Abstract

A museum is an institution intended for the general public that collects, cares for, presents, and preserves the community's cultural heritage for study, research, and pleasure or entertainment. The museum is undoubtedly one of the educational places for the community because it has many historical objects. It provides an opportunity to make the museum a vital place to be developed in a virtual form, such as Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality. However, one problem in developing virtual media is the 3D modeling of objects for interior design in museums. LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) is a near real-time 3D positioning technology. A point cloud collects data points in a 3D coordinate system, generally defined by x, y, and z coordinates. Both of these technologies can be used to create 3D object models quickly. The final result of this research is applying LiDAR & point cloud as a 3D modeling technique and assessing the accuracy of using these techniques for 3D modeling of the museum object.

Abstract

Rumah Kost Hj. Gaby is one of the many boarding houses for rent around industrial areas and offices in the Tg. Priok area, North Jakarta. This boarding house still uses a board in front of the house to indicate that the house is rented out for boarding. This method is less effective in promoting the boarding house because prospective tenants must accidentally pass and see the promotion board. The down payment for boarding and monthly rent still has to meet directly with the owner of the boarding house so that it requires special time. The boarding rental information system that is designed is expected to help prospective tenants or tenants to make more practical order and payment transactions, in addition to helping boarding owners tidy up their boarding room rental management The methods used in this research are: interviews, observation, and literacy studies for data collection. Meanwhile, the model used for software development uses the Rapid Application Development Model (RAD). The results of this study are expected to assist boarding owners in promoting their boarding houses and also provide a more effective way of conducting transactions related to the boarding houses.

Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, a natural disaster caused many people to lose their homes, damage to public facilities and infrastructure, and the breakdown of transportation links connecting villagers, especially in 3 districts, namely Sukajaya, Nanggung, and Cigudeg. As a result of the disaster, many villages are isolated, and residents need a lot of logistical support to meet their needs. To overcome these problems, we need a system that can help the government and volunteers interested in the decision-making process so that assistance for victims of natural disasters can be right on target and by the urgency of basic needs and logistics needed. Decision support systems using the TOPSIS method are used to solve multicriteria problems by offering various alternative solutions to solve problems. The results obtained a final preference value of 0.68 from C3 criteria to prioritize residents with closed transportation access to channel disaster relief funds for victims of natural disasters in Bogor Regency.

Abstract

Time series data is interesting research material for many people. Not a few models have been produced, but very optimal accuracy has not been obtained. Neural network is one that is widely used because of its ability to understand non-linear relationships between data. This study will combine a neural network with exponential smoothing to produce higher accuracy. Exponential smoothing is one of the best linear methods is used for data set transformation and thereafter the new data set will be used in training and testing the Neural Network model. The resulting model will be evaluated using the standard error measure Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Each model was compared with its RMSE value and then performed a T-Test. The proposed ES-NN model proved to have better predictive results than using only one method.

Abstract

Javanese script is one of the special characters that need to be studied specifically. At the elementary to high school level in central Java province, there are regional language subjects, namely Javanese language that has Javanese script. Javanese characters are different from the Latin writings used daily, so it requires special understanding and teaching. There are still many students who have difficulty learning Javanese script and limited learning time in elementary school for Javanese language subjects. In addition to helping students to learn Javanese characters more easily, this application is designed so that outsiders can also learn Javanese characters to preserve the culture and love the culture in Indonesia more. The method used in the development of mobile applications is the prototype model with this modelhe author can interact directly with the user so that it can tell the difficulty, provide inputs on what can be set on the application, and what is needed by the user. This application can be useful to learn Javanese characters by utilizing information technology according to the development of the times.

Abstract

Finding the appropriate location is crucial when starting a franchise. The appropriate location will affect the overall business risk and profitability of the franchise. Nevertheless, some franchises have a bankruptcy in running their business. One of the factors that contribute to the bankruptcy of a franchise business is a location that does not meet several criteria that support business success. Therefore, this study aims to propose a decision support system model to determine the location of the franchise based on matching profiles between the actual data value of a location and the value of the location profile expected by the franchisor. The profile matching method has a better level of objectivity because it measures the value of each indicator variable. The criteria for determining the location of a franchise are potential customers, access to location, competition, and costs. The test results show that the decision support system to determine the location of the franchise using the profile matching method meets the functional requirements. This decision support system helps franchises to determine the appropriate when starting a franchise.

Abstract

In recent years, diabetes mellitus in Indonesia has become a health problem in the community because its population has increased 2-3 times faster than in other countries. Diabetes prevalence in Indonesia ranks 4th highest globally after China, India, and the United States. People can prevent complications and premature death if they detect early symptoms of diabetes. However, people do not know that they are at risk of diabetes and do not have knowledge about the symptoms of diabetes, the complexity of the process of diagnosis, and the high cost of examinations. Therefore, we need an application that can provide the results of the type of diabetes and its management solutions as practiced by experts. This research aims to develop an expert system for detecting types of diabetes such as type one diabetes, type two diabetes, neuropathy diabetes, diabetes retinopathy, and diabetes nephropathy. The object of this research is diabetes, which was carried out from March to April 2019 in the Klinik Pratama Desa Putera. This study uses primary data from patients with a history of diabetes at Klinik Pratama Desa Putra and secondary data from literature, research journals, and data documents needed to compile this study. In addition, we generated a knowledge base using forward chaining. The test results show that the expert system meets the functional requirements, and the system performance reaches an accuracy of 100%. This expert system helps people in Indonesia to detect diabetes early so that it can prevent complications.

Abstract

GM Motor Pontianak is a company engaged in the sale and service of motorbikes. Service transaction data processing and motorbike sales are still managed in a simple way, namely recording transactions into a ledger and copied to Microsoft Excel for recapitulation or report presentation. The main problem that becomes an obstacle for the company is that the admin as a transaction data processor often makes mistakes and delays in making a recapitulation of monthly sales transactions, as well as errors in making financial reports. Therefore, this study discusses the design of the accounting information system for purchases, sales, and services implemented at PT. GM Motor Pontianak. The method used in the development of this system is the waterfall model, because the system design is carried out systematically through the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing and support. The resulting accounting information system provides facilities to two users, namely Admin and Director. Admin who can manage account data, spare part brands, spare part data, mechanical data, tariff data, account data, spare part purchase transactions, spare part sales transactions, service transactions, sales and expense transactions. The director can process user data, access spare part stock reports, purchase reports, sales reports, service service reports, mechanical incentive reports, general journal reports, general ledger reports, trial balance reports and income statements. The system built is expected to help PT. GM Motor Pontianak in managing purchases, sales and service transactions and producing financial reports in accordance with financial accounting standards.
