Abstract

Padi sawah (Oriza sativa L) merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang menghasilkan sumber pangan pokok bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Keberhasilakn usaha peningkatan produksi padi sawah sangat bergantung pada daya dukung dan kemampuan petani sebagai pengelola usaha tani, antara lain menyediaan modal, tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dimiliki petani serta luas kepemilikan lahan garapan yang dikelola petani. Kendala dalam peningkatan produksi tanaman padi antara lain serangan hama dan penyakit tanaman yang menyerang tanaman sejak dipersemaian sampai menjelang panen. serangan hama dan penyakit ini dapat mengurangi hasil produksi baik kalitas maupun kuantitas sampai mengakibatkan kegagalan panen. Oleh karena itu upaya pengendalian serangan hama dan penyakit perlu mendapat perhatian yang serius agar produksi dapat dipertahankan dan petani memperoleh keuntungan dalam mengelola usahanya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa usahatani dengan penerapan PHT mengeluarkan biaya total sebesar R. 5.276.930,60,- per hektar dan menghasilkan penerimaan Rp. 8.050.900,53,- per hentar , sehingga diperoleh keuntungan sebesar Rp. 2.773.969,93,- per hektar. Adapun tingkat efisiensi usahatani yang menerapkan PHT tingkat efisiensinya (RC) sebesar 1,53. Begitu pula dilihat dari kelayakan usahanya (renatabilitas) memperoleh 52,57 lebih tinggi dari bunga bank sebesar 6 persen per musim. Hal ini menunjukkan usahatani yang menerapkan PHT dalam usahanya layak untuk dikembangkan.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find the best combination of plant spacing and organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of maize (Zea mays L.) Pertiwi-3 in Jatinangor. The experiment was carried outin Ciparanje experimental field on November 2016 to March 2017. The experiment used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) which consisted of  six treatments and four replications, which were the plant spacing  20cmx20xmx75cm + 5t/ha compost, 25cmx25cmx75cm + 5t/ha compost, 30cmx30cmx75cm + 5t/ha compost, 20cmx20cmx75cm + 5t/ha cow manure, 25cmx25cmx75cm + 5t/ha cow manure and 30cmx30cmx75cm + 5t/ha cow manure. The result of the experiment showed that the best result of 100 dry seeds weight was in the treatment of plant spacing 20cmx20cmx75cm + 5t/ha cow manure with a weight of  45,19g. The highest score of Leaf Area Index (LAI) was in the treatment of plant spacing 20cmx20cmx75cm + 5t/ha cow manure score of 2,92 was not significantly different from the treatment of plant spacing 20cmx20cmx75cm + 5t/ha compost with score of 2,82.

Abstract

Watermelon is an annual horticultural commodity that is easily damaged (perishable) so it must be consumed in a fresh state and must be marketed after harvest. Opportunities to increase production and productivity of watermelon in Indonesia are still very wide open both through the intensification and improvement of agricultural technology. The purpose of this study is to study and obtain the type of pruning that provides the highest production in hydroponics watermelon cultivation Fertigation system. The experiment was conducted at Screen House Mekarsari Fruit Garden Bogor Regency. from April to Augustus 2018. The research method used is experimental method and experimental design used is Single Factor Random Design, which consists of 9 treatments in 3 repetitions. The usual is a combination of two types of cutting (Toping and Pruning) and three watermelon varieties (Amara F1, Angela F1, and Batu Sengkaling). The data of the research using the analysis of variance based on F test of 5% level. If there is a real difference, the analysis is continued with DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) test of 5% level.The results showed that the application of the cutting type had a significant effect on the stem diameter of 21 HST, 28 HST, and 35 HST, flowering age, harvest age, fruit diameter, and fruit weight per plant, three watermelon varieties in the hydroponic fertigation system. Application of Toping Trimming on Amara F1 Varieties provides the highest watermelon yields of 39, 24 tonnes per hectare or 8.24 kg per plant in the hydroponic fertigasi system.

Abstract

Kawasan waduk merupakan perpaduan daerah dataran tinggi dan perairan. Kegiatan wisata di kawasan waduk adalah bagian dari ekowisata yang mengetengahkan keindahan alam, aktivitas, dan atraksi tertentu sebagai daya tariknya. Penelitian ini  bertujuan  untuk mengidentifikasi  potensi ekowisata Waduk Jatigede  dan rencana pengelolaan ekowisata waduk Jatigede berbasis sumberdaya lokal. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian adalah di Kecamatan Wado, Darmaraja, dan Jatigede. Informan penelitian adalah anggota masyarakat dan stakeholder di tingkat desa dan kecamatan. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa Waduk Jatigede Sumedang memiliki  sumberdaya lokal  yang potensial untuk dikembangkan sebagai ekowisata. Beberapa  atraksi wisata, diantaranya wisata tirta, wana wisata, wisata seni budaya, agrowisata, wisata olahraga, bumi perkemahan dan wisata ziarah. Sebagai implikasinya, diperlukan kebijakan pengembangan ekowisata  berbasis sumberdaya lokal. Penulis mendorong keterlibatan masyarakat secara penuh dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaanya  ekowisata tersebut agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan budaya masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

The use of local microorganisms in the composting process will influence the final outcome compost or different according to the dominant species of microorganisms contained in the local microorganisms. This indirectly will respond differently to the growth and quality of radish tubers produced. Formulation of the problem of the research is as follows: How is the interaction between the use types of microorganisms locally in the process of composting organic material and harvesting time in the cultivation of rapeseed for the quality of radish, what type of microorganisms local and harvest time how many days after planting gives the crop rapeseed best. The research was conducted in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Winaya Mukti University. Experimental approach using experimental design factorial randomized block design consists of the first factor of compost a wide treatment with different local microorganisms, consists of five levels, and the second factor of different harvesting time which consists of four levels that are repeated twice. The results showed local Microorganisms snails on composting give significantly different results on the length and weight of tuber tubers radish Var. Greenbow, while the quality of radish tubers obtained from harvesting time at the age of 53 HST.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan bahan pengawet sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas bunga potong anyelir kultivar Red Sims adalah efektif. Bahan pengawet yang diformulasi dari  senyawa sukrosa  + asam sitrat + lisol + perak tiosulfat yang telah dibuat menjadi bentuk sediaan suspensi dengan penambahan penyuspensi cmc, akan dikaji dalam keefektifannya dalam percobaan. Percobaan menggunakan Acak Kelompok dwi faktor, yaitu takaran susfensi dan lama susfensi tersimpan yang akan ditambahkan ke dalam air perendam sebelum bunga potong tersebut diperagakan. Peubah yang diamati adlah umur peragaan, diameter mekar maksimum, dinamika perkembangan bobot segar relatif dan serapan air relatif 2- harian. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa takaran susfensi 50 mlL-1 dan tersimpan tiga bulan adalah terbaik terhadap semua peubah yang diamati.

Abstract

One effort to maintain forest fungtions from futher damage is to establish and maintain conservation areas, both micro dan macro. Darmaloka conservation area in Kuningan Regency is a micro conservation area to keep preserve by functioning and managing the area. This study aimed to : (1) studying the function of Darmaloka conservation area seen from the diversity of vegetation, wildlife and water management, (2) assessing the running Darmaloka conservation area management. The study was conducted in Darmaloka corsevation area, from July to October 2010. Materials and equipment used were sketch of the area location, measuring tools, calculators, stationery, and ather supporting materials and tools. Data were collected by direct observation such as vegetation, bird, fish and water system, as well as interviews. Method of data analysis applied analysis vegetation, inventory of bird, fish density and the dischage and water quality. The results showed, there were seven types in Darmaloka conservation area, but none of them were seedlings, saplings and poles. Species Binuang (Octomeles sumatrana) dominated Darmaloka conservation areas, and the stability classified as moderate. In this area, there were 5 (five) bird species categorized rare (endangered) to medium, sacred white-Kancra fish with 5 fisher/m2 in density, catfish, and quite a lot Beunteur fish. Water discharge was about 2,94 l/sec, and the quality was good (netral). Viewed from tradition, this region well managed and controlled, but viewed from modern management, this region not regarding properly yet. It could be seen from the absence of a clear plan regarding the management of the area. The management organization was also very simple and there werenot basic clear tasks and functions amongts organization units yet.

Abstract

Agricultural commodity trading generally involves various groups of traders such as village traders, district traders, district traders, inter-provincial traders and retailers in consumer areas. This market system can occur due to lack of competition among village traders and limited number of traders. Even if the number of traders that involved quite a lot but in its activities the traders are often controlled by one or several traders. This research includes quantitative research by using time series data of price of curlychili in Cikajang production center, Caringin Wholesale Market, Gedebage Wholesale Market and Kramat Jati Wholesale Market in 2014 and data of price development and production of red curry pepper in 2009-2014, data analysis used is Eviews 8 Program. The price growth model at the wholesale for the lowest initial price was PIC (y = 10592 + 154.48x), highest PIG (y = 10759 + 180.03x). In this case the price at the highest PIG, indicating the channel price of the PIC and PIKJ (y = 11245 + 169.21x). The price growth model stated that price developments in 4 places, at fluctuating prices can be illustrated by the growth model, although a stable price is something to be expected with a variety of factors that are in fact difficult to achieve. The fixed price growth model remains the lowest price in production centers or farmers.

Abstract

Suatu penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan mempelajari pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah varietas Kidang akibat aplikasi konsentrasi pupuk organik Cair (POC). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Praktek SPP-SPMA Cianjur Kecamatan Cilaku Kabupaten Cianjur dengan ketinggian tempat 450 m di atas permukaan laut dan ordo tanah Inceptisol.  Penelitian ini bersifat verifikatif dengan melakukan percobaan dengan menggunakan rancangan lingkungan Rancangan Acak Kelompok.  Perlakuan percobaan adalah konsentrasi POC yang terdiri atas lima perlakuan, yaitu tanpa POC, 1 ml L-1, 2 ml L-1, 3 ml L-1, dan 4 ml L-1.  Tiap perlakuan diulang lima kali.  Hasil percobaan menunjukkan  bahwa aplikasi konsentrasi POC memberikan efek berbeda terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun trifoliatus, jumlah polong per tanaman, persentase polong bernas, bobot polong bernas per tanaman dan per petak, bobot biji kering per tanaman dan per petak serta bobot 100 butir biji.  Aplikasi POC dengan konsentrasi 4 ml L-1 memberikan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun lebih baik tetapi terhadap komponen hasil dan  hasil tanaman kacang tanah efeknya sama dibandingkan dengan aplikasi POC dengan konsentrasi 2 ml L-1 dan 3 ml L-1.

Abstract

The objective of this experiment was to study the effect nitrogen fertilizer dose on growth and yield of Caisin plant (Brassica junceae L.) var. Shinta. An experiment was carried out at Experimental Station of Agriculture Faculty of Winaya Mukti University at Tanjungsari-Sumedang, with the altitude about 850 m above sea level, from February 2015 up to March 2015. Experimental design used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD), consisted of five treatment and each five replication. Dose of nitrogen (N) fertilizer tested namely : A = 0 kg ha-1 N, B = 10 kg ha-1 N, C = 20 kg ha-1 N, D = 30 kg ha-1 N, dan E = 40 kg ha-1 N. The result of this experiment showed that dose of nitrogen fertilizer be different influential on plant height at 28 Days After Planting (DAP) and 35 DAP, number of leaf at 35 DAP, weight of total dry matter per plant and weight of fresh per plant.  Dose of nitrogen fertilizer 20 kg ha-1- 30 kg ha-1 give better effect on plant height at 28 Days After Planting (DAP) and 35 DAP, number of leaf at 35 DAP, weight of total dry matter per plant, and weight of fresh per plant. The optimum nitrogen fertilizer rate as much as 24.59 kg ha-1 give a weight per plant caisin maximum of 76.04 g
