Komposisi: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra, dan Seni is an international journal dedicated for the publication of scientific articles in language education, literature, and arts education. It was firstly published on March 2000 with ISSN 1411-3732 in 2007 by Faculty of Language Literature and Arts Universitas Negeri Padang. This journal had ever been changed into Jurnal Bahasa dan Seni during 2004-2013. In 2014 this journal is renamed as Komposisi: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra, dan Seni applies open journal system (OJS) and peer-reviewed online journal in 2017 with Online ISSN 2548-9097.

Abstract

PELANGGARAN SKALA KESANTUNAN BERTUTUR PADA LIRIK LAGU BAPAK KERDUS: KAJIAN PRAGMATIK AbstractThis paper discusses the violation of the scale of politeness told in the lyrics of Bapak Kerdus. The development of songs in the world of music at this time began to not appropriate with propriety like a singer is a child but the song sung is not appropriate to be brought by the child. Early childhood education needs to be implemented to anticipate it. Discussing about the scale means discussing rankings. The scale of politeness is the rank of politeness ranging from the most polite to the very impolite. A very disrespectful thing can lead to a violation of the scale of politeness. Some indicators about the scale of politeness that experts say are Robin Lakoff, Brown and Levinson and Geoffrey Leech, in this paper will use the theory presented by Brown and Levinson. This discussion is based on the view that there is a causality relationship as a form of violation of politeness. The purpose of this study is to describe, discuss in more depth about the violation of the scale of politeness speaks what is contained in the lyrics of Bapak Kerdus song, what are the causes of dishonesty and what kind of insults contained in the lyrics of the song. This study also aims to describe the cause of violation of the scale of politeness of the said. This research applies descriptive qualitative method. The data collected in the form of words, images and not the numbers. This study contains data quotations to illustrate the presentation of the research. The data in this study is the lyrics of the song. The lyrics of the song are referred to as documents. The technique of analyzing documents is content analysis. Content review is technique used to draw conclusions through the discovery of message characteristics, and is done objectively and systematically. Data collection is done by recording the lyrics of songs that are heard from the music player. Keywords: pelanggaran, skala, kesantunan, bertutur , lirik, laguAbstrakTulisan ini membahas pelanggaran skala kesantunan bertutur pada lirik lagu Bapak Kerdus. Perkembangan lagu dalam dunia musik saat ini mulai tidak sesuai dengan kepantasan seperti penyanyi adalah anak-anak namun lagu yang dinyanyikan tidak pantas dibawakan oleh anak tersebut. Pendidikan pada anak usia dini perlu diterapkan untuk mengantisipasi hal itu. Membahas tentang skala berarti membahas tentang peringkat. Skala kesantunan merupakan peringkat kesantunan mulai dari yang paling santun sampai pada yang sangat tidak santun. Hal yang sangat tidak santun dapat menyebabkan pelanggaran terhadap skala kesantunan. Beberapa indikator tentang skala kesantunan yang disampaikan para ahli dantaranya Robin Lakoff, Brown dan Levinson serta Geoffrey Leech, pada tulisan ini akan menggunakan teori yang disampaikan  oleh Brown dan Levinson. Pembahasan ini dilandasi pandangan bahwa terdapat hubungan kausalitas sebagai bentuk dari pelanggaran kesantunan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan, membahas secara lebih mendalam tentang pelanggaran skala kesantunan bertutur apa saja yang terdapat pada lirik lagu Bapak Kerdus, apa saja penyebab ketidaksantunan dan jenis makian apa yang terdapat pada lirik lagu tersebut. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan  penyebab terjadinya pelanggaran skala kesantunan bertutur tersebut. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa kata-kata, gambar dan bukan angka-angka. Penelitian ini berisi kutipan-kutipan data untuk memberi gambaran penyajian pada penelitian. Data pada penelitian ini adalah lirik lagu. Lirik lagu tersebut disebut sebagai dokumen. Teknik menganalisis dokumen adalah analisis isi (content analysis). Kajian isi adalah teknik apa pun yang digunakan untuk menarik kesimpulan melalui usaha menemukan karakteristik pesan, dan dilakukan secara objektif dan sistematis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mencatat kembali lirik lagu yang didengar dari alat pemutar musik.Kata Kunci: Pelanggaran, Skala, Kesantunan, Bertutur , Lirik, Lagu

Abstract

The formulation of competence standard and basic competence for Indonesian language and literature subject is based on four aspects of language skills. But when viewed from the point of the communicative approach in language learning. generally those competencies do not directly address the language components which must be taught again and teacher often do not specify clearly these aspects when developing indicators of basic integrate the three components of learning, namely :1. mastery of language knowledge which also includes a significant mastery of linguistic rules; 2. Four aspects of language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing); 3. A positive attitude towards meaningful Indonesian language and literature which enable student to use language appropriately. Communicative approach in learning the language is emphasized also that language learning is not learning about the language, but learning the language. However, learning the language without learning the rules of language is useless. Therefore, this article would like to try to criticize the imbalance of attention to good language trainings in the four aspects of language skills, supported by a situation that requires students to speak with the correct behavior Key words: Standar kompetensi, kompetensi dasar, pembelajaran bahasa, pendekatan komunikatif, pola pengintegrasian.

Abstract

Ilau dance in Selayo still exists and if there is a man from this village who die in other villages or cities, and the body is rested in the wife or parents house, this dance might be performed. At the time of one hundred days after the man died, Ilau dance is performed to commemorate the good things done by this man. However, this depends also on the families whether they want this dance to be performed or not because they have to kill a cow as the requirement. Actually this is contrary to the religion of Islam, but now it is not a matter of the religion because it has become a culture for society of Selayo.. Key words: Ilau dance

Abstract

This research constitutes the application of learning throught game model while learning science with the topic of floating and drowning objects in an effort to develop the process skills of the learners in kindergarten. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the model of playing game while learning applied in learning sciences can develop process skills of kindergarten students, which include observing, classifying, and communicating the results of the experiment. This classroom action research consisted of two cycles and each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The data were obtained through documentation, observation, and tests. The data were analyzed by using the percentage of learning mastery. The result of research shows that the model of playing game while learning science can improve the process skills of the learners. Then other researchers are suggested to conduct further research with varied learning scenarios and evaluation systems. Key words: playing game, learning science, kindergarten, learning throught game

Abstract

PENGARUH METODE PEER TUTORING (TUTOR SEBAYA) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DITINJAU DARI MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA DALAM MATA KULIAH MENGGAMBAR BENTUK II PADA JURUSAN SENI RUPA FBS UNP PADANGAbstractThe objective of this research was to find out the effect of Peer Tutoring Method on the students’ learning achievement with regards to their motivation in Form Drawing II class. It was a quasi-experiment research employing 2X2 factorial designs. Students at the Department of Fine Arts were the population of the research while the research samples were 60 students, from two different classes, taking Form Drawing II course during July-December 2014 academic term. The data were collected by administering questioners on motivation and administering tests to the students. A two-way variant analysis was used to analyze the data. The research findings were: 1) the students taught by using Peer Tutoring Method got better results than that of those taught by using conventional teaching methods, 2) the students having high motivation gained better achievement than those having less motivation, 3) there was no interaction between Peer Tutoring Method and student motivation on their learning results. For those reasons, lecturers teaching Form Drawing II classes and other courses with similar characteristics are suggested to use Peer Tutoring Method.Keywords: peer tutoring method, learning motivation,                     learning results AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Metode tutor sebaya terhadap prestasi belajar siswa berkaitan dengan motivasi mereka dalam kelas Menggambar Bentuk II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu menggunakan 2X2 desain faktorial. Mahasiswa di Jurusan Seni Rupa menjadi populasi penelitian sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah 60 mahasiswa, dari dua kelas yang berbeda, yang mengambil matakuliah Menggambar Bentuk II selama semester Juli-Desember 2014. Data dikumpulkan dengan pemberian kuesioner motivasi dan pemberian tes kepada mahasiswa. Analisis varian dua arah digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Temuan penelitian adalah: 1) mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan metode peer tutor mendapat hasil yang lebih baik daripada yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan metode pengajaran konvensional, 2) siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi memperoleh prestasi yang lebih baik daripada mereka yang memiliki motivasi kurang, 3) tidak ada interaksi antara metode totor sebaya dan motivasi siswa pada hasil belajar mereka. Untuk itu, dosen yang mengajar kelas Menggambar Bentuk II atau matakuliah lain yang memiliki karakteristik serupa disarankan untuk menggunakan metode tutor sebaya.Keywords: metode tutor sebaya, motivasi belajar, hasil belajar

Abstract

Ada tiga alasan utama mengapa mendengar berita dapat menjadi kegiatan alternatif dalam belajar Listening. Pertama, disamping mendapatkan kemampuan menyimak, mahasiswa juga mendapatkan berita terbaru sesuai dengan topik yang mereka senangi. Kedua, mahasiswa dapat menerapkan beberapa jenis keahlian mendengar melalui berita. Ketiga, makna yang terkandung dalam berita dapat dipahami dengan mudah melalui pertanyaan 5 Ws dan 1 H.  Berita dapat digunakan di kelas Listening melalui tiga tahap yaitu: persiapan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian. Kata kunci: menyimak (listening), berita (news story)

Abstract

The aim of this study analyzed the need for character-filled texts in Indonesian language teaching materials in IPB and identify other character values needed. The method is R & D with the concepts of Dick and Carey and Borg and Gall. The result,  the value of characters sourced from the heart: obedient rules, honesty and order, religious and pious, fair, orderly, responsible, and empathetic; comes from though: creative, intelligent, critical, innovative and oriented ipteks; sourced from kinesthetic: persistent, friendly, cheerful, clean, sportive, and cooperative; sourced from taste, proud to use the Indonesian language, love the homeland, and nationalist. Proposed, there is additional value of confident and anticorruption character. Hasilnya,  nilai karakter yang bersumber dari olah hati taat aturan, kejujuran dan ketertiban, beriman dan bertaqwa, adil, tertib,  bertanggung jawab, dan  berempati; bersumber dari olah pikir kreatif, cerdas, kritis, inovatif dan  berorientasi ipteks; bersumber dari olah raga gigih, bersahabat, ceria, bersih, sportif, dan kooperatif; bersumber dari olah rasa-karsa, bangga  menggunakan bahasa Indonesia, cinta tanah air, dan nasionalis. Usulan, ada tambahan nilai karakter percaya diri dan antikorupsi. Kesimpulan, perlu dikembangkan materi ajar bahasa Indonesia yang memuat nilai-nilai karakter bangsa.Kata kunci: analisis kebutuhan, materi ajar bahasa indonesia, nilai-nilai karakter

Abstract

This study is aimed at analyzing the implementation of the cooperative principles in Avatar cartoon movie.  It was a descriptive study with the content analysis technique. The data were taken from the conversation from the characters in   the Avatar movie. The utterances were grouped into four types of cooperative principles; they are the maxim of quantity, the maxim of quality, the maxim of relation and the maxim of manner. It was found that the utterances among the characters in Avatar cartoon movies both fulfill and violate the cooperative principles. Key words: utterances, conversation, cooperative principles

Abstract

The purposes of this study are: (1) to know the ratings of the most cited authors, (2) to determine what means of bibliography was cited most frequently, (3) to know what subject is often cited and, (4) to know the obsolescence of the cited literature in the undergraduate theses written by students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. The research method used a quantitative approach through bibliometric analysis to determine the characteristics of the papers with citation analysis. The results are (1) the author that is most widely cited is M. Atar Semi, and the top 5 authors that are widely cited are M. Atar Semi, Gorys Keraf, Hendry Guntur Tarigan, Suharsimi Arikunto, and Abdurahman; (2) book (80.24%) is a type of literatures that are most widely cited in the theses; (3) the most favorite subject of the theses is "effective sentences"and, (4) the publication time of literature cited in the theses is 21.4 years.
