Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Transformational Leadership on Job Satisfaction, Organizational Culture, and Affective Commitment. This study will raise the relationship between job satisfaction and affective commitment as a literature gap. The population used in this study over Harapan Mulia Hospital employees around 200 employees. Here, we use 34 question items with a minimum of 34 x 5 or 170 samples. The research design in this study is explanatory research that will prove the causal relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. Significant levels and interrelationships between variables were analysed using the structural equation model (SEM) method Testing with structural analysis Lisrel 8.80 and for descriptive analysis using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.00. The results shows that the application of Transformational Leadership had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (T-Statistics = 6,16). These results are in line with several previous studies that explain the impact of transformational leadership on job satisfaction. Furthermore, that there is a positive and significant influence between Transformational Leadership on Organizational Culture (T-Statistics = 5,23), there is a positive and significant effect on Transformational Leadership on Affective Commitment (T-Statistics = 2,98), there is a significant influence between employee satisfaction on affective commitment (T-Statistics = 2,39), there is a significant relationship between organizational culture and affective commitment (T-Statistics = 2,68). This means that the higher application of a company's organizational culture will encourage employees to have a better affective commitment.

Abstract

The frozen food business is one of the most desirable businesses and has a good prospect. There have been many businesses that have made a huge profit from the frozen food business. This is evidenced by the increasing number of frozen food businesses that stand from day to days with a product offering each of them. But there are also frozen food businesses that go to a bankrupt due to the marketing strategies does not right and the quality of service is less than optimal. It means that the success of a frozen food business in winning competition is determined by the application of an appropriate marketing strategy. The strategy of maturity to support competitive advantage products that have a competitors. Basically, almost for all successful businesses they are really understand the 4P concept (Product, Place, Price, Promotion) marketing mix, how to run, where a business will go, and who should be involved. The implementing a marketing strategy begins by analyzing the overall situation of the company. Marketers must conduct a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) in company as a whole seller. Besides SWOT, Segmenting, Targeting Positioning is also needed to classify the market that will be targeted. Here, SWOT analysis can be used to understand a company business mechanism to be a better condition also competitive for company strength and deter threats

Abstract

Lasic is a permanent solution to overcome refractive disorders in humans. In Indonesia, the general eye hospital is providing lasic surgery as well as other related procedures. The absence of special clinics that exclusively serve lasic, in addition to the imbalance between the number of patients with refraction disorders who have been treated with lasic surgery and the popular notion that lasic procedures are expensive, offers a business opportunity to open a lasic-specialized clinic which will be named SILC Lasic Center. SILC Lasic Center will offer cost-effective lasic surgery with flexible payment programs while still prioritizing quality and patient safety. In order to introduce and expose SILC Lasic Center so that the community takes notice, there needs to be a proper marketing plan so that the purpose of SILC Lasic Center will be in accordance with its vision and its mission can be achieved.

Abstract

The membership study of star cluster is a fundamental topic in order to learn more deeply about the evolution of star and dynamical evolution of star cluster itself in the galactic environment. Here, we introduce the membership study of open cluster NGC 3766 and globular cluster NGC 6366 by implementing Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithm in parametric method. We implemented MCMC algorithm in the fitting processes of stellar proper motion distribution and isochrones model with HR-diagram for both star clusters. We found that MCMC algorithm has been successfully distinguished member stars with membership probability larger than 50%. The convergence processes of fitting parameters were going sufficiently fast with small uncertainties. We obtain that NGC 3766 is (25 ± 7) Myr which containing (882 ± 5) member stars with distance modulus (V-M_V )= (11,95 ± 0,32) and colour excess E(B-V)= (0,30 ± 0,01). These parameters are corresponding to the distance (1,60 ± 0,12) kpc from the Sun with extinction A_v= (0,93 ± 0,18). Besides that, the age of NGC 6366 is (11,70 ± 1,10) Gyr and containing (0,30 ± 0,01) member stars with (V-M_V )= (14,98 ± 0,09) and E(B-V)= (0,77 ± 0,09). Our computations shows that the distance of NGC 6366 is (3,30 ± 0,19) kpc from the Sun with A_v= (2,39 ± 0,28). In this work, our computations of physical parameters are in a good agreement with previous studies. Furthermore, through this work we also suggest a new computation of star cluster physical parameters with MCMC algorithm

Abstract

Dividend policy is the most controversial topic in the context of corporate finance, where the variables that influence it are still uncertain in the literature. This study aims to analyze the effect of cash position, debt to equity ratio, return on assets and inventory turnover to the dividend payout ratio, as well as providing information and description to investors whose investment objectives to pursue dividends based on variables. Here, we analyze the panel data regression over 11 consumer goods industries in the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2017. The results shows that the variable return on assets and inventory turnover had a positive and significant effect on the dividend payout ratio, and also the debt to equity ratio had a negative and significant effect on the dividend payout ratio. While the cash position had not significantly affect on the dividend payout ratio
