Abstract

This research is experimental research, with the aim of designing comic arts and culture media, knowing the influence of comic media in learning arts and culture among students at SMA Negeri 1 Soromandi and students' responses to comic media. The population in this study was class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Soromandi for the 2024/2025 academic year and the research sample was class Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. Data on students' concept mastery was obtained using a concept mastery test and student response data was collected using a questionnaire. Student concept mastery data was analyzed using the t-test and student response data was analyzed using five scale absolute norms. In this research, 3 series of Arts and Culture comics have been produced. The results of the analysis show that there is a difference in learning arts and culture through comic media for experimental class and control class students at a significance level of 5% with a value of t'= 3.026 and this value is not in the interval - 2.02, <t' <2.02. This means that comic media in arts and culture learning has an influence on improving the learning of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Soromandi. while the analysis and questionnaire showed that students responded positively to learning arts and culture using comic media with a percentage of 53.84%

Abstract

The use of visual and auditory elements into the learning process may enhance its effectiveness, captivate students, and facilitate their comprehension and engagement with the topic. Educators have the power to enhance classroom instruction by doing things like creating a sense of intrinsic motivation and offering post-lesson assessments. The objective of this research was to find out whether fourth graders at SD Inpres Kuanino 3 were more engaged in studying IPAS when they used animated interactive media. The experimental quay approach is used in this quantitative investigation. A total of 49 participants were included in the study, and the sampling method utilised was nonprobability saturation sampling. Data collecting approaches involving observation, testing and documentation. The data was examined by means of a t-test and hypothesis testing. Using a t-test, the researchers found that there was a 17.59 point difference between the experimental and control groups' average post-test scores: 82.59> 65.00. In addition, the sig value is revealed by the Independent Sample T-Test, which tests hypotheses. H0 is rejected while Ha is accepted when the two-sided p-value is less than 0.05. Students in SD Inpres Kuanino 3's fourth grade were shown to be much more engaged in learning when animated interactive media were used.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the basic problems of students, namely difficulties in understanding the material on Systems of Linear Equations with Three Variables, how to use methods to solve them, and not maximizing the use of technology as a learning medium. The aim of this research is to develop learning media in the form of a MedLearn Math on three-variable linear equation systems. This development research uses the ADDIE model. The results of the research show that the level of feasibility of media and material experts received a very feasible category with scores of 97% and 90% respectively. The results of students' responses to the media obtained an average percentage of 83.3% in the very good category, while the test results of 3 randomly selected students obtained an average percentage of 89.2% in the very good category. So, the MedLearn Math developed as a learning medium on three-variable linear equation systems is "very feasible" and "very good" and easy to use anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

Interactive learning media refers to education that utilises multimedia or information and communication technology. the problem faced by researchers in the field, the results of researcher observations, found the problem of low critical thinking skills of computer system students in software utilisation subjects. This research was conducted in an effort to determine how interactive media can improve critical thinking skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research, the samples in this study were student representatives in the Experiment class with a total of 14 students and a control class of 14 people. The research instruments used tests, observation sheets, and questionnaires. The conclusion of this study is that the t-test in the experimental class with a p-value <0.05 shows that interactive media can be a useful teaching tool to improve students' critical thinking skills. Compared to traditional teaching techniques, the inclusion of interactive media in the curriculum can be more beneficial in helping students develop their critical thinking skills.Interactive learning media refers to education that utilises multimedia or information and communication technology. the problem faced by researchers in the field, the results of researcher observations, found the problem of low critical thinking skills of computer system students in software utilisation subjects. Abstract

The development of information technology and computer science has driven a fundamental transformation in education through the use of Learning Management Systems, online and hybrid learning, and artificial intelligence. These changes position technology not merely as a tool but as an actor influencing the learning process and decision-making, while also raising challenges related to the quality of interactions, user experience, and ethical aspects. This study aims to examine the transformation of human-technology relations in digital education through a Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) perspective. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by searching scientific publications in the Google Scholar, Scopus, and ResearchGate databases. Selected articles were analyzed qualitatively through thematic synthesis. The results of the study indicate a paradigm shift in human-computer interaction from a command-based approach to an adaptive, contextual, and user-experience-oriented interaction. Artificial intelligence plays a significant role in enhancing learning personalization, but also has the potential to reduce human control and lead to bias and low system transparency. This study concludes that the development of educational technology needs to integrate the principles of HCI and human-centered design so that digital transformation is not only oriented towards technical efficiency but also maintains autonomy and human values in education.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of eye–hand coordination training on improving underhand passing skills in volleyball among students of SMPN 17 Pamulang. Underhand passing is a fundamental technique that requires accuracy, strength, and good visual–motor coordination; however, many students still experience difficulties in controlling the direction and force of the ball. This research employed an experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 30 eighth-grade students, divided into an experimental group and a control group, each comprising 15 students. The experimental group received eye–hand coordination training over eight sessions, while the control group followed conventional learning activities. Data were collected through underhand passing skill tests and eye–hand coordination tests administered before (pretest) and after the treatment (posttest). Data analysis included the Shapiro–Wilk test for normality, Levene’s test for homogeneity, Paired Sample t-test, and Independent Sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results indicated a significant improvement in the experimental group between the pretest and posttest (p < 0.05), demonstrating that eye–hand coordination training had a positive effect on underhand passing skills. Furthermore, the comparison between groups showed a significant difference in passing ability, but no significant difference in the coordination variable. Therefore, eye–hand coordination training was proven to be effective in enhancing underhand passing skills of junior high school students. This study recommends that physical education teachers incorporate coordination training as part of volleyball instruction to improve students’ fundamental technical skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties experienced by eleventh-grade students of SMAN 1 Tanjung in writing news texts, identify the contributing factors, and describe the quality of writing based on 27 student works. The study used qualitative methods with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that most students experienced difficulties in formulating leads, arranging 5W + 1H elements coherently, and applying language rules according to PUEBI. As many as 74% of students were able to write news by fulfilling some criteria, but only 33% fulfilled the criteria well. Factors causing difficulties included minimal experience in writing news, low interest in reading, weak ability to construct effective sentences, and poor spelling mastery. The news topics written by students were divided into two main themes, namely Covid 19 and Technology. The findings of this study underscore the importance of continuous practice, structured learning strategies, and habituation to reading journalistic texts to improve news writing skills.
