Several factors have been identified in the literature as affecting SME performance, in particular ability to access finance. Access to finance is in turn influenced by variables in both the enterprise’s internal and external environment. It is held that SMEs are unable to access external finance because they are not investment ready. They lack the necessary information and knowledge of their businesses to approach finance providers or to be successful in accessing funds if they do. Face-to-face interviews using structured questionnaire were conducted to collect primary data from 407 SMEs operating in the trading sector in 3 provinces-Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Khon Kan. Results of the structural equation modeling (SEM) reveal that quality of financial information has significant positive effect on performance and on owner-managers’ perception of their ability to access external capital. A significant positive effect of ability to access capital on performance was also found.Key Words: Ability to access external finance, performance.

Competition within banking industries has been tighter lately. Banks, including BNI Bank, are required to improve their services which are more customer satisfaction oriented. Market share of Bandung branch of BNI Bank steadily decreases in the last several years. This indicates that its image is relatively low due to its service quality which is of considerably unsatisfied. The study is aimed at analyzing factors (i.e., service quality and customer relations) influencing firm image (i.e., BNI Bank Bandung Branch). Primary data were collected from respondents, who were randomly selected from customers of the bank, using a valid and reliable questionnaire. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Results of the study indicated that image of the bank was significantly affected by both service quality and customer relations, either partially or simultaneously. It was found that customer relations are much more important than that of service quality in influencing firm image.Key words: service quality; customer relations; firm image

Mining investment in Indonesia increased foreign exchange earnings for the country, the creation of jobs. Investment as the main driver and is the key in the concept of the economy and job creation and poverty reduction. This study was to determine the effect of investment, labor mining sector to the Gross Regional Domestic Product without Oil and Gas Mining Sector. The data used is secondary data, investment, labor and mining sector Gross Domestic Product Without Oil and Gas Mining Sector from 2000 to 2012. The analytical method used is regression analysis using SPSS 17.0.Based on the analysis we can conclude the mining sector investment has positive influence on the Gross Regional Domestic Product without Oil and Gas Mining Sector. The mining sector workforce has positive influence on the Gross Regional Domestic Product without Oil and Gas Mining Sector. Investment and mining sector workforce together a positive effect on the Gross Regional Domestic Product without Oil and Gas Mining in Indonesia. Keyword: Investment, Labor, Gross Domestic Product

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis 1) kondisi penagihan pajak, surat paksapajak dan penerimaan pajak penghasilan badan pada Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP)Pratama di lingkungan Kanwil DJP Jakarta Pusat, dan 2) pengaruh penagihan pajakdan surat paksa pajak baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial terhadappenerimaan pajak penghasilan badan pada KPP Pratama di lingkungan Kanwil DJPJakarta Pusat. Survei dilakukan pada kantor pelayana pajak pratama Jakarta pusatdan unit analisis adalah data skunder berupa laporan penerimaan PPH badanperiode tahun 2003 s/d 2008. Data dilanalisis dengan analisa jalur dan regresiberganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Penagihan pajak di setiap KPP PratamaKanwil DJP Jakarta Pusat secara umum sudah dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur dantata cara tindakan penagihan, surat paksa pajak juga secara umum masih rendah 2)Dalam kurun waktu selama 5 (lima) tahun yaitu tahun 2003 sampai dengan 2007,jumlah penerimaan Pajak Penghasilan (PPh) badan di KPP Pratama Kanwil DJPJakarta Pusat terus mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun, dan 3) penagihanpajak dan surat paksa pajak baik secara simultan maupun secara parsialberpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap penerimaan Pajak Penghasilan (PPh) Badan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sistem pengendalian internal penggajian, beban kerja dan sarana prasarana terhadap kepuasan gaji di SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta. Data diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada guru dan karyawan SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta sebanyak 44 kuesioner yang kembali 100% dan dapat diolah. Dengan menggunakan teknik regresi linear berganda, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sarana prasarana mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kepuasan gaji, sedangkan sistem pengendalian internal penggajian dan beban kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan gaji. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengalisis pengaruh parsial dan simultan komunikasipemasaran dan relasi pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Objek penelitianadalah Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) di bank Jabar Banten. Suatu surveydilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data di kantor cabang Padalarang, dengan respondenadalah pengusaha UKM yang merupakan nasabah bank. Kuesioner menjadiinstrumen penelitian dan disebarkan kepada responden. Data yang terkumpuldianalisis menggunakan uji statistik F dan t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwakomunikasi pemasaran dan relasi pelanggan secara simultan mempengaruhi loyalitaspelanggan. Relasi pelanggan memiliki pengaruh parsial yang paling dominanterhadap loyalitas pelanggan.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kinerja keuangan pada saatkrisis dengan pasca krisis. Pengamatan dilakukan selama tahun 1998-2005 pada 9bank Indonesia. Peringkatan dilakukan berdasarkan metode CAMELS. Rasiokeuangan yang digunakan adalah Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return of RiskAsset (RORA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Asset (ROA), Loan to DepositRatio (LDR) dan Interest Expense Ratio (IER). Data dianalisis berdasarkan uji beda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beda nyata pada CAR, RORA, ROA danIER sebelum dan pasca krisis.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi persepsi harga yang ditawarkan didua toko ritel besar, yaitu took ritel Carrefour dan Giant dii Jl. Margonda RayaDepok. Data diikumpulkan menggunakan teknik survey. Kuesioner digunakansebagai instrumen penelitian, dan didistrbusikan ke konsumen yang melakukanpembelian barang kebutuhan sehari-hari pada kedua toko. Data yang terkumpuldiolah menggunakan teknik statistik, yaitu teknik multi level persamaan struktural.Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang nyata persepsi harga yangditawarkan pada kedua toko.

Of multi steps needed to maintain the quality of chrysanthemum flowers , transportation is of concern as it is related to shipping time and storage temperature during shipping. Those two factors has implications for loss of quality when performed incorrectly and further will reduces the commercial value of these products.In general, the selection of transportation vehicles is important in order to maintain chrysanthemums quality up to destination without causing significant damage. The purpose of the study is thus optimizing the cost of transporting chrysanthemum flowers. Optimization is done using the concept of time-based transportation simulation model. The results showed that changes of transport vehicles capacity and shift of the end point has very significant in influencing total cost of chrysanthemum flower delivery. Shift of the end point can be done through investment in technology, such as through the provision and maintenance of storage media during the shipping processtaking place. The model shows that the total cost of chrysanthemum flowers delivery can be minimized through increasing in capacity of transport vehicles and technology investments.Key words: delivery time, quality, chrysanthemum flower, total minimum cost Salah satu tahap yang perlu diperhatikan dalam mempertahankan mutu bunga krisan adalah saat pengangkutan, karena berkaitan dengan waktu pengiriman dan suhu ruang penyimpanan selama pengangkutan. Kedua faktor berimplikasi ke pengiriman bunga krisan. Pergeseran titik akhir dapat dilakukan melalui investasi teknologi, yaitu melalui pengadaan dan perawatan media penyimpan selama prosespengiriman berlangsung. Model menunjukkan bahwa biaya total pengiriman bunga krisan dapat diminimumkan melalui kenaikan kapasitas kendaraan angkut dan investasiteknologi.Kata kunci: waktu pengiriman, kualitas bunga krisan, total biaya minimum
