Abstract

This study aim to test the effectiveness of counseling Rational Emotive Behavior to improve self-concept of student's vocational high school students. The study design was experimental with pretest-posttest control group design design. The data analysis techniques used Two Independent Sample Test Mann Whitney U and Welcoxon Menched signed Test in this study. The result analysis of data used Welcoxon Signed is known to experiment group of probabilitical value 0.009 <0.05 and control group has the same level of significance 0.009 <0.05, which mean either experimental group or control group are equally effective in improving self-concept of student's vocational high school. Furthermore, the result of the analysis used Two Independent Sample Test Mann Whitney U seen from the mean value of Posttest in experimental group 5.00 is greater than the control group of 5.00, it can be deduced that Rational Counseling Emotive Behavior is more effective to improve self-concept of high school students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui gambaran kebutuhan siswa terhadap pengembangan model bimbingan belajar Quantum Learning di SMA Negeri 3 Pangkep. (2) Mengetahui gambaran uji keterpakaian (akseptabilitas) dan keberterimaan model bimbingan belajar Quantum Learning di SMA Negeri 3 Pangkep  (3) Mengetahui gambaran model bimbingan belajar Quantum Learning yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Subjek dalam penelitian terdiri dari ahli praktisi bimbingan konseling, ahli bimbingan konseling dan siswa kelas X sebanyak 40 orang.  Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan instrument skala dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengembangan model bimbingan belajar quantum learning untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa sangat dibutuhkan di SMA Negeri 3 Pangkep.(2) Pengembangan model bimbingan belajar quantum learning untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa melalui uji keterpakaian (akseptabilitas) mendapat penilaian baik dan uji keberterimaan mendapat penilian cukup baik, yaitu dapat diterima dan digunakan di SMA Negeri 3 Pangkep.(3) Pengembangan model bimbingan belajar quantum learning untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa yang dikembangkan berupa buku panduan  yang terdiri aspek tujuan, sasaran, sarana pendukung, peran konselor, prosedur pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan. (4) Penerapan model bimbingan belajar quantum learning memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingkat kemandirian belajar siswa yaitu dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 3 Pangkep.

Abstract

Undergraduate research is the final project in order to completed the undergraduate degree. It is made by a college’s student under supervision. The direction process often cause anxiety for student. Anxiety is an emotional reaction of fear and anxious, thus requires the ability to control emotions such emotional intelligence. This study aimed to see the relationship of emotional intelligence and anxiety in Syiah Kuala University’s student while getting direction of research. The study was conducted on 257 student that were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data was collected by Schutte Emotional Intelligent Scale (SEIS) from Schutte, et al (1998) and anxiey scale of Depresion Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) that has been adapted by Damanik (2011). Data were analyzed by spearman technique with result p=0.000 (p=0.05) and correlation coefficient score -0.139. This show a negative relationship between emotional intelliegence and anxiety on Syiah Kuala University’s student while getting direction of research with 4.3% contribution (r-squared=0.043). It’s mean individual with the high level of emotional intelligence followed by the low level of anxiety, and vice versa.

Abstract

The establishment of bullying behavior of high school students is basically not only influenced by social interaction factor but also influenced by the environment. This study aims to conduct a thorough review of the negative facts of Banjar culture in the establishment of bullying behavior of high school students by taking a study on the students of SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin. The research method used is to conduct a literature review on the formation of bullying behavior. The result of research shows that the negative facts of Banjar culture have an impact on the behavior of 'bullying'. In an empathetic perspective, it occurs because of the overwhelming feeling, in an assertive perspective because of the habit of silencing the problem and lastly in the perspective of confirmation because of the attitude that tends to simplify life and ignore the feelings of others.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-experiment dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan one-group pre-test post-test design. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas restrukturisasi kognitif dalam mengurangi kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik yang masuk pada katagori kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional tinggi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis statistic non-parametric wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam mengurangi kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional peserta didik dapat dilakukan dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji wilcoxon signed ranks test menunjukkan bahwa nilai Z hitung lebih besar dari nilai Z tabel yaitu 2.533 > 2,262 dan nilai signifikasi hitung lebih kecil dari taraf kesalahan 5% yaitu 0,011 < 0,05. Hasil perhitungan gain score menunjukan rata-rata skor kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional saat pre-test yaitu 74,58%. sedangkan nilai rata-rata kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional saat post-test mengalami penurunan menjadi 37,08%. Hasil lain dari analisis tersebut didapat gain score sebesar 0,59 dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa teknik restrukturisasi kognitif efektif mengurangi kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional peserta didik

Abstract

Objectives: (1)find out description of the career decision-making students of class XI IPA before and after given knowledge of career decision making through symbolic modeling techniques using biographies, (2)knowing influence of symbolic modeling techniques using biographies against career decision-making of IX IPA students. This is quantitative experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collected using instrument of observation and question form. Data analyzed by descriptive and t-Test. Results: (1)description of the influence of symbolic modeling techniques using biographies career that used in student's career decision making through 4 step, namely: giving information about career decision making, giving information about symbolic modeling and biographies, granting preferential treatment in biographies about career, and follows activities of the group inverse. Before being given symbolic modeling techniques both of experimental group or control group generally are at low category. After being given treatment shows the changes of the level of decision making career choices from low to high, while the categories for students who were not given the treatment showed no change or remain in the middle category. (2) there is  significant issue about symbolic modeling techniques using biographies, in case to increased career decision-making student at SMA Negeri 9 Makassar.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan sebuah proses yang dilaksanan tahap demi tahap. Kunci dari pendidikan karakter adalah disiplin. Kedisiplinan sangatlah penting bagi peserta didik, disiplin bukan hanya untuk menjalankan segala aturan sesuai dengan waktunya melainkan untuk meningkatkan tingkat keberhasilan yang tinggi. Disiplin tidak hanya dapat di implementasikan dengan pembelajaran saja tetapi karakter disiplin dapat di bentuk melalui kebiasaan yang dapat di lakukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan adanya pendidikan karakter disiplin diharpkan peserta didik dapat mengimplementasikannya melalui hidden curiculum. Hidden Curicculum merupakan kurikulum tersembunyi dalam sebuah proses pembelajaran. Kurikulum tersembunyi merupakan kurikulum yang tidak tampak, bisa terjadi sec6 Y’ara spontanitas, tanpa terencana dan bisa muncul dari pengalaman belajar dalam sekolah. Meskipun kurikulum tersembunyi tidak mempunyai sistematika yang formal namun sangat berperan dalam mewujudkan sebuah tujuan pembelajaran, khususnya pengembangan karakter. Tujuan belajar dan pengembangan karakter akan dapat dicapai secara maksimal dengan dukungan kurikulum tersembunyi melalui aktifitas siswa, baik dalam pembelajaran maupun di luar pembelajaran. Adapun strategi Hidden curicculum yang bisa diimplementasikan pada pengembangan karakter disiplin diantaranya: (1) senyum, salam, sapa, sopan, santun (5S). (2) Adanya relasi antara Guru BK dengan orang tua atau wali siswa dengan dibentuknya group media sosial whatsapp yang beranggotakan seluruh orang tua atau wali siswa untuk memonitoring kegiatan belajar siswa.(3) Diwajibkannya mengikuti  ekstrakulikuler atau organisasi kepanduan (Pramuka) yang ada di sekolah (4) Peserta didik yang terlambat ditugaskan untuk membuat essay dengan judul tertentu sebelum memasuki kelas. Hal ini dapat membuat peserta didik mendapatkan  pengalaman secara lahiriyah dan bathiniyah

Abstract

The study aims to determine the academic burnout of teachers taking Professional Teacher Education (Pendidikan Profesi Guru) at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) based on their gender, marital status, and employment status. This is the first study mapping the academic burnout of teachers participating in professional education with various demographic variables. The study applied comparative design. 360 teachers who took their professional education at UM in the even semester 2019 participated in the study. Research data was collected using a demographic questionnaire and School Burnout Inventory that was adapted into Bahasa Indonesia and professional education context. The exploratory factor analysis and Cronbach's Alpha were applied to test the validity and reliability of the instrument. the Mann-Withey U Test and Kruskal Wallis were also used to analyze the data. The results showed that there are no differences in the academic burnout of the subjects in term of gender, marital status, and employment status.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) to determine the types of anxiety a experienced by students, (2) factors that cause anxiety asiswa, (3) counseling approach applied Teacher BK in overcoming the anxiety of students, and (4) to know the assessment of students to counseling services that do counseling teacher at the school as perceived by the counseling teacher at the school. This research is qualitative obtained from the informant and the subject's behavior is observed. Instruments are students and teachers BK with a sample size 6 students and 4 teachers BK SMA Makassar. Data collection through direct interview to the informant. The results showed that (1) the types of anxiety experienced by students who studied are anxiety is psychological in the form of dizziness, anxiety, and could not sleep, (2) factors that cause anxiety students are learning achievement that is not in line with expectations, could not adjust to the subject, had no educational aspirations, and worried about the future, (3) a tutor in overcoming anxiety academic in students, not using the obvious approach in dealing with students who have anxiety problems of academic, approach still partial, incidental, routines, and tend to be behavioristik, (4) counseling service approach used by teachers in handling anxiety BK students have not been effective, both in the eyes of students and teachers BK itself.

Abstract

The development of guidance and counseling programs, especially those planned (planned) and implemented (actuating) by guidance and counseling teachers will impact on how the provision of services to learners (counselee). Therefore a good program will show how the existence of teacher guidance and counseling in the field. Comprehensive guidance and counseling programs are comprehensive. Guidance and counseling activities are a series of activities that are related, connected, and each part has a unity bond with another part that is oriented towards the achievement of certain goals. Comprehensive guidance and counseling programs based on local school wisdom can be realized in several ways (1) Identify the needs of learners by developing data instruments based on school culture values. (2) engaging in school-oriented guidance and counseling services and (4) involving all stakeholders to provide counseling and guidance services based on local school wisdom.
