Abstract

The first stage prior to the selection process is employee recruitment, then continues to the placement of candidates. The right hiring employee candidates over company is the most important part of the venture. An effective recruitment process can be reducing turnover of company. The interviews process and background checks are ensuring that the company will hire reliable candidates and carry out the company's planned goals of providing quality service to customers. There are several factors that affect the effectiveness of the recruitment process at PT. KELOLA LINGKUNGAN KITA (KLK) which is have a consists of cost per person employee candidate, volume of applicants, time to fill in, quality of recruitment, tenure, and employee attitude. This study aims to review the most effective way of recruiting employees in order to obtain competent employees. In this study, we use a qualitative method that will describe the topic and explain the results of the interview. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the recruitment process at PT. KLK. The result of this research is that the recruitment process of PT. KLK is effective, but it is important to maintain the recruitment process in the company, because the recruitment process is the first stage in deciding whether a company has good employees or not.

Abstract

Hotel is an accommodation service business to bring a service, comfortable, and lodging facilities needed for those who want lodging facilities for the benefit of family, vacation or on job. This business is related to facilitate a people as customers, so this business is related to service quality. Quality of service is very determining by success factor of this business. Service quality is a form of consumer assessment in the level of service received with the expected level of service. The success of a company's operations is determined by many factors, one of which is the employee. Employees are people who deal directly with customers. In addition to hotel buildings which include design and layout, employees also become important assessments for customers. Therefore, training and developing employees in a service business is important to achieve company goals.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is faced by the Indonesian nation is health problems in the group of mothers and babies. Here, the patients' perceptions have competence of midwives, a service performance were needed to assess the quality of service in the midwifery unit at Banten Hospital (RSUD Banten). Thus, there is an effect of perceptions of the quality of midwifery services on patient satisfaction at the Barru Sulawesi Hospital inpatient. The purpose of this study was to analyse the influence of the competence of midwives, the performance of midwifery services on the quality of service in the midwifery inpatient unit Banten Hospital (RSUD Banten). In this study, the quantitative research method involved a sample of 150 people. The data were processed using the Path statistical test (path analysis) of the Amos program. The results showed that there was no positive effect of midwifery competence on the quality of midwifery services, there was a positive effect of midwifery competence on the performance of midwifery services with a positive effect of midwifery service performance on the quality of midwifery services. It was found that patients in the midwifery ward did not directly experience the quality of midwifery services through the competence of midwives. The competence of midwives first affects the performance of midwifery services and then affects the quality of midwifery services. Improving the quality of midwifery services is a top priority due to patient perceptions of the good quality of midwifery services will have an impact on the good performance of midwifery services and the level of competency of midwives in hospitals. Managerial implications become input for the midwifery inpatient room of Banten Hospital, the need to improve the competence of midwives in techniques for better education and midwifery services through training and minimizing deficiencies to improve the quality of midwifery services according to patient expectations.

Abstract

Metode pengamatan Bulan sabit muda tipis di siang hari telah dikembangkan oleh Observatorium Bosscha sejak tahun 2013. Metode deteksi dengan kamera CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) dan filter Bessel I telah memberikan hasil yang positif dengan berhasilnya deteksi sabit bulan dengan elongasi kurang dari 5 derajat. Pada tulisan ini akan dipaparkan bagaimana pendeteksian sabit muda berhasil diamati hingga pada saat konjungsi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how Financial Literacy, Financial Behaviour and Financial Anxiety influence Financial Well Being of Top Management Level Employees. A cross-sectional survey was employed on 256 respondents randomly selected from top management level of manufacture company. It then tests their hypothesized relationships with the use of Partial Least Squares (PLS), a structural equation modelling technique. The result reveal that financial behaviour and financial anxiety significantly influence the financial well-being of employee. Financial literacy also influences the financial anxiety, financial behaviour and financial well-being. Financial behaviour of an individual also determine the level of financial wellbeing of the respondents. Positive and healthy financial behavior leads toward the higher level of financial wellbeing. There is significant and positive effect of financial literacy to financial behaviour of top management level of employees.

Abstract

Public service performance is an interesting topic to be studied by experts and observers of public administration issues, because a public service in government activity must be answered the community needs to facilitate a permit and non-permit services over health, education, and economy problems. The government, through a employees in charges must provide certainty of security and convenience when the public need administrative services provide a sense of satisfaction. Here, the satisfaction toward excellent service from employees can be seen from information technology application, effective and efficient work procedures with quality of the work environment to response toward problems or conflicts during the service process. The change public service institutions are able to provide the best services in public. In this study aimed to analyze the effect of competence and work environment on job satisfaction and its impact on the performance of civil servants. This study assessed competence and work environment influence job satisfaction and employee’s performance. Here, we obtain all parameters data from employees especially civil servant staffs. Therefore, through the methods of pre-research surveys, we interviewed and give questionnaires. From the results, we found a correlation between the main factors that were very significant. Here, the respondents surveyed in this study were 200 civil servant staff working at the PTSP level in the village, district, and city of West Jakarta. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with data processing using Lisrel software. The results shows that competence and work environment influenced job satisfaction and had a significant impact on the performance of civil servants in PTSP West Jakarta.

Abstract

The principles in Good Corporate Governance (GCG) have been applied at PT. Angkasa Pura Solusi as a subsidiary of State-owned enterprises of Indonesia (BUMN). This activity has referred to Article 3 PER-01/ MBU/2011 issued by the State Minister for BUMN concerning the Implementation of Good Corporate Governance. As a BUMN which consists of transparency, accountability, independence, responsibility and fairness. Theoretically, the practice of the principles of Good Corporate Governance in BUMN holding can increase the value (valuation) of the company by increasing the performance and value of the company so that it can benefit state revenues in the form of dividends, taxes, employment, and competitive products and services to consumers. The legal basis for the procurement of goods and services in BUMN is based on the Regulation of the Minister of BUMN No.PER-05 / MBU / 2008 concerning General Guidelines for the Implementation of the Procurement of Goods and Services for State-Owned Enterprises. This specificity is enforced because BUMN is a form of business entity which all or most of its capital is owned by the state through direct participation originating from separated state assets. Thus, the enactment of the Regulation of the Minister of BUMN Number PER-05 / MBU / 2008, the Board of Directors of PT. Angkasa Pura Solusi has established Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods and Services based on the Decree of the Board of Directors Number: 013B / APS / SK / DIR / III / 2018, dated March 26, 2018 regarding Barag Procurement Guidelines / Services PT. Angkasa Pura Solusi. This regulation regulates the mechanism for the procurement of goods and services at PT. Angkasa Pura Solusi. In every process of procuring goods and services at PT. Angkasa Pura Solusi, it must refer to this regulation.

Abstract

The increasing business of the national minimarket companies such as local retail in Indonesia (Indomaret and Alfamart) owned by large companies at this time the conventional stores and local minimarkets decrease their competitiveness. Those largest minimarket companies have penetrated their stores in many cities in Indonesia with a modern store operating system, a complete variety of products and surely with the big capital, makes the national minimarkets accepted by the market and faster to open their new stores. This Competition makes the local minimarket have to face challenges with the national minimarket network. The local minimarket must have a strong analysis to win this competition and become the next national minimarket level. Thus, in this study we explore the concept of 4P (Product, Place, Price, Promotion) of the marketing mix, how to operate, where the business will go, and who should be involved in Noor halal Minimarket. This minimarket is a local market in Bogor, West Java with implemented a marketing strategy starts with analyzing the overall situation of the company. The Local minimarket must do a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) in the company as a whole seller. Besides SWOT, Segmenting, Positioning is also needed to classify the market to be targeted. Here, the SWOT analysis can be used to understand the business mechanism of the company to be a better condition and also be competitive for the company's strength and prevent threats.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the optimalization stock portfolio as a basis of investment inside company stocks in LQ45 on Indonesia Stock Exchange. In this research, we use data observation from January 2013 to December 2017 with quantitative method to obtain population over 11 manufacturing companies based single index model. The results showed 5 stocks became to portfolio candidates from the 11 candidate stocks studied which is 5 optimal portfolio shares had a return of 0.019 or equal 1.98% per month. Here, the 5 optimal portfolio have a risk and must be faced by investors shares around 0.007 or equal to 0.07%. The 5 optimal portfolio namely UNVR, ICBP, GGRM, KLBF, and INDF to share over investors. The fund proportion can be invested by 5 shares such as UNVR, ICBP, GGRM, KLBF, and INDF are equal 56.06%, 16.14%, 7.86%, 16.42% and 3.52%, respectively. The Return on bullish conditions shows that the portfolio returns is calculated from selected five stocks to obtain optimal portfolio formation reached 0.021. Furthermore, the return on bearish conditions have risk value more than 0.008. Thus, the optimal portfolio in bullish conditions can reduced investment risk more than 0.011 poins. Thus, the optimal portfolio can be reduced risk value over low level in bearish conditions in LQ45 manufacturing company in near future

Abstract

This study is aimed to analyse the effect of perceived organizational support on work engagement and employee performance. This research was conducted by taking a saturated sampling of 49 respondents with a questionnaire tool created using google form. The structural equation modelling (SEM) analysis based on partial least square (PLS) is used as the data analysis technique. The results showed that perceived organizational support and employee engagement had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Employee engagement considerably moderates the influence of perceived organizational support on employee performance. Based on the study's findings, management is expected to maintain the quality of human resources and employee welfare, pay attention to employee complaints, and retain employee pride in their work, so that the optimal contribution will be.
