Abstract

Learning motivation can influence high or low learning outcomes. To increase motivation and learning outcomes, appropriate models and media are needed. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education regarding rules and norms by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by animated videos. In this lesson, students are directed to solve problems from videos shown by the teacher with the following syntax: orientation of students to the problem, organization of students, guided individual and group investigations, developed and presented results, analyzed and evaluated the process and results of problem solving. The subjects in this research were 26 class IV students at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta. The data obtained in this research through tests, interviews and observations were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The indicator of this success is an increase in the average motivation and learning outcomes in each cycle up to the target set by the researcher. The results of this research show that the application of the PBL model is able to increase student motivation with the average observation results in cycle I = 76.50% and cycle II = 90.86%. The average interview result in cycle I= 57.66% and in cycle 2= 87.40%. Apart from that, it can also improve student learning outcomes regarding the rules and norms of learning Pancasila education. Pre-cycle data shows an average learning outcome of 64.04%, increasing to 73.65% in cycle 1, and increasing in cycle 2 to 86.54%. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model assisted by animated videos can increase student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study is a classroom action research that aims to determine the effect of applying the Team Gemes Tournament (TGT) learning model on improving student collaboration skills. This research was carried out in the VA class of SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari in the first semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year with a total of 11 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. The data collection methods in this study are documentation methods, and observation. The collaboration ability of learners is observed through the application of observation methods. The existence of data analysis techniques using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques based on increasing the average level of collaboration skills of learners in each cycle serves as an indicator of research success. The results showed that the pre-cycle obtained the average results of student collaboration skills of 49.58% with sufficient criteria, then the first cycle increased by obtaining an average of 68.80% with good criteria, and the second cycle obtained an average of 82.23% with very good criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model can improve students' collaboration skills.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to evaluate the impact of implementing the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on increasing learning achievement and collaboration between students. This research was carried out in class IVA at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 29 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. The data collection methods in this research are test, questionnaire and documentation methods. The test method is used to determine student test results. The questionnaire method is used to observe student collaboration. Documentation method for student test result data, observation sheets and modules. The data analysis techniques used include quantitative and qualitative approaches, by assessing the success of the research based on the increase in average learning achievement and the level of collaboration between students in each cycle. The results of the research showed that student collaboration at the pre-cycle stage achieved results of 20.68% with 0% of students or none being able to collaborate very well. Then the first cycle experienced an increase, namely obtaining learning completeness of 68.9% with 28 % of students are able to collaborate very well. Cycle II achieved 100% learning completeness with 62% of students able to collaborate very well. Therefore, it can be concluded that using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model with the help of learning videos can improve learning achievement and collaboration between students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by student cooperation that has not appeared during the learning process in fifth grade students of SD Negri Kleco 1 Surakarta. This study aims to describe the application of the TGT type cooperative learning model to improve the cooperation of fifth grade students of SD Negri Kleco 1 Surakarta. the research method used is class action research (PTK). The research subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negri Kleco 1 Surakarta, totaling 20 students. The data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaire. Data analysis used quantitative analysis of data from pre-cycle results, cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that in pre-cycle observations with an average of 2.0 included sufficient criteria, in cycle I an average value of 2.6 included good criteria and cycle II an average value of 3.3 included very good criteria. And in the results of the questionnaire the level of student cooperation in the pre-cycle, the average student cooperation was 62.4%, included sufficient criteria, increased by 11.6% in cycle I to 74% included good criteria and cycle II increased by 8.8% to 82.8% included very good criteria. The increase in student cooperation from pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II shows the success of student cooperation when using the TGT learning model, so the use of the TGT type cooperative learning model can improve student cooperation.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance students' learning outcomes and self-confidence in Pancasila Education through the implementation of the Project Based Learning model in class 4D at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. The Action Research method is employed, consisting of two cycles: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection involves observation, tests, and documentation, utilizing instruments such as test questions, observation sheets, and photo documentation. Data are analyzed descriptively comparatively and validated through triangulation. Learning outcome indicators focus on the cognitive domain, while self-confidence indicators include asking questions, acting without hesitation, trying new things, participating, and feeling comfortable. The research involves 21 students in class 4D. The results indicate an improvement in learning outcomes, from 7 to 18 students achieving competency, and an increase in self-confidence, from 7 to 30 students scoring 4 out of 5 aspects. In conclusion, the implementation of Project Based Learning effectively enhances students' learning outcomes and self-confidence in Pancasila Education.

Abstract

The level of critical thinking ability in class IV students at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta is still low, as evidenced by the results obtained during observations and interviews. This research aims to describe the improvement of students' critical thinking abilities in science subjects through Inquiry Based Learning in class IV at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. The method used is the Classroom Action Research method which consists of two cycles, with a sample of class IVA students at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. The instruments used are written test questions, observation and interview sheets, and documentation. The data collection techniques used are observation and questionnaires, as well as data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical techniques. The indicators used include formulating questions, answering questions, reporting observation results, making conclusions, and thinking about alternative answers. Based on the cycles that have been carried out, the results show that the level of students' critical thinking abilities has increased in each cycle. These results indicate that the use of the Inquiry Based Learning method can improve students' critical thinking abilities in science lessons.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the suboptimal learning process, resulting in low creativity among students, which affects the outcomes of Indonesian language subjects, particularly in poster making. The study aims to enhance creativity and learning outcomes in Indonesian language through poster making using project-based learning approach. The method employed is Classroom Action Research with two cycles, encompassing planning, implementation, data collection, and reflection. The research subjects are 27 sixth-grade students at SD N Kleco 1. Data collection is conducted through assessment of poster creativity and learning outcome tests. Through the implementation of Classroom Action Research with project-based learning approach, students' creativity and learning outcomes significantly improve from one cycle to another. Student creativity increases from 40% in the pre-cycle to 57% in cycle I and 81% in cycle II, with the average score rising from 56 in the pre-cycle to 70 in cycle I and 79 in cycle II. The increase in learning outcomes occurred due to students' curiosity about the material which was dominated by projects in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes using the cooperative learning model of PKn subject matter, understanding the rules of class I elementary school of Wirogunan 03 Kartasura District Sukoharjo Regency, and to improve discipline using the cooperative learning model of cooperative learning pictures and pictures in the PKn subject matter, understanding the rules of class I elementary school of Wirogunan 03 Kartasura District Sukoharjo Regency. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). In the implementation of cycle I, it showed an increase in learning outcomes by 62.5%, and in the implementation of cycle II, it increased to 87.5%. The level of discipline of grade 1 students increased, from 75% in cycle I to 95% in cycle II. From the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the cooperative learning picture and picture model is successful and effective in improving student learning outcomes and discipline in PKn subjects, especially in understanding the rules, at Wirogunan 03 State Elementary School, Kartasura, Sukoharjo Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to address issues occurring in the teaching process in class II of SD N Wirogunan 03 Kartasura, where mathematics instruction still follows a conventional model involving only teacher-led delivery without any real activities to aid students' understanding of the material. The proposed solution is to use puzzle-based learning media to enhance learning outcomes and student engagement in the learning process. This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, comprising two cycles with a pre-cycle followed by planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Evaluation of learning outcomes and student engagement is conducted using assessment sheets and observations. The research findings indicate that the use of puzzle-based learning media improves learning outcomes and student engagement. The percentage of learning outcomes in the pretest was 27.2%, increased to 54.6% in cycle I, and reached 81.9% in cycle II. Furthermore, student engagement in the pretest was 36.3%, increased to 63.7% in cycle I, and reached 100% in cycle II. From these research findings, it can be concluded that the use of puzzle-based media effectively enhances learning outcomes and student engagement, creating active and engaging learning experiences.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to determine the impact of implementing the jigsaw type cooperative learning model on improving students' disciplinary attitudes in mathematics subjects. This research was carried out in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research was carried out in 2 cycles in class III of SD N Trangsan 1, Sukoharjo, consisting of 12 girls and 6 boys. The data analysis technique was carried out using a quantitative descriptive approach through success indicators which were used to measure the achievement of a disciplined attitude in the learning process in mathematics lesson content. Based on the results of research on disciplinary attitudes in cycle I, it was found that the average research results reached 70% which was in the sufficient category. Then in cycle II it reached 83% which was categorized as good. So it can be concluded that the jigsaw type cooperative learning model has been proven to be effective in improving students' disciplinary attitudes in mathematics subjects. This learning model can be applied as a learning model that is used to help teachers improve students' social and intellectual attitudes, especially discipline in learning mathematics.
