% pada siklus II. Kemudian peningkatan hasil belajar juga dapat dilihat dari ketuntasan hasil belajar pada tes akhir siklus. yaitu dari 70,3% pada siklus I menjadi 89,2% pada siklus II. Penelitian ini menyarankan kepada guru agar dapat menggunakan metode Giving Question Getting Answer untuk menunjang tercapainya target kurikulum dan daya serap siswa seperti yang diharapkan. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar pelaksanaan penelitian metode Giving Question Getting Answer dilaksanakan lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

Upper respiratory tract infections (ARI), especially pneumonia, are still the main diseases that cause infant and toddler mortality and illness. The incidence of ARI deaths (especially pneumonia) in the 12-23 month age group was 21.7%. The high incidence and mortality due to pneumonia in infants is caused by various factors, one of which is the factor of knowledge and smoking behavior of parents. The proportion of smoking behavior in Indonesia increased from 34.2% (2007) to 36.3% (2013). Research objectives: 1) To study the effect of health education on changes in smoking behavior in the incidence of childhood pneumonia. This type of research is experimental research with Quasi experimental design (quasi-experimental) with the design of One Group Pretest Postest. The experimental group in this study was given health education by providing counseling using leaflet media and brochures. The population in this study were all parents who had children aged 12-59 months at the Padang City Health Center. The number of samples is 124 people. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate. Research is conducted on parents who have toddlers under five through observation and questionnaires using accidental sampling techniques. Based on research that has been carried out until July 2018 on 124 samples, it can be concluded that there were 32 cases of pneumonia in infants. Found more than half of the 105 respondents (84.7%) had smoking behavior. Where as many as 58.9% of family members have smoking behavior in the heavy category. After being given health education there was a change that was as much as 72.6% of family members who had children under five in the city of Padang had smoking behavior in the light category. From the results of statistical tests, it was found that health education was effective in changing the smoking behavior of family members (p-value = 0.001) on the incidence of pneumonia of children under five from those who had severe smoking.

Abstract

Perilaku mencuci tangan pakai sabun pada masyarakat yang masih tergolong rendah dapat menimbulkan resiko penyebaran penyakit infeksi. Penyakit infeksi yang sedang rentan saat ini adalah COVID19 (Corona Virus Desases 19). Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan edukasi Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) terhadap perilaku mencuci tangan pakai sabun pada anak asuh di Panti Asuhan Waraqil Jannah Panyalaian Tanah Datar. Metode penelitian ini adalah qusi eksperimen dengan melakukan wawancara sebelum kegiatan edukasi dan 3 hari setelah kegiatan edukasi, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan total sampling dan data di analisa secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh perilaku mencuci tangan pakai sabun pada anak asuh, dengan peningkatan penilaian pada indikator melakukan langkah CTPS sesuai yang diajarkan sebesar 30%, menggunakan peralatan untuk CTPS 18% dan memahami waktu melakukan CTPS 37%. Dapat disimpukan bahwa kegiatan edukasi CTPS yang dilakukan memberikan pengaruh terhadap perilaku mencuci tangan pakai sabun pada anak asuh di Panti Asuhan Waraqil Jannah Panyalian Tanah Datar sebagai upaya pencegahan covid-19.

Abstract

Pada saat pandemic seperti sekarang ini banyak masyarakat yang terdampak akibat wabah virus tersebut, dimana penyebaran virus tersebut tidak mengenal batas wilayah dan juga komunitas, semua bisa berpotensi terpapar dan menyebarkan virus tersebut. Seperti penyebaran virus yang terjadi di kecamatan coblong dimana salah satu kecamatan di kota bandung ini memiliki tingkat penyebaran yang cukup tinggi dengan jumlah korban meninggal yang juga banyak, oleh karena itu Polman Bandung sebagai Perguruan Tinggi memiliki kewajiban untuk memberikan sumbangsih pemikiran dan pengetahuannya untuk mengurangi penyebaran virus tersebut. Melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarkat yang berkolabrasi dengan kegiatan Kuliah kerja Nyata yang bekerjasama dengan beberapa pesantren dan sekolah yang ada disekitar polman Bandung merancang dan membangun sebuah alat yang dapat mengurangi penyebaran virus tersebut seperti membuat lemari yang dilengkapi dengan UV Chamber untuk steriliasasi penyimpanan alat ibadah agar virus tidak mudah menyebar, wastafel otomatatis agar dalam mencuci tangan dapat menghindari sentuhan dengan keran, digitalisasi penjualan UKM untuk mengurangi kerumunan dalam membeli makanan minuman dan lain lain. Program KKN sendiri merupakan merupakan suatu bentuk pendidikan dengan metode dalam memberikan pengalaman empiris kepada mahasiswa untuk hidup bersosialisasi ditengah-tengah masyarakat di luar kampus khususnya masyarkat yang terdampak, kegiatan tersebut juga secara langsung megajarkan kepada mahasiswa cara identifikasi masalah-masalah sosial kerakyatan terkait dengan penanggulangan wabah pandemic yang sekarang terjadi. Diharapkan dengan adanya kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Polman Bandung yang berkolaborasi dengan Kuliah Kerja Nyata mahasiswa ini dapat mengurangi dampak buruk akibat penyebaran virus covid 19 khususnya pada bidang kesehatan yang terjadi di kecamatan coblong

Abstract

The most common dental and oral disease is caries and periodontal disease. The main cause of both diseases is plaque, plaque is a soft deposit consisting of a collection of bacteria that multiply in a matrix. The formation of dental plaque can be prevented by gargling yam extract (Pachyrhizus erosus) with a concentration of 5%, 10% and 15%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving yam extract solution to the index of dental plaque. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of gargling yam extract solution (pachyrhizus erosus) on plaque index grade IV and V SDN 15 students at Ampang Gadang Ampek Angkek Subdistrict, Agam Regency in 2019. The scope of this study discusses the differences in gargling using yam extract (pachyrhizus erosus ), index plaque. There was a significant difference in the plaque index of gargling of yam extract (pachyrhizus erosus) solution in grade IV and V sdn 15 students of Ampang Gadang, Ampek Angkek District, Agam Regency. Utilization of fruits that are easily obtained locally to improve the dental health status of school-age children. The design of this study uses a quasi- experimental method ("quasi experiment") with a "pretest" and "posttest" design. The "pretest" and "posttest" designs carried out have an observation and treatment pattern. With a population of 72 people. Samples were taken by "purposive sampling" technique, the way the data was collected was by checking the plaque index, the data were analyzed by non-parametric statistical tests, the research results were significant differences between the plaque index scores before (pre-test) and after (post-test) gargling of yam extract solution (pachyrhizus erosus) both with a concentration of 5% .10% or 15% solution, with the highest average reduction in plaque index at a concentration of 10% solution.

Abstract

Satisfaction is the first indicator of a hospital's standard for measuring service quality. The results of the observations found that there were patient or family dissatisfaction caused by the long awaiting the payment process (billing system) carried out by the officer manually with the RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang. Therefore the researcher was interested in conducting a research on Patient Satisfaction in Making Payment (Billing System) in RSUD Dr.Rasidin Padang in 2018. The type of research was descriptive. This research was conducted at the RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang. The population in this study were all inpatients who received payment services, with a total sample of 62 with accidental sampling technique. Data collection is done by interviewing inpatients who are in the process of paying health service fees. Based on the results of the study, more than half (54.8%) of respondents were not satisfied in making payments, more than half (67.7%) of respondents who said the waiting time in payment was longer, and more than half (56.5%) of respondents said that the lack of technical competence of the staff in processing the payment of patient care costs at the RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang. The patient's dissatisfaction in paying for inpatient health services is more due to the payment system that is still done manually, resulting in difficulties in collecting and calculating total payments for health services and making it difficult for patients / families to process payments. The researcher suggested that the hospital make an SOP about the payment system as a guideline or guideline in carrying out its work, implement a payment system that has been integrated with other systems and suggest that officers fill in the complete and exact data needed in the process of paying patient care costs.
