Aims: Hemodialysis is one of kidney replacement therapy that is mostly performed by patients with chronic kidney failure. Changes in various physical and psychological conditions that cause CKD patients on hemodialysis will find excessive stressors. One of the alternative and complementary therapies to achieve self-healing is mind body and spirit therapy. The human aspect is an integral part of a number of therapies such as prayer, health, and yoga. Objective: Determine the effect of Islamic self healing n the level of self-efficacy in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis Methods: This research was quasi-experimental pretest-posttest with control group design. The samples were collected approximately 40 by randomly sampling during 12-26 July 2022. The population in this study was all patients who underwent hemodialysis routinely at a RSUD dr. Soedarso. The self-efficacy was measured by the chronic kidney disease (CKD) self-efficacy instrument: development and psychometric evaluation. The analysis technique in this study was sample paired t test and Mann Whitney test. Result: The results of this study indicate that most of the respondents are female (65%), have an average age of 51 years, and have the last elementary school education as much as 68%. The results of the sample paired t test in the control group were (0.40), the intervention group (0.002). Then the results of the Mann Whitney test on the efficacy value after 4 weeks of intervention showed a sig. 0.000. Conclusion: This can be done with the interdisciplinary involvement of care and psychological teams. It is recommended that spiritual therapy be included in the treatment program by health professionals, included in teaching programs, and used on a personal level for nurses and hemodialysis patients.

Aims: Good self-efficacy will encourage patients to behave assertively and adhere to medication, diet, and fluid restrictions in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis. However, nowadays, patient non-compliance with fluid restrictions is still high, which results in increased complications experienced by patients. The study aimed to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and adherence to fluid intake restrictions in chronic kidney patients undergoing hemodialysis at RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Methods: This study used a correlation study design and a cross-sectional method. The total sample was 81 respondents. Using purposive sampling with inclusion criteria, patients routinely undergo HD > 3 months, are over 18 years old, and can communicate well. The instruments used were the Self-Efficacy for Managing Chronic Disease (SEMCD) questionnaire and the Fluid Intake Restriction Adherence questionnaire—data analysis using the Spearman correlation test. Result: The results revealed a significant relationship between self-efficacy and adherence to fluid intake restrictions (p = <0.001) with a value (r = 0.703) which means the correlation for both variables is firmly in positive relation. Conclusion: Nurses in the HD room are expected to be able to provide self-efficacy training to patients to increase patient compliance, the higher the self-efficacy, the more compliant the patient with fluid intake restrictions. Keywords: Adherence, Fluid, Hemodialysis, Self-Efficacy.

Aims: Maintenance of skin and tissue integrity is one of the main focuses of various health care facilities throughout the world so that the implementation of effective prevention of skin trauma requires a protocol for early identification of at-risk patients in prevention of skin trauma. Objective: Knowing the effektiveness of the SRAMT instrument compared to other skin trauma monitoring instruments for monitoring neonatal skin trauma. Method: This research method is in the form of systematic review, database search is done through proquest, SAGE Journal, Sciencedirect, Clinicalkey Nursing and manual research. There were eight journal articles that met the inclusion criteria. Based on the article it was concluded that the instrument had gone through validity, reliability, interrater tests and correlation coefficients so that it was suitable for use in pediatric and neonatal patients. Result: There were seven journal articles that met the inclusion criteria. The most common type of skin injury are caused by the use of an indwelling vascular catheter and medical devices. The most common locations for skin injury are the nasal septum and the head area, including the face and scalp. Compared to other skin injury monitoring instruments, the SRAMT subscale is more comprehensive by having three skin trauma risk assessment sections, including skin trauma risk categories, management guidelines based on skin injury risk categories and prevention that can be carried out based on the type of skin injury that occurred. This guide is very important to reduce the risk of skin injury in neonates and provide uniformity in nursing care provided by nurses.

Aims: Tuberculosis-related stigma negatively influences tuberculosis prevention programs such as delayed diagnoses, poor treatment adherence, and decreased quality of life of patients. This descriptive quantitative study aimed to describe the stigma towards tuberculosis among parents. Method: A total of 30 samples taken through accidental sampling were parents who had children (0-14 years) with tuberculosis who had been treated at the public health centers. A questionnaire adapted from Van Rie TB Stigma Scale (VTSS) was used and analyzed using descriptive analysis. Result: Most parents (76.6%) had lower levels of stigma, while the others scored higher levels. Lower stigma levels can be caused by a mature mindset, good knowledge of TB information, and indicates higher hopes from parents to increase their care level for children’s development, health-seeking behavior, and support for children’s TB treatment until it is completed. Accordingly, higher stigma levels from parents might be a result of several external factors that can increase the lack of motivation for health-seeking behavior in their children’s TB treatment. Conclusion: The role of health workers is very important in reducing stigma. Health education about prevention and treatment of childhood tuberculosis is still needed because it is a source of fear and high stigma against childhood tuberculosis in society.
