Abstract

Javanese ethnic in Asahan have a unique way to reduce conflict, for example by adopting the "jothaan" attitude or avoiding communication with the disputing parties. They also apply the concept of "nglurug tanpa bala, menang tanpa ngasorake," which encourages a wise resolution of conflict without humiliating the opposing party. This approach aims to maintain the honor of the opponent and avoid the emergence of resentment that can be passed on to the next generation. Javanese families adhere to the concept of dwi tunggal, namely joint power between the father and mother, although the final decision is usually in the hands of the father, which makes this system considered paternalistic. The wife plays an important role, especially in managing the household economy, making her position equal to her husband. This research is a case study using a holistic qualitative approach. With this approach, the emphasis of the study is on providing an explanation of a social phenomenon using other social phenomena and cultural elements that exist and apply in the community concerned. The purpose of this study is to determine the ecological mapping of Javanese families in the Muslim plantation employee community in Asahan Regency. As well as the dynamics of the quality of family functioning in Javanese families in the Muslim plantation employee community in Asahan Regency. From this study it was found that the ecology of Javanese families in the plantation employee community in Asahan Regency experienced changes that were not linear in historical sequence because political geography factors played a role in determining the pattern of community production.

Abstract

A product must have good quality by maintaining or improving its quality to satisfy customers. Good quality tempeh products must meet the standards of SNI 314:2015. Many Tempeh Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) still have been unable to meet it. This study aims to determine the production process that meets the quality requirements of SNI 3144:2015 and is feasible for use as a business. The method used is to compare local tempeh SMEs with tempeh entrepreneurs certified by SNI 3144:2015, as well as laboratory testing. For business feasibility analysis, the aspects analyzed are organizational and management, market and marketing, technical, environmental, legal, and financial aspects. The study results indicate that the quality of tempeh produced by local SMEs has met four of the eight SNI 3144:2015 standards. In the technical aspect, namely the production process, it is necessary to provide wet and dry areas for the production process. Wet area for processes that use much water such as boiling, soaking, breaking soybeans, washing, separating the skin, watering with warm water, cooking, rewashing, and fermentation. Dry area for packaging and fermentation process for tempeh production. The results of the business feasibility analysis, especially in the marketing aspect, show that the best scenario for SMEs is to combine marketing of SNI tempeh products and products without SNI to reach a larger market. The financial aspect analysis shows that Tempeh SMEs with SNI are feasible to run with NVP and IRR values that meet the requirements, and the investment return period is 1 Year 6 Months 19 Days.

Abstract

Grosir Jasa Barona is a wholesaler located in Tuasan, selling various daily necessities including staple goods. The location was chosen due to inventory management issues at the wholesaler, where stock is ordered once a month in quantities predetermined by the owner. Despite this, the inventory often results in overstock or stock shortages. This research aims to assist in establishing proper inventory management at the wholesaler by implementing the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Reorder Point (ROP) methods. The EOQ method was selected to determine the optimal quantity of staple goods to order, while the ROP method helps identify the appropriate timing for reordering. The focus of this study is to improve inventory management at Grosir Jasa Barona. A qualitative approach was used, employing both primary and secondary data, with data collected through direct observation and interviews. The results showed that using EOQ and ROP methods can significantly improve inventory management at this Tuasan-based wholesaler. The implication of this research is that effective inventory management can lead to better cost control and increased profitability for the business.

Abstract

Advances in today's communication technology have allowed people to interact with each other with foreign cultures. So, in the process, it is not uncommon to find cases which are later found to be put into a category where ethics can be neglected at the regional level which is indirect [12]. The Youtube platform, which in the process, has in fact carried out the function of mass media, for example, by having a significant effect as the main supplier of information needs for the audience, will certainly really need creator content that can prioritize ethics. And, to take it further, users are also part of the industry. It becomes a problem when luxury exhibitions are made into content, because there is an element of social inheritance that the Youtube Platform has in terms of the function of mass communication. Where this condition can then be interpreted as the mass media also has a function as an educator by passing on ideas from figures or in other terms, namely transmitting culture. (Littlejohn, 2005) Is it true that luxury exhibitions are one of the topics of study that would be passed on to future generations? Considering that if you use the lens of relative deprivation—where relative deprivation is described as a situation that does not have a match between the realities of life experienced and the definition of a decent life, between expectations for a job and the life experienced [13]—then it becomes a new question. if the phenomenon of showing off luxury carried out by these influencers is then justified. Because vlogs on the youtube platform in the process are then considered to be one of the benchmarks in living life by digital natives who are filled by the younger generation. If the answer is that luxury exhibitions can increase the motivation of users or viewers to work harder, then know that not everyone has access to become rich and can play this luxury. The reason people at the top level work together to maintain the stratification system is that they benefit from the stratification system and the way in which rewards are distributed [23].
