A qualitative approach with a descriptive and analytical case study design is employed. Primary data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, FGDs, and SWOT questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from literature studies and related documents. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive, IFAS, EFAS, and Rangkuti's (2018) SWOT method. The findings reveal that the development of Gomara Swiss Nature Tourism has a positive impact on the local community's economy, such as increased income, the growth of micro-enterprises, and the absorption of local labor. The main strategies recommended include gradual growth through digital promotion and facility development, internal strengthening via community empowerment and local HR training, sustainable product development with a halal ecotourism concept, institutional and partnership reinforcement, and risk mitigation for environmental and socio-cultural sustainability. These strategies aim to foster controlled growth of Gomara Swiss Nature Tourism while maximizing economic benefits for the local community and preserving the environment and local culture. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has indeed made the economy, including banking, experience a decline in performance. The impact of a pandemic is like the case of an economic recession, so banking management must be able to make the right strategy so that the effect is not too big. Banks (including Islamic banks) are more selective in providing loans (financing) because they compete with higher capital, liquidity and reserve requirements imposed since the global financial crisis, besides that there has also been a decline in economic activity. For this reason, research must be carried out to find out the effect of the economic crisis on the performance of Islamic banks such as CAR capital, NPF, FDR and Profitability. The research method used is associative quantitative research, namely research that asks the relationship between two or more variables. The relationship used in this study is a causal relationship. A causal relationship is a causal relationship, which consists of independent variables (variables that influence) and dependent (variables that are influenced). The results of the study show that the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a positive effect on Profitability (ROA). The regression coefficient of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) is -0.020937 meaning that if the Capital Adequacy Ratio increases by 1% it will reduce Profitability (ROA) by -0.020937 assuming other variables are considered constant. Non-Performing Financing (NPF) partially has a positive effect on Profitability (ROA) in Islamic Commercial Banks listed on the IDX for the period 2016 to 2020. Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) has a positive effect on Profitability (ROA) and the results of data processing state that Financing to Deposit Ratio has a positive effect on Profitability (ROA) so hypothesis 3 is accepted. The regression coefficient of FDR is 0.065210 meaning that if the FDR increases by 1% it will increase ROA by 0.065210 assuming other variables are considered constant. Operational Costs and Operating Income (BOPO-Biaya Operasional Dan Pendapatan Operasional) have a negative effect on Profitability (ROA) and the results of data processing state that BOPO have a negative effect on Profitability (ROA), BOPO have increased by 1%, it will reduce ROA by -0.135394 assuming other variables are held constant. Inflation has a positive effect on Profitability (ROA) and the results of data processing state that Inflation has a positive effect on Profitability (ROA). if inflation increases by 1% it will increase Profitability (ROA) by 2.679569 assuming other variables are held constant.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the factors that influence community participation in waste banks. This objective was chosen because as a community movement, the sustainability of waste banks is largely determined by the participation of the community as its customers. The research was conducted quantitatively. The data collected is primary data obtained through interviews with respondents who are members of the Macodes waste bank located in Kedung Waringin Village, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City. There were 30 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using correlation and regression methods. There are 3 (three) factors that are thought to influence community participation in waste banks, namely understanding about waste, the economic benefits of waste banks, and professional and accountable management. The research results show that professional and accountable management is a factor that influences community participation. The other factors are the initial factors or drivers for the community to join as waste bank customers. The implication of this research is to ensure the sustainability of waste banks through community loyalty towards waste banks by having professional and accountable waste bank management. For this reason, it is necessary to provide guidance to waste bank managers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the adoption and use of insurtech applications in Indonesia using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework. The key factors examined include Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions, along with additional variables such as Trust, Convenience, and Regulatory Expectancy. A quantitative method was employed, with data collected through a survey and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Trust significantly influence users' behavioral intention to adopt insurtech applications, while Convenience significantly impacts use behavior but not intention. In contrast, Regulatory Expectancy shows no significant influence on either intention or use behavior. Additionally, age moderates the relationships between certain variables, such as Social Influence, Convenience, and Facilitating Conditions, with both intention and use behavior, whereas gender only moderates the relationship between Social Influence and behavioral intention. In conclusion, application performance, ease of use, and trust are critical factors driving insurtech adoption, while convenience is key to sustaining usage.
