Abstract

Over the last 2 decades, Indonesia has brought about many reforms in the world of education, especially universities which have a strategic role in building quality human resources. One important aspect in supporting the university is the funding aspect. One source of funding currently being worked on by Indonesia is an endowment fund. D An endowment fund is a financial asset provided by an institution or organization that is intended for college expenditure. The endowment fund has a very good role for the sustainability of the campus, therefore the endowment needs to be managed effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this research is to identify what aspects can support the effective and efficient management of endowment funds in universities. The method used to answer the research objectives is to use a Systematic Literature Review. As a result of our Systematic Literature Review, there are 8 aspects that support efficient endowment management. Such as synergy of alumni and universities, presenting professional staff to manage endowments, improving institutional aspects of the university, contributing collectively, promoting endowments, providing long-term plans for endowment allocations, Increasing the role of stakeholders, uphold transparency and accountability, and provide information for potential donors

This study uses panel data from 2015 to 2020 in 33 provinces in Indonesia, sourced from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia. Before using the regression, the Chow test and Hausman test were carried out and the estimation results showed that the selected model was the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results showed that: (1) Fishery production has a negative and significant effect on the economic growth of the fisheries sector in Indonesia (2) Fishery exports have a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of the fisheries sector in Indonesia (3) Fish consumption figures have a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of the fisheries sector in Indonesia. Based on the research results, it is suggested that for further research it is necessary to examine other independent factors and variables that influence the economic growth of the fisheries sector.

Abstract

Losing a spouse is one of the most stressful events in a person's life. Meanwhile, stress is one of the triggers for health problems. Using IFLS 2014 as data and logistic regression as a method, we found that depressive symptoms, smoking habits, education level, and living in urban areas have a positive correlation with the probability of widows having poor sleep quality. This can increase the probability of having diabetes and cardiovascular diseases that can lead to death. The support of the closest family is expected to help the widow have better sleep quality.

Abstract

Poverty often serves as an indicator of a country or region's developmental progress. The digital economy is seen as a means to enhance economic self-reliance and national resilience, thereby boosting national competitiveness and fostering economic growth to alleviate poverty. Utilizing time series data from 2008 to 2022 and employing a simultaneous Two-Stage Least Square (TSLS) approach, research findings reveal a bidirectional relationship between poverty and economic growth. The study demonstrates that the E-money variable significantly influences economic growth and, conversely, has a significant impact on poverty rates. This underscores the significance of economic policies aimed at fostering economic growth to combat poverty.
