Abstract

This study aims to determine the law enforcement of health protocols and also to determine the factors of implementation influence on health protocol law enforcement in the administrative city of West Jakarta. The formulation in this study such as: How to obtain enforcement of health protocol laws in the administrative city area of West Jakarta. Here, the several factors that influence the efforts to enforce the health protocol law in the administrative city of West Jakarta using empirical data. Here, the data was collected by using field research and literature study as well as interviews from correspondent with qualitative data. The results show the implementation of health protocol law enforcement in the administrative city of West Jakarta has a reference, namely based on statutory regulations both central government regulations and regional head regulations with other regulations on decisions issued by each agency. Based on Governor Decree No. 1023, the implementation of health protocol law enforcement affairs is carried out by public police (PP) with cooperation Indonesian National Army (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (POLRI). While the factors that influence the implementation of health protocol law enforcement where the supporting factor is the implementation of Governor Regulation No. 79/2020 concerning Increasing Discipline and Law Enforcement of Health Protocols as Efforts to Prevent and Control COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta Province as a legal basis for implementing sanctions. progressive in the form of regulatory support. Meanwhile, the factor of constraint is the factor of law enforcement due to the insufficient number of Satpol PP personnel of the West Jakarta administration city. The conclusion of this study is that law enforcement of health protocols as an effort to prevent and control COVID-19 by the West Jakarta administration city government is carried out in accordance with the duties and functions of the administrative city, which is to assist the Governor in carrying out general government affairs in his area. Whereas the suggestion from this research is that in the future the DKI Jakarta Provincial government should make policies in efforts to prevent and control COVID-19 in the form of Regional Regulations as a stronger legal basis, in order to bring better changes and provide legal certainty for the community and law enforcers. And in the future, in implementing law enforcement, it is necessary to build partnerships with related agencies through integrated coordination and increase preventive efforts by involving many stakeholders.

Abstract

Solid waste disposal management is a great challenge to be socially accepted in many aspects. Unmanaged landfill is still commonly faced in Indonesia with characteristic of open dumping. Bakung Landfill located in Bandar Lampung It is one of them. The operation of landfill related to manage a facility can be negatively affected to who living near the landfill. Thus, in this study aimed to analyze sociological perspective of Bakung landfill by some influential factors. Here, forty samples had been collected by interviewing respondents with random sampling around 1 to 5 km in distance from landfill where Eight components consist of 35 questions in total were given to respondents. The components are covered a general information such as the existence of landfill, owner management, technology facilities availability, financial, social impact, nuisance, disturbance, and damaging environment. The Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Cluster Analysis (CA) as comparison were conducted to identify data. Some statistical tools were done to filter data as quality assurance i.e. validity, reliability, normality and KMO test. Four new components were extracted and named by “facility management”, “pollution”, “financial and convenience”, and “technology to handling”. Facility management and pollution explained the top highest of total variance. CA had similar result with better visualization of the proximity of components. Many literatures supported the fact that unmanaged system in landfill related to the facility management was occurred and the pollution coming from landfill was exist. However, future research regarding institutional perspective and broader area of research need to be conducted to support the issues.

Abstract

Public service over Regional Government in Indonesia is considered doesn’t good enough. The lean government programs is used to improve public services in Tangerang, West Java, Indonesia. In this study, we analyse the mutation services for object/subject on Land and Building Taxes over Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) using lean government concept. The lean government concept is uses the DMAIC mechanism (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). In order to obtain failure mode, we use Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to improve mutation process service for object/subject on land and building tax. In this study we uses qualitative research method to take the data observation based on interview also documents and records from 30 correspondence. The results showed the applied concept of lean government programs could be increase the submission process of mutation services for object/subjects of Land and Building Taxes to 28.6% with average time reduced 8 days (from 28 days to 20 days).

Abstract

Services provided by hospital staff to patients greatly affects patient satisfaction. The cause of patient dissatisfaction can be caused by several factors including the service quality factor, such as Reliability, Assurance, Tangibles, Empathy and Responsiveness. Apart from that, there are 2 other factors that were examined this study, namely Accessibility and Communication. Thus, the problem in this study at Murni Teguh Sudirman Jakarta (MTSJ) Hospital there is decreased performance of pharmacy staff, so that there are complaints from outpatients to pharmacy service unit at MTSJ Hospital. Here analyses a quality of pharmaceutical staff services at out-patients satisfaction at MTSJ Hospital, also analyses the influence of Reliability, Assurance, Tangibles, Empathy, Responsiveness, Accessibility and Communication pharmaceutical staff services at out patients’ satisfaction at MTSJ Hospital. In addition, in this study we use a quantitative descriptive causality approach which aims to analyse relationships and influence (cause and effect) of two or more phenomena and correlation and regression analysis. The data collection techniques using is primary questionnaire with 5 Likert scale distributed to 49 respondents. The results shows that there is no influence from Reliability and Responsiveness pharmacy staff to out-patients satisfaction at MTSJ Hospital. There is influence from Assurance, Tangible, Empathy, Accessibility and Communication pharmacy staff and pharmaceutical installation to out-patients satisfaction at MTSJ Hospital, with value of correlation and regression analysis, if Significance values (Sig) < probability 0,05, then H0 (null hypothesis) be rejected and Ha (alternate hypothesis) accepted (there is no influence), if Significance values (Sig) > probability 0,05, then H0 (null hypothesis) accepted and Ha (alternate hypothesis) be rejected (there is influence).

Abstract

The vitality of commodity prices and trade wars in international trade due to slowed export-oriented domestic manufacturing industries growth. Leadership is considered as one of the important solutions in improving the key performance of Indonesian manufacturing companies because a good leadership style can be enhance organizational learning and stimulate organizational innovation to improve company performance. In this study, we use quantitative approach with survey method to assess how leadership affect in organizational learning and organizational innovation in shaping of organizational performance. Here, we use a questionnaires and distributed over 320 manufacturing employees in company at several cities throughout Indonesia. Furthermore, the data observations are analyzed by using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method. The result shows a leadership style is influenced organizational innovation and organizational learning positively and significantly, then the organizational innovation and organizational learning also positively and significantly influenced organizational performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation on innovation. This study was conducted on silver craftsmen in Gianyar, Bali. Here, the population of silversmiths lives at Celuk Village, Gianyar, Bali. In addition, the number of correspondent samples around 89 industries with using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected through distributing questionnaires which were given directly to the silversmith owners. The data has also gone through instrument testing which states that it is valid and reliable. Here, the collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques to obtain correlation between entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation on innovation. The results show that entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation have a positive and significant effect on innovation with 0,859 R2 value. This research implies that increasing innovation can be done by implementing strategies such as expanding the market through advertising, distribution channels, and implementing marketing strategies. Another implication of this study indicates that the entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation is a culture of the business that must be applied to the artisans because it can accelerate process of creation of organizational innovation.

Abstract

The current economic growth encourages many businesses to grow and thrive. The one of them is growing is Hotel in Bekasi city. The realization of investment in Bekasi City reached 17 trillion IDR over 2017. Thus, the investment targets to encouraged businesses to grow such as business developers in hotels and apartments building over the Bekasi area reached 17 trillion IDR. The increasing factor also needs balanced with the increased availability of hotel rooms and accommodations so that does not create a gap between demand and supply for hotel rooms or accommodations. Business growth and development needs must be planned so that the business can continue running. One of the things must be considered is the risk management, so every business can find out which factors must be considered in developing its business itself.

Abstract

Waste is an environmental issue that quite unsettling right now. Hospitals are health facilities for community but also become one of waste contributor. Waste from hospital activities was called medical waste. Medical waste can be a source of disease for humans and other living organism and can disrupt environmental stability if not managed properly. The management of medical waste must be appropriate with regulations, but there are still many health facilities that have not managed according to the regulations. This study was conducted to evaluate of medical waste management in hospital to government regulation No. 101/2014 and Regulation of environment and forestry minister No. 56/2015. The research was conducted through several step from literature study to direct survey in the field through interviews and observations of the medical waste management. That information is evaluated in accordance with the waste management that has been regulated in government regulation No. 101/2014 and regulation of environment and forestry minister No. 56/2015. There are seven activities in the management of hazardous and toxic waste but this hospital only carry out two steps, such as collection and storage activities. Some of their doing in collection and storage activities was still not accordance with the regulations.

Abstract

Employee retention is an organization's effort to retain its potential employees. In this study aimed to analyse the effect of non-physical work environment, compensation, and organizational commitment on potential employee retention. Here, the sample population of this study taken from housekeeping and room service section totalling 60 employees over Tjampuhan Hotel, Gianyar, Bali. The determination of sample collection is use saturated sampling method with interview and questionnaire from 60 employees. Furthermore, in the processing data we analyse using descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis, respectively. The results show non-physical work environment doesn’t significant effect on employee retention, compensation, and organizational commitment. However, partially have a positive and significant effect on employee retention. This indicates that employee retention is not influenced by the non-physical work environment. However, it can be explained that the good result is captured according to the compensation received and organizational commitment with increase employee retention. Thus, the employees are retaining their membership in the organization.

Abstract

Marketing strategy is an effort to develop market product, both of goods and services using a powerful and specific plan also strategy to determine the sales proportion becomes higher. Here, the marketing strategy has an important role in company due to economic value. The purpose of marketing to create a marketing strategy using digital marketing with increasing unique users and applications features to get a revenue according to the marketing targets. One of the marketing strategies is carried out by PT. Rembaka Catur Sekawan on Four Care Application service in the advertising strategy through the social media. Social media was chosen due to most a people use their daily activities for various purposes. In addition, social media was chosen as a advertising platform because it has a wide reach in marketing.
