Abstract

In mathematics learning cannot be separated from problems. A problem in mathematics is defined as a problem that does not have a routine procedure to do it. A student will consider a question to be a problem if students have difficulty finding solutions to problems or questions using the knowledge they have. One way to identify the appropriateness of student responses to math problems or problems is the SOLO taxonomy (Structure of Observed Learning Outcomes). SOLO taxonomy is used to measure the quality of students 'answers to a problem based on the complexity of students' understanding or answers to a given problem. This study discusses student responses to math problems. Not only that, this study also discusses how to describe the structure of cognitive complexity or student responses from existing levels based on five stages, namely Prestructural, Unistructural, Multistructural, Relational, and Extended Abstract. The results of the study concluded that each student has a different problem solving response. Overall subject 1 can solve problem solving problems at the multistuctural level. Furthermore, subject 2 can solve problem solving problems at Unistrustural level. Then the latter, the subject cannot solve the problem solving as a whole so that it is at the Prestuctural level. This condition is the goal of this study, where by knowing the student's response to solving math problems, steps can be taken for the success of the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the level of understanding on the low learning outcomes of students during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 1 Rengel-Tuban on circle material. This research is a quantitative research with a sample of 31 students of class VIII E. The data collection technique in this study uses tests. The analytical method used by the researcher is the correlation technique and significance test. Correlation techniques are used to find the relationship between the level of understanding and student mathematics learning outcomes using a formula that has been determined by the researcher. Meanwhile, the significance test is used to prove whether the coefficient generated from the correlation formula can be applied to the population where the sample is taken. The results showed a correlation coefficient of 0.368. This means that there is a relationship between conceptual understanding and student mathematics learning outcomes, but the level of correlation is low. Meanwhile, from the results of the regression analysis to test the null hypothesis through the F test, it was found that the price of Fcount = 4.53 and the price of Ftable = 4.18. Because Fcount > Ftable, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is an influence between understanding the concept and the mathematics learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Clinical supervision can help teachers narrow the gap between ideal teaching and classroom application. The supervision is collaborative in order to improve teacher performance in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to increase the pedagogical and professional competence of teachers at High School 1 Pangkalan Kerinci, in the 2019-2020 school year in two cycles consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research data collected were pedagogical competence data, professional competence and field notes. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. The results of this research indicate that the application of peer clinical supervision can improve the pedagogical and professional competence of teachers at High School 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. Pedagogic competence from first cycle and second cycle has increased by 62.5%. Meanwhile, professional competence from first cycle and second cycle increased by 12.5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas X SMA dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA. 21 siswa kelas X di sebuah SMA di Kecamatan Cibitung, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat menjadi subjek penelitian. Tes kemampuan literasi matematis berupa soal PISA yang diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia diaplikasikan sebagai instrument dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa kemampuan literasi matematis yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas X SMA dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA berada dalam kategori rendah. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa ketidakmampuan siswa dalam menginterpretasikan masalah sebesar 38,09%, ketidakmampuan siswa dalam menerapkan matematika ke dalam masalah sebesar 71,42%, dan ketidakmampuan siswa dalam memformulasikan masalah sebesar 71,42%.

Abstract

Banyaknya warna minimum yang diperlukan dalam pewarnaan busur-busur di H sehingga setiap pasang simpul dapat dihubungkan oleh suatu lintasan yang warnanya berbeda disebut bilangan keterhubungan pelangi dari suatu graf H yang dilambangkan rc(H). Operasi korona menghasilkan graf baru Brn korona Pm yang strukturnya mengambil n salinan dari P1,P2,...,Pn dari Pm dan 1 (satu) salinan dari graf Brn dengan n simpul kemudian menghubungkan simpul dari Brn ke setiap simpul di Pi. Penelitian yang terkait dengan Br4 dan Pm ini mengkaji tentang bilangan keterhubungan pelangi pada graf korona Br4 korona Pm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis pendekatan open ended yang valid untuk memfasilitasi Pemahaman Konsep pada materi Pecahan kelas VII SMP/MTs. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan PPE. Tahapan model pengembangan PPE meliputi planning (Perencanaan), production (Produksi) dan evaluation (evaluasi). Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar penilaian LKS dan lembar soal evaluasi. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dilakukan dengan tahap: planning (Perencanaan), production (Produksi) dan evaluation (evaluasi). 2) Kualitas Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) yang dikembangkan adalah sangat baik dengan persentase keidealan 85,0378%. Oleh karena itu, LKS matematika dengan pendekatan open ended pada pokok bahasan pecahan ini telah valid menurut validator untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

X-bar control chart is one of the means used to resolve problems or detect specific causes that might occur in the production process. When using charts X-bar, there are situations where the average process can diverge. If the average process of the irregularities, it takes a complex approach involving Markov chains to evaluate the properties of graphs X-bar. In this research discusses the performance of the graph X-bar using Variable Parameters and Double Sampling with Markov chain approach. Stages used is determine the state Variables Parameters and Double Sampling, making a transition matrix for Variable Parameter and Double Sampling, determining Average Time of Cycle and Average Time to Signal, comparison test, conclusions and suggestions. By comparing Variables Parameters and Double Sampling obtained a good method to use for a particular situation on the graph X-bar, that is when a small sample size using Variable Parameters and when a large sample size using Double sampling.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kesalahan mahasiswa dalam memecahkan masalah grup tipe High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) berdasarkan gender sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan informasi dosen untuk merancang perkuliahan materi grup yang dapat mengatasi kesulitan mahasiswa karena kesalahan yang dilakukan dalam memecahkan masalah grup tipe High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara berbasis tugas. Wawancara tersebut mengungkap kesalahan mahasiswa berdasarkan prosedur analisis Newman yang dibedakan menjadi lima tipe kesalahan, yaitu reading error (kesalahan membaca), comprehension error (kesalahan memahami), transformation error (kesalahan dalam transformasi), process skills error (kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses), encoding error (kesalahan pada notasi). Data dalam penelitian ini berupa hasil wawancara dan tes masalah grup. Untuk mengecek validitas data dilakukan triangulasi. Adapun triangulasi yang dilakukan adalah triangulasi waktu. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan prosedur analisis Newman yang dibedakan menjadi lima tipe kesalahan, yaitu reading error (kesalahan membaca) sebesar 7 %, comprehension error (kesalahan memahami) sebesar 20 %, transformation error (kesalahan dalam transformasi) sebesar 20 %, process skills error (kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses) sebesar 36 %, dan encoding error (kesalahan pada notasi) sebesar 17 %.

Abstract

Online distance learning (PJJ) has been going on for more than a year. One of the cognitive assessment models to evaluate students learning outcomes in the PJJ process is using the LMS Moodle. The aims of this research were to: 1)determine the implementation of cognitive assessment in the form of multiple choice matrix material for class XI SMA/SMK using LMS Moodle, and 2) find out student responses and perceptions and also what students did in the online cognitive assessment. This research method uses descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique uses observation and documentation techniques on the results of the assessment and indirect interviews wirh students. The non-probability sample interviewed was 143 students taken by quota sampling in class XI DPIB A and B, XI TKJ A and B SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga for the 2021-2022 academic year from a total of 18 classes (635 student). Data analysis was carried out descriptively after the data was sorted and grouped based on the category of each student’s answer. The result obtained from this research indicate that 50,4% of students are ready to face the assessment and 69,3% of students are disciplined in working, 77,6% of students are fluent in accessing the assessment but only 20,3% of students are honest in working without opening notes and or collaborating with other students, 95,9% of students stated that the qustions werw in accordance with the material being taught. In general, the online cognitive assessment of the matrix material based LMS Moodle is practical, effective, easy to use and can be applied to other mathematics materials and other subjects.
