Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of BRILink Agent development in driving local economic growth in Bawen District, Semarang Regency. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with 10 active BRILink agents, field observations, and a review of supporting documents. The findings reveal that BRILink agents expand access to formal financial services, increase the volume of local economic transactions, and create independent business opportunities that strengthen community economic self-reliance. Agents also serve as promoters of financial literacy, although they face challenges such as limited digital infrastructure, initial capital constraints, and low levels of digital literacy among the community. Theoretically, this study reinforces the concept of community-based financial inclusion. Practically, it offers strategic recommendations, including continuous training for agents, provision of capital assistance or light financing schemes, development of internet network infrastructure, and active involvement of local communities in promoting BRILink benefits. Collaboration among BRI, local governments, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and MSME actors is essential to build a sustainable financial inclusion ecosystem, broaden banking service access, and comprehensively support village-based economic growth.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan komponen penting bagi setiap perusahaan dalam mencapai targetnya. Budaya organisasi berperan penting dalam menentukan perkembangan suatu organisasi, sementara komitmen organisasi berdampak positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Tingkat employee engagement yang tinggi dapat meningkatkan produktivitas serta mendukung profitabilitas perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 122 karyawan PT. Sumber Bintang Rejeki, Kabupaten Semarang, sebagai sampel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS, meliputi uji validitas dan reliabilitas untuk menguji instrumen penelitian. Selain itu, dilakukan uji hipotesis untuk mengonfirmasi diterima atau ditolaknya hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi, komitmen organisasi, dan employee engagement berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya membangun budaya organisasi yang kuat, menjaga tingkat komitmen yang tinggi, serta mendorong keterlibatan karyawan sebagai upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tenaga kerja dan keberhasilan organisasi.

Abstract

Taxes are the main source of state revenue, contributing over 70% to the national budget, making individual taxpayer (WPOP) compliance crucial for national development. This study analyzes the influence of modern tax administration systems, service quality, and tax sanctions on WPOP compliance at KPP Madya Medan. Using a quantitative approach with data from 2018–2022, the results show that all three variables positively affect tax compliance. Digital systems simplify reporting, good service enhances comfort, and strict sanctions promote discipline. The findings highlight the need for an integrated approach combining technology, service improvement, and fair law enforcement. Practical implications include the importance of digital education, better service delivery, and consistent sanction implementation to sustainably improve tax compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors shaping guest emotional loyalty at the Windsor Toya Hotel, Japan, through a qualitative case study with thematic analysis, emphasizing the emotional dimension and personal experiences of guests. Using a qualitative approach and thematic analysis of guest narratives, the results show that loyalty is not solely dependent on the quality of physical facilities, but is primarily influenced by emotional aspects such as the personal touch of the staff, genuine interactions, an exclusive atmosphere, and the perceived prestige of the hotel. The findings indicate that loyalty is primarily influenced by the personal touch of the staff, interpersonal interactions, and the exclusive image of the hotel. The location by Lake Toya also enhances memorable guest experiences. These results confirm that emotional loyalty, not merely transactional loyalty, is key to sustainable guest relationships. This study emphasizes the importance of personalized service strategies and experience-based storytelling for luxury hotels.

Abstract

Pemilu 2024 dilaksanakan 14 Pebruari 2024 diikuti oleh 3 pasang calon terdiri dari Anies Bawesdan-Muhaimin, Prabowo-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, dan Ganjar Pranowo-Mahmud MD. Persitiwa  Pemilihan presiden tentu menarik perhatian masyarakat, terlebih media massa yang salah satu fungsinya adalah memberikan informasi. Old Media dan New Media memberitakan peristiwa debat calon presiden dari berbagai sudut pandang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana framing agenda setting media surat kabar Kompas terhadap peristiwa debat calon presiden yang berlangsung sebanyak 3 kali. Debat Capres juga disiarkan langsung oleh beberapa stasiun televisi di Indonesia. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan studi kepustakaan. Obyek penelitian berupa teks berita debat calon presiden yang dimuat di surat kabar Kompas dengan judul Perdebatan Seru, tapi Konten Masih Normatif, Beda Gaya Komunikasi Tiga Capres Makin Terlihat, dan Debat Pamungkas, Capres Lebih Hati-Hati.  Subyek penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis framing Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki yang meliputi 4 elemen struktur yaitu struktur sintaksis, skrip, tematik dan retoris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa framing media Kompas tidak menggiring dan mempengaruhi opini publik untuk memilih pasangan calon presiden tertentu. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kompas mendorong opini publik untuk memikirkan siapa yang terbaik diantara ketiga calon tersebut untuk dipilih.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand ambassadors, product quality, and brand image on purchase decisions, as well as to examine the impact of brand ambassadors and product quality on brand image. In addition, the study explores the mediating role of brand image in the relationship between brand ambassador and product quality on purchase decisions among consumers of Clear Shampoo in Medan City. The population of this study consists of Medan City residents who have purchased Clear Shampoo, with a total sample of 100 respondents. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires, and data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with the SmartPLS software. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that brand ambassador and product quality variables explain 61.5% of the variance in brand image, while brand ambassador, product quality, and brand image collectively explain 64.7% of the variance in purchase decisions. Thus, it can be concluded that brand ambassador, product quality, and brand image play a significant role in influencing consumer purchase decisions for Clear Shampoo products.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi harga, fasilitas, lokasi, dan promosi terhadap keputusan penyewaan Gedung Serba Guna di Ungaran. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 74 responden, terdiri dari calon penyewa dan penyewa aktif. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda untuk mengukur kontribusi masing-masing variabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa keempat variabel independen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan penyewaan, dengan nilai Adjusted R² sebesar 0,854 dan signifikansi di bawah 0,05. Persepsi harga yang sesuai dengan nilai yang dirasakan menjadi faktor dominan dalam menarik minat penyewa. Fasilitas yang lengkap memberikan kenyamanan dan meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna. Lokasi strategis dan mudah diakses turut memperkuat keputusan penyewaan. Promosi yang efektif juga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran calon penyewa terhadap keberadaan dan keunggulan gedung. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kombinasi strategi harga, peningkatan fasilitas, pemilihan lokasi, dan promosi yang tepat dapat meningkatkan daya saing serta tingkat hunian gedung. Oleh karena itu, pengelola Gedung Serba Guna di Ungaran disarankan untuk terus mengoptimalkan keempat aspek tersebut secara berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan keputusan penyewaan dan loyalitas konsumen.

Abstract

Setelah masa pandemi COVID-19, tingkat hunian hotel di Indonesia mulai mengalami peningkatan, memberikan peluang optimis bagi para pelaku industri perhotelan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 153 pengunjung Hotel Fovere Bandara Semarang dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linear ganda melalui perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel harga memiliki pengaruh paling signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, dibandingkan dengan kualitas produk dan pelayanan yang juga memberikan kontribusi positif, namun dengan pengaruh yang lebih rendah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa strategi penentuan harga yang kompetitif menjadi kunci utama dalam meningkatkan tingkat kepuasan konsumen di hotel tersebut. Selain itu, kualitas produk dan layanan tetap menjadi aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan untuk mempertahankan loyalitas pelanggan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi manajemen hotel untuk lebih memprioritaskan pengelolaan harga sekaligus menjaga kualitas produk dan pelayanan demi meningkatkan kepuasan dan daya saing di industri perhotelan yang semakin kompetitif.

Abstract

This study aims to thoroughly examine the role of social media in the formation of cultural identity among university students in Semarang Regency. Using a qualitative approach through a case study method, this research explores how students utilize social media as a medium to express, reinforce, and preserve their local cultural values, including traditions, regional languages, and cultural practices, while simultaneously interacting with influences from global cultures. The findings reveal that the majority of students actively use various social media platforms to showcase cultural content rooted in their regions, making social media not only a space for social communication but also a cultural negotiation arena. This process results in a hybrid cultural identity, a dynamic blend between authentic local values and adopted and adapted global cultural elements. Besides offering significant opportunities for digital cultural preservation and development, social media also presents challenges in the form of cultural value conflicts requiring adaptation skills, selective filtering, and critical reflection from students as cultural agents. The study recommends that students use social media wisely and critically to maintain the authenticity and sustainability of local culture, while educational and cultural institutions should actively support the innovative use of social media as a means to preserve and develop culture. These findings contribute important insights into the dynamics of cultural identity amid the evolving digital and globalized era.

Abstract

This study analyzes the Pandawara Group’s social movement via sosial media from an ecomedia and political ecology perspective. The focus is on examining how this movement emerged and operates within the landscape of power, economy, and media, as well as how the group utilizes social media to communicate environmental issues and mobilize public participation. This qualitative research employs ecomedia theory, specifically the political ecology perspective as explained by Lopez (2024), which encompasses aspects of creation, function, audience, media ecosystem, and funding sources. Data was collected through literature studies, observation, and documentation of the Pandawara Group's digital assets. The findings show that the Pandawara Group is an ecomedia social movement that was created organically in response to environmental pollution. Its goal is to raise awareness, and it has successfully mobilized public participation through social media. The movement operates within the dynamics of political ecology by interacting with various actors and utilizing diverse funding sources, including sponsorships. In conclusion, the Pandawara Group demonstrates how a social movement can leverage ecomedia and operate within the dynamics of political ecology to address environmental issues.
