Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji tentang pengaruh price discount framing terhadap purchase intention di Ramayana Department Store, Jodoh, Batam. Responden penelitian ini adalah pengunjung Ramayana Department Store dengan kiteria pernah melakukan kunjungan minimal 2 kali, yaitu sebanyak 107 orang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan regresi linear berganda, uji asumsi klasik, uji t dan uji F dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,05 dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah keempat variabel independen yaitu percentage discount, absolute saving, bonus pack dan special price secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap purchase intention.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know the difference of perception between National Migrant Workers of Men And Women Against Push And Pull Factors. The variable of push factors used in this research is that of job field, low wage, seeking capital and necessity of life. And pull factors are job opportunities, high wages, distance and culture. Then the data is processed using SPSS 20 software with parametric metode that is independent sample t test. The result of the research revealed that there is no difference of perception between men and women on the job field (push factor), there is no difference of perception between men and women to low wages (push factor), there is no difference of perception between men and women against looking for capital (push factor), there are differences of perceptions between men and women on the necessity of life (push factor), there are differences of perceptions between man and woman to job opportunity (pull factor), there are differences of perceptions between men (pull factor), there are differences in perceptions between men and women on the distance factor (pull factor) and there are differences in perceptions between men and women to the pull factor

Abstract

As an electronic learning system organizer State Polytechnic of Batam (Polibatam) must arrange secured electronic learning system. Ministry of Communication and Information of Indonesia expects the organizations which arrange electronic system can perform SNI ISO 27001 certification related to information security. Information security condition on organizations which will perform on certifiation is expected on maturity level at III+ (Directorate of Information Security Team, 2011). On the other hand, there is a gap between expected conditon and actual condition. Information security index (KAMI) is a tool to assess the implementation of information security that has been done. This research is assessed related to technology component because of high dependency of organization on technology. The purpose of research is to identify how far the security of technology at State Polytechnic of Batam by using information security index. Based on research, electronic learning system that is organized by State Polytechnic of Batam is low categorized. The total percentage is 65 or 54,17% out of maximum percentage. Therefore, the maturity level of technology security is on maturity level II which means the maturity level of technology security is under the expected maturity level for minimum readiness certification on III+. It is caused the position of State Polyetechnic of Batam is on a organizational development stage. Moreover, the focus of organization is related on operational, not strategic.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the needs of society and the conditions of service business competition intensifies, so the company must create a new marketing strategy to maintain and gain market share higher. As for the issue of this research is "What are the factors of products, personnel and promotion effect on customer satisfaction in PT. Mnet Indonesia ".The purpose of this study to determine how the product implementation process, personnel and promotion are being made to improve customer satisfaction and to determine the extent of the effect of products, personnel and promotion of customer satisfaction. The hypothesis of this study is the product, personnel and promotion effect on customer satisfaction. The author uses quantitative research methods explanatory. The research sample as many as 101 customers with a 99% confidence level (α = 0.01) in. Results of multiple linear regression analysis we concluded that all the independent variables, namely products, personnel and promotion have a positive effect on the dependent variable of customer satisfaction. Based on the results of the analysis of figures obtained correlation R of 0.697. This shows that there is a strong relationship or correlation between the products, personnel and promotion of customer satisfaction. While the results of the analysis of determination (R2) of 48.6%. This shows that the percentage of the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable of 48.6%. While the remaining 51.4% influenced or explained by other variables not included in this research model.

Abstract

This study examines the extrinsic and intrinsic reward relationship to job satisfaction and loyalty work in manufacturing companies in Batam. The reward system consists of a reward desired and expected reward either extrinsic or intrinsic. Job satisfaction can be met if the reward system fair and equitable to all workers according to their contribution to the company and will reduce labor turnover because of their loyalty to the company's labor and employment. Respondents in this study were 239 labor migrants working in manufacturing companies in Batam that reside in the Flats Muka Kuning, an analytical technique used is the analysis of correlation and independent test samples t-test. The results of the hypothesis: there is a positive and significant relationship between reward extrinsic and reward intrinsically desirable to job satisfaction and loyalty work, there is a relationship reward extrinsic and rewards intrinsic to expect on job satisfaction and loyalty work and not there are reward differences in perception between men and women on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepuasan konsumen dalam menggunakan sepeda motor Yamaha Vixion di Kecamatan Bangkinang Kota., Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalaui questionnaire dan sebagai responden adalah seluruh konsumen yang aktif pada Yamaha Vixion Club (YVC) Chapter Bangkinang sebanyak 30 orang. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Kano. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel kepuasan konsumen dengan 5 dimensi yaitu, kualitas produk, harga, kualitas jasa, emosional serta biaya atau kemudahan. Berdasarkan tanggapan responden bahwa kualitas produk memiliki fungsi linear dengan tingkat kepuasan konsumen. Berbeda dengan harga, bahwa konsumen menjadi tidak puas dengan penetapan harga yang rendah, namun apabila penetapan harga ditingkatkan tidak pula dapat menyebabkan kepuasan konsumen meningkat. Sementara kualitas jasa dan emosional adalah dimensi kepuasan konsumen kejutan (attracive). Artinya, kualitas jasa dan emosional sangat menyenangkan hati konsumen. Karena dianggap sebagai value added atau bonus, sehingga rendahnya pelaksanaan kualitas jasa dan emosional tidak menyebabkan konsumen tidak puas. Sedangkan, biaya atau kemudahan merupakan dimensi yang tidak menghasilkan kepuasan maupun ketidakpuasan konsumen.

Abstract

Dendang Melayu Beach is a public beach that is being developed by the Batam City Government. Although various efforts have been made by the government to increase the number of visitors to this beach, it turns out that the number of visitors has not necessarily increased consistently but fluctuated up and down. Therefore, this research was carried out to further explore the behavior of visitors in the hope that it could become a material evaluation of the government in developing this tourist attraction. This study aims to examine the effect of consumer behavior on the selection of Dendang Melayu Beach tourist attractions. The respondents of this study were 100 tourists who visited the Batam Dendang Beach. The data analysis method used is inductive statistics using multiple linear regression. The results of this study are the four variables of consumer behavior namely cultural, social, personal and psychological factors partially positive and significant effect on the choice of tourist attractions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengenai Analisis Resiko Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) dengan Metode Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya menggunakan Job Safety Analysis (JSA), penilaian risiko, pengendalian risiko, dan pemantauan dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Cladtek Bi-Metal Manufacturing, data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui pengamatan secara langsung, dokumentasi, serta wawancara dengan tujuh orang informan yaitu: HSE Manager, Staff HSE, Safety Officer dan empat orang pekerja Hydrotest Manual. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Langkah dalam melakukan analisis data yaitu mengetahui urutan proses produksi, mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya, mengetahui analisis potensi bahaya dengan Job Safety Analysis (JSA), penilaian resiko, pengendalian resiko, pemantauan dan evaluasi, analisis dan pembahasan, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan PT. Cladtek pada bagian Hydrotest Manual terdapat potensi bahaya dengan rata-rata bahaya resiko sedang, JSA dapat menurunkan resiko kecelakaan kerja, potensi kecelakaan kerja jarang terjadi, dapat mengendalikan resiko dimasa yang akan datang, pemantauan dan evaluasi baik.

Abstract

This research is an event study which aims to analyze the difference of abnormal return and trading volume activity of whole Indonesian Stock Exchange stocks before and after a political event occurring in the country. The object of observation was the announcement of the investment agreement between the Indonesian government and the Saudi Arabian government on March 01, 2017 using indicators of abnormal return and trading volume activity. Population and sample in this research are all the companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange, which are 539 companies. The data used are secondary data of daily closing stock price, IDX composite, daily trading volume and the number of outstanding stocks starting from February 01 to March 29, 2017. The statistical test used to test the hypothesis is paired sample t-test. The results showed that: (1). The investment agreement between the Indonesian government and the Saudi Arabian government has a positive insignificant effect on abnormal return of all IDX stocks simultaneously for the observation period days of 12th, 11th, 09th and 01st. (2). The investment agreement between the Indonesian government and the Saudi Arabian government also has a positive insignificant effect on trading volume activity of all IDX stocks simultaneously for the observation period days of 19th, 18th and 12th.

Abstract

Abstract Almsgiving is one of the pillars supporting the upholding of Islam as the obligation for the adherents to improve horizontal relations between fellow humans and strengthen vertical relations with Allah SWT. The implementation of Islamic Social Responsibility (ISR) of the Islamic Bank gives a positive assessment in sharia agreement, justice and equality, responsibility for work, welfare, guarantee of nature preservation and benevolent assistance that is not profit-oriented. Proper almsgiving management and ISR implementation make Islamic banks trusted by the public in terms of service quality, satisfaction and loyalty of Muzzaki. It reduces bad images, and provides relevant impacts on social welfare and the progress of the era. The data analysis used to test the hypotheses is Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The data is collected by distributing questionnaires to Commissioners and Directors at 14 (fourteen) Islamic Commercial Banks spread throughout Indonesia. The result of this study shows partially prove the role of Islamic bank commissioners in the amsgiving management only, while the importance of the role of directors in Islamic banks in almsgiving management and the implementation of ISR partially.
