Abstract

Indonesia was declared as a health emergency state, due to the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020. Here, the Indonesian government and both central and regional, was taken a policy by issuing new regulations that limit community interaction and productivity with aimed to accelerating the response to covid-19, however the impact on the weakening of the community's economic development. Night entertainment business actors who were directly affected by the covid-19 virus, during the covid-19 pandemic had closed their businesses for about 4 months, and laid off their employees by cutting salaries / wages by 50% and some even did not provide salaries / wages until the employee is re-employed. Thus, to cover expenses or to keep earning income, there are nightlife business actors who secretly open their businesses such as karaoke in rooms, restaurants / cafes with virtual music while still providing alcoholic drinks in the Regional Regulations who allow a trading alcoholic drink. The trading situation it makes no legal certainty in the night entertainment business community to run their business because there are no definite new rules for carrying out their business. Thus, in the Covid-19 pandemic, which until now is still increasing who are exposed and on the other hand the nightlife business actors must continue their business while maintaining to avoid the spread of Covid-19, it is necessary to have binding and strict legal rules, so that laws or regulations against night entertainment business actors during the Covid-19 pandemic can be enforced.

Abstract

N-body simulation is a great tool to study the dynamics of many body system in astronomy. There a many method that could be used to perform N-body simulation. In this study, we compare two methods, direct method and tree-code to perform N-body simulation code written in Python. The advantages of direct method are it’s very straightforward and could be very accurate if we want to, the disadvantages are this method could take a lot of computational resources. In other hand, tree-code could perform much better in term of computational time, but lack of accuracy and limited to certain cases application. After performing N-body simulation using both method we found that simulation using both methods is very possible to be done in a computer with modest specification. The direct method and tree code perform similarly in small N (N100). In term of energy conservation, both methods perform well and similar.

Abstract

Effective and efficient information management can be achieved through the use of information technology. The emergence of the dengue virus is related to the uncontrolled breeding of the Aedes mosquito, also related to low levels of environmental hygiene. Control and prevention of the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes have been carried out in recent years, and still focused on eradication of the cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever and Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DD & DDB). To prevent DD & DDB cases, the prevention action in decreasing number of DD & DDB is a major factor in controlling the spread of the disease and the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes. Accurate information is needed to provide a fast and accurate location notification of potential breeding areas for Aedes mosquitoes. This study aims to develop a framework for developing the Aedes (e-Aedes) mosquito warning system based on GIS (Geographic Information System), to identify a high-risk area for the Aedes mosquito breeding in residential area of Malaysia. Here, the expert interviews were conducted to confirm the initial framework of the study. This study chose qualitative and quantitative models as the research methodology. Thus, this study aimed to identify the awareness of community on DD &DDB issue. In order to achieve this study; we chose qualitative and quantitative models as the research methodology. This framework is verified through readiness, effectiveness and efficiency. The research results show a positive result, especially for effectiveness and efficiency which is can provide high reliability. This is shown from positive acceptance of respondents (the community) towards the framework of developing a GIS-based Aedes mosquito warning system (e-Aedes).
