Abstract

This study focuses on the growing food and beverage industry in Indonesia, which contributed considerably to the overall gross domestic product (GDP) of the country and experienced growth of 0.22% in the second quarter of 2020. As people drink more coffee, the coffee shop business has expanded, and Poseidon Coffee in Cikarang is one of the businesses that has benefited from this trend. Despite this, the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant effect on the industry, which resulted in decreasing sales as a direct result of increased government regulations and limitations. Poseidon Coffee's sales have been slowly climbing back up, although they still have not reached the levels they were at before the outbreak. This study seeks to provide recommendations to improve Poseidon Coffee's sales performance by applying digital marketing tactics and expanding their line of food products. These recommendations will be provided as part of this study. The investigation makes use of a thorough methodology, which incorporates such concepts as the Resource Based View, the Segmenting, Positioning, and Targeting model, the Marketing Mix, Porter's Five Forces, Competitor Analysis, and Customer Analysis, amongst others. When developing plans in response to both internal and external analyses, the TOWS Matrix is an invaluable tool. The findings of the research provide significant insights that may be used to address difficulties faced by businesses and increase sales success. Poseidon Coffee intends to capitalize on the growing demand for coffee in Indonesia by using innovative marketing methods in the near future. The company places an emphasis on high-quality products, skilled baristas, and a location that is advantageous for business in order to overcome commercial hurdles. It is vital to engage in promotional activities and social media engagement, in addition to collaborating with local businesses, in order to expand the culinary offers and compete with other businesses that are particularly strong in the area.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an extraordinary impact on all business sectors, including the healthcare industry. This has undoubtedly created a negative stigma towards hospitals and has led to frightening experiences when visiting them. COVID-19 has also changed hospital marketing strategies from offline methods to online methods. Premier Bintaro Hospital is a private hospital located in South Tangerang, which offers excellent services such as an Orthopedic center, spine center, vascular center, stroke center, and arthroplasty. According to internal data from Premier Bintaro Hospital, the number of patient visits has decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the number of visits has not yet returned to pre- pandemic levels. To address this issue, this research was conducted using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The qualitative method involved observation and interviews during the process of business immersion. The quantitative method involved a questionnaire with 162 respondents. This research analyzed business issues using internal and external factors. Internal factors were analyzed using STP analysis, marketing mix 7P analysis, and VRIO analysis. External factors were analyzed using PESTLE analysis, competitor analysis, and customer analysis. The combination of these factors resulted in a SWOT analysis for Premier Bintaro Hospital. The proposed business solution to the problem is to implement strategies using a new STP strategy, an integrated marketing communication strategy, and a social media strategy. All strategies are aligned with the objectives desired by Premier Bintaro Hospital to increase their number of patient visits post-COVID-19 pandemic.

Approximately 46% of Indonesians choose gold as the best investment method. This percentage is the highest compared to other investments, such as mutual funds (32%) and bank deposits (30%). PT EAY, a subsidiary of PT ANTAM Tbk, aims to enter and become a leading player in the retail business of gold, jewelry and domestic microbes. Scenario planning is needed to be able to find out the various uncertainties in the business environment. This study aims to identify the uncertainty factors affecting the gold retail industry and PT EAY over the next five years. This research is qualitative, with seven predetermined profile respondents from each category of stakeholders. The data used is primary data that has been collected through interviews and analyzed. The results of the interviews and analysis show that the most significant factor in the gold retail industry is influenced by two critical uncertainties: economic growth and technology. This study provides conclusions regarding scenarios to overcome future uncertainties and how to implement them. In order to be successful in the gold retail industry, companies must be able to create products that have advantages compared to other competitors and have an effective marketing strategy to expand the target market

Abstract

The Maintenance Period is the period of time for the contractor to maintain the results of the work that has been completed. Construction work during the port maintenance period is often carried out when the port is still operating. This condition provides a greater risk for contractors in carrying out repairs. This study uses a case study on the Kijing Terminal Port Development project, West Kalimantan, which is currently under maintenance. The risk of uncertainty issues that have an impact on project performance is the basis for this research to determine risk factors qualitatively by means of literature studies, distributing questionnaires, validating related parties, then approaching using interviews and FGD (Forum Group Discussion). The results of the FGD were then carried out by analyzing the risk response with several methods to determine the effective level of risk and risk response scenarios were carried out. The results of this study obtained the 4 highest risks, namely, high wave weather conditions and natural disasters, improper waste management, budget discrepancies with maintenance cost allocations, and incompatibility of scope of work during the maintenance period with contract documents. The type of risk response can be carried out with a mitigation plan through proactive and reactive actions in accordance with the financial power you have. Contingency costs of IDR 11,656,043,529.255 or 0.393% of the project value.

Abstract

Before the project runs, initial planning is carried out including schedule planning. The 35 Ton / Hour Boiler Project for 3 Units is a project owned by PT Supreme Paper Solution and appoints CV INTAN WELL as a contractor with a duration of 90 days and a contract value of 4.3 billion. The number of activities and resources required in completing this boiler project so that an optimal scheduling analysis is needed so that there is no project delay so that the contractor does not get a penalty fee and does not have an impact on company production. This research will form a network diagram and WBS, analyse work scheduling with the CPM and PERT methods for reference to systematic and effective installation implementation based on the network diagram that has been made, comparison of project implementation duration between the CPM and PERT methods and form an S-Curve of the selected duration. The results of this schedule planning can be a reference recommendation for project implementation in the field. The results of this study using the CPM method. The Boiler Installation Project can be completed within 90 days. And the critical path lies in activity codes A1, B1, B2, B3, B7, B9, B10, I1, I2, J1. These activities are equipment preparation, Manpower and Safety Person (A1), Support Chain Grate H Beam 150 & Plate 70X70 (B1), Frame Chain Grate & Install Part Chain Grate (B2), Install Boiler Header (Right, Left, Rear Lateral, Middle Lateral) (B3), Install Water Wall Diameter 51mm and Fit Up / Welding Evaporator (B7), Penetrant Test 100% Pipe to Header, Pipe to Drum (B9), X-Ray Water Wall pipe (B10), Flushing & Hydrotest Boiler (I1), Commissioning Test (I2) and Ijin Depnaker (J1). Whereas with the PERTP method the Boiler Installation Project can be completed within a period of 105 days. In this method, duration variant sampling is carried out with probability results for a duration of 90 days = 0.2%, 95 days = 1%, 100 days probability = 12%, 105 days = 50%, 110 days = 88% and 115 days = 99%. In the calculation, it is also found that the critical trajectory in the PERT method is the same as the critical trajectory with the CPM method. This project must be closely monitored, especially critical activities because the s-curve graph rises significantly. So that the planned project duration can be carried out on time.
