Data is collected from publications of Bank Indonesia, the Central Statistics Agency, and the Financial Services Authority. Samples were taken from January 2010 to December 2017. Data were analyzed using Fisher’s exact test, Student's t-test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results identify that Finance to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), inflation, and BI rate have a significant effect on non-performing financing. Based on the results, this study recommends that Islamic commercial banks and Islamic business units need to stabilize their financial ratios.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has slowly changed people's behavior, one of which is making purchases. Many factors influenced a person to make purchases during the pandemic which the Shopee marketplace has responded well by providing various additional features to make it easier for consumers to shop from home. This study aimed to examine whether purchase intention is able to mediate the effect of perceived trust and perceived risk on purchasing decisions at the Shopee marketplace during the current pandemic. Purposive sampling technique was used to determining the sample. The results obtained were that perceived trust and the perceived risk had a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions either directly or through purchase intention as an intervening variable. The recommendation for Shopee is to focus more on minimizing the risk of its consumers, including the risk of being infected with Covid-19.

The article aims to determine the motivation, consequences and efforts to reduce fraud. The socio-economic impact of the scandal determines whether regulation becomes fundamentally tighter. This study uses a systematic literature review approach with a population of 235 articles published in reputable international journals. Based on the predetermined criteria, sixteen articles were obtained as research samples. As many as 62.5 percent of the articles discussed reviewed the Enron case because it was considered a case that shocked the world, involving companies and public accounting firms that were considered independent parties. The urge to commit fraud can be seen from the internal and external aspects of the company. The consequences of fraud that occur can drag the company and auditors as independent parties. The need for efforts to minimize the occurrence of fraud includes improvements to the company, improvements to the criminal and legislative processes and improvements to individual morality.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, exchange rate, investment, and labor force participation on the economic growth of member countries in the ASEAN region. This study uses secondary panel data, namely economic data from ten ASEAN member countries from 2000-2020. Sources of data obtained from the publications of the World Bank. The analytical method used is the panel data regression method fixed-effects model approach with a SUR cross-section weighted. This study indicates that the increase in inflation, investment, and labor force participation can encourage economic growth in the ASEAN Region. Meanwhile, the weakening of the value of the domestic currency (depreciation) has corrected the economic growth of ASEAN member countries.

Abstract

Poverty harms development, so we must address it immediately. The poor in Indonesia are more distributed in rural areas than urban areas, so they must pursue rural development to alleviate poverty. This study aims to analyze the impact of rural development on poverty alleviation in Indonesia. In this study, the Village Development Index (IPD) consists of five dimensions, namely essential services, infrastructure conditions, accessibility, publik services, and governance. The research method uses regression analysis with unit analysis for 434 provinces/cities in Indonesia. The results show that two dimensions, i.e. essential services and publik services have a negatif and significant impact on poverty in Indonesia. Other variables that have a significant impact on poverty reduction in Indonesia are economic growth and the Human Development Index.
