Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of ethical leadership on trust in leader, to analyze the influence of trust in leader on work engagement, to analyze effect of work engagement on turnover intension, to analyze the influence of ethical leadership on burnout and to analyze the influence of burnout on turnover intension of ICT employees. The population used in this study are all distributors or other business companies that are employees of ICT Company which number 375 employees. While the sample of this study was 30 respondents who were considered to have adequately represented the population studied. The sampling technique uses the Convenience Sampling method, which is a sampling method based on the convenience factor where the respondents happened to meet with the research at the survey location. The analytical model used in this study is descriptive analysis and analysis of Structural Equation Modeling with the Lisrel Program. The results of the study found that found that: 1) Trust in leaders is influenced by ethical leadership. The better and higher the ethical leadership, the better the trust in leader. 2) Work engagement is not influenced by employee's trust in leaders. This might occur in the ICT industry, where there are other factors that can affect employee's work engagement. 3) Turnover intention is not influenced by work engagement. If the value of work engagement is high, the less likely the employee will be to leave the company. 4) Ethical leadership is negatively related to burnout. If the ethical leadership value is low, then the higher the burnout. 5) Turnover intension is influenced by burnout. This shows that the higher the burnout, the higher the likelihood that employees will leave the company

Abstract

The Phase I Heart Rehabilitation Exercise it’s one of an efforts to achieve functional level to allows patients on conduct their initial activities such as in preparation for carrying out daily activities at home also for prevention of adverse effects 'deconditions' due to prolonged bed rest. This study, we conducted coronary heart disease which is generally given to a total bed rest during heart rehabilitation training phase I and exercise. Thus, this study aims to determine the cardiac effect in rehabilitation training phase I on self-care and patients life quality with coronary heart disease, using quasi experimental method with pretest-posttest control group. Here, we take 81 respondents of coronary heart disease in a stable state condition. The results showed that the first phase of cardiac rehabilitation exercises is significantly affected over self-care (p = 0,000) while the quality of life (p = 0,000) is increased with odds ratio three times and improved quality of life with odds ratio four times. The iIntervention group compared with control group. Based our study, the Phase I heart rehabilitation exercises is recommended for stable coronary heart disease.

Abstract

The increasing production of B3 medical waste produced in Indonesia has not been accompanied by the growth of B3 medical waste processing companies. There are less than 10 companies that offer B3 medical waste treatment services in Indonesia, with big names companies such as WASTEC, PLIB and Java Medivest was being the main players in this industry. In this study, we discuss the NICE (Networking, Interaction, Common Interest, Experience) concept of the marketing mix, how to operate, where the business will go, and who should be involved in PT. Kelola Lingkungan Kita, B3 medical waste processing company in Indramayu Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The implementing a marketing strategy starts with analyzing the overall situation of the company. The company must perform a SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) analysis on the company. Apart from SWOT, Segmenting, Positioning is also needed to classify the market to be targeted. In this paper, SWOT analysis can be used to understand the company's business mechanism to become a better and also competitive condition for company strength and to prevent threats.

Abstract

This study aimed to explain and analyze the influence of transactional leadership on employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable. This research was conducted over manufacturing company. Here, we use 140 correspondents to take the data observation. In order to analyze the data hypotheses, we use exploratory method over AMOS software. The results shows that the significant and positive relationship exists between transactional leadership on motivation, motivation on employee performance, and transactional leadership on employee performance with motivation as intervening have positive correlation. If the transactional leadership and organizational culture are supported by high work motivation, a company will be able to improve performance action

Abstract

Work Life Balance was one factors could influence employee’s performance. Conflicts between work and personal life could increase stress levels which could reduce employee morale, causing decreased job satisfaction which triggered employee intentions to leave. Turnover Intention (TI) was often associated with Organizational Commitment (OC) and Work Life Balance (WLB). Study aims to determine the influence of WLB on TI through OC as intervening variable on nursing employees in one private hospital in Tangerang. This causality research with quantitative approach, carried out one stage through the Survey method. The population as well as sample of 79 nurses and midwives as saturated sample. Through path analysis, WLB has significant positive influence on TI. WLB has significant positive influence on OC, OC doesn’t directly influence on TI, WLB and OC together have significant positive influence on TI, and OC isn’t intervening variable between WLB and TI. This situation is assumed due to the demographic factors’ majority young respondents under 25 years old, and high level of need for nurses around hospital. Managerial implications, Hospital management needs to reduce TI with variety of Human Resources management programs, including selective recruitment, creating conducive work atmosphere and identifying other factors that influence the increasing TI.

Abstract

Peningkatan cahaya saat fajar (twilight of dawn) di ufuk timur merupakan pertanda munculnya fajar. Salah satu observasi dalam mendeteksinya yaitu dengan menggunakan alat Sky Quality Meter (SQM). Terdapat beberapa cara analisis kurva cahaya SQM dalam mengidentifikasi titik peningkatan cahaya saat fajar muncul. Analisis titik peningkatan cahaya ini menggunakan fitting kurva polinomial pada grafik gradien terhadap solar elevation. Dari 32 (Februari-Maret 2019) data didapat nilai Adjustable R-Square fitting kurva hampir semua dinilai “tinggi” ( > 85%). Rata-rata titik kemunculan fajar terjadi pada solar elevation -13.86° ± 1.27° dengan nilai paling dalam -16.9° dan paling tinggi -11.32°.

Abstract

Patient’s visit plays an important role in the sustainability of hospital services. Patient’s decision to visit could be measured through patient visiting intention which is influenced by marketing mix and trust. This research aimed to gather empirical proof in order to describe the relationship between marketing mix and visiting intention through trust as an intervening variable. The 200 respondents from patients in outpatient clinic of Hospital X are proposed in this study. Thus, this research is quantitative with causality method was conducted with 4-interval-scale questionnaire. All the data was analyzed with Structural Equation Modelling. Here, most of the respondents in this study are female which is in the age 21 to 30 years old also graduated from senior high school and vocational school. In addition, the female respondent in the age 21 to 30 did not use insurance to cover their bill while an old patient was visiting general practitioner clinic. Here, the descriptive analysis shows that marketing mix and visiting intention are in moderate category while trust is in high category. The results of this study indicate that there is effect of marketing mix on visiting intention through trust. The effect of marketing mix on trust and trust on visiting intention are positive and significant while the direct effect of marketing mix on visiting intention is negative and significant. Thus, in this study found that trust is intervening variable and marketing mix has a negative effect on visiting interest.

The needs of modern society especially men are needed barber services to tailored a customer. The right service time and attractive facilities it’s effective to generate customer. This business is a new business model in Indonesia and requires business development. Jeeva works company develops to facilitate customer needs by providing re-model and e-registration application technology over coffeeshop. The combination of barbershop and coffeeshop is developed by Jeeva works company namely Jeeva Barber Coffee. Some of the business development undertaken by analyzing the business environment, developing business strategies, operational strategies, marketing strategies, human capital (HC) strategies, financial strategies and risk management. A good strategy in the field of human capital (HC) affects business development. Jeeva Barber Coffee is a premium barbershop business facilitated by modern application technology so that the role of human capital (HC) is very important to improve the company's operations. Abstract

The judicial process will be ends with a final decision (verdict). Here, the imposition or release of criminal sanctions (punishment), in the judgment has been considered over verdict. Before arriving at this stage, there are steps that must be carried out beforehand, namely the stage of proof in imposing a crime against the defendant. In imposing a crime, the judge must have analyse based on two valid evidence with the two pieces of evidence also judge is convinced that the criminal act charged has actually occurred and it was the defendant who committed it. This is regulated in Article 183 KUHAP. Thus, the purpose of this study to examine and analyse the authority of the prosecutor over judges panel in imposing a sentence on the defendant. In this study, the proposed method to examine and analyse the strength of the items or evidence were obtained through the expert witnesses and field witnesses. Here, we analyse empirical juridical legal studies are examines the applicable legal provisions and a society reality condition. In this study, the processing data was used qualitative methods with draws conclusions using legal logic. The result shows the judges' considerations and decisions are sometimes different from the demands of the public prosecutor. In addition, the evidence and considerations used by the panel of judges also differ from the evidence received from expert witnesses, field witnesses, letters and instructions from investigators. However, the judges have a strength evidence to determine authority by obtain relationship.

Abstract

Dividend policy is the most controversial topic in the context of corporate finance, where the variables that influence it are still uncertain in the literature. Thus, in this study aimed to analyze the effect of cash position, debt to equity ratio, return on assets Loan To Deposit Ratio, and Net Call Money on dividend pay-out ratios, as well as providing information and pictures to investors whose investment objectives are to pursue dividends based on variables. Here, we obtain the observation data form 7 banking companies listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange and actively distributed dividends from 2012 to 2018. The results showed that the variable cash position, debt to equity ratio, and net call money had a positive and significant effect on dividends pay-out ratio, and return on assets, loan to deposit ratio, and a negative and significant effect on the dividend pay-out ratio on data regression.
