Abstract

The study aims to determine the academic burnout of teachers taking Professional Teacher Education (Pendidikan Profesi Guru) at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) based on their gender, marital status, and employment status. This is the first study mapping the academic burnout of teachers participating in professional education with various demographic variables. The study applied comparative design. 360 teachers who took their professional education at UM in the even semester 2019 participated in the study. Research data was collected using a demographic questionnaire and School Burnout Inventory that was adapted into Bahasa Indonesia and professional education context. The exploratory factor analysis and Cronbach's Alpha were applied to test the validity and reliability of the instrument. the Mann-Withey U Test and Kruskal Wallis were also used to analyze the data. The results showed that there are no differences in the academic burnout of the subjects in term of gender, marital status, and employment status.

Abstract

Academic resilience is an individual's academic resilience in facing academic pressure. In fact, in the industry 5.0 era resilience is needed by individuals to face various challenges in the future. This study determined the prevalence of academic resilience of Social Science students in facing the industry 5.0 era. This research employed survey design. The sample was 116 students of Social Sciences who were selected using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data collection used academic resilience questionnaire. It was tested for validity and reliability with a KMO and Bartlett's Test value of 0.741. The data was analyzed descriptively. Students' academic resilience was shown by having competence, self-confidence, character, commitment, interest, and self-control to overcome difficult situations at hand. Commitment is an important aspect for individuals to be tough in academic situations.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan pelik yang dialami oleh para konselor sekolah di lingkungan Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Probolinggo adalah rendahnya keterampilan konseling. Hal ini karena sebagian besar mereka tidak berlatarbelakang pendidikan sarjana bimbingan dan konseling. Selama ini, proses konseling dilakukan dengan cara yang lebih mirip dengan pemberian nasehat daripada konseling profesional. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, dilakukan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan esensial konseling untuk para konselor dimaksud. Melalui pelatihan ini, diharapkan agar para konselor dapat meningkatkan: (1) keterampilan mendengarkan secara aktif; (2) keterampilan mempengaruhi; dan (3) keterampilan pemberian bantuan pemecahan masalah melalui prosedur-prosedur konseling secara umum. Kegiatan inidilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan structured learning approach (SLA) dengan sistem In, On, dan In. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatanpengetahuan dan keterampilan konseling para peserta. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan skor-skor pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka ke arah yang lebih baik.Kata Kunci:keterampilan esensial konseling; bimbingan dan konseling; structured learning approachCounseling Essential Skills Training for School Counselors with a Structured Learning Approach ABSTRACT One of the most compliacated problems of school counselors in Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Probolinggo is the lack of their counseling skills. This is because their educational background is not related to guidance and counseling. Prior to this program, their counseling service was carried out in a way that could be called advice giving rather than professional counseling. Based on the situation, the program aims to improve the essential counseling skills of the counselors. The program is expected to improve the counselors’: (1) active listening skills; (2) influencing skills; and (3) skills in providing problem solving. The program is implemented with a structured learning approach (SLA) and In-On-In procedure. Overall, the entire program was carried out in three months. The result of the program is the improvement of the counselors’ understanding and skills in giving counseling service.Keywords: essential counseling skills; guidance and counseling; structured learning approach

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini merupakan penerapan metode kearifan lokal yang sudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat Indonesia dalam menumbuhkan sikap saling tolong menolong dan saling hormat menghormati antar sesama.. Mengingat kader perempuan antar umat beragama merupakan figure dan perwakilan dari agamanya masing-masing, maka mereka harus dibekali sikap toleransi beragama yang cukup sebelum mensosialisasikan sikap toleransi beragama kepada umat yang lain. Program kemitraan masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk kader PAUB Kota Malang. Iptek yang diterapkan berupa strategi menumbuhkan sikap toleransi beragama melalui metode anjangsana. Dengan metode anjangsana ini dapat menumbuhkan penghayatan dan praktik kegamaan tidak hanya berhenti pada tahap klaim eksklusifisme (aku) yang berujung pada hubungan personal dengan Tuhan, tidak juga pada tahap inklusifisme (kamu) dengan perhatiannya pada perekrutan dukungan teologis atau ideologis (solidaritas), melainkan juga tahap keterbukaan (kita), dimana penghayatan religius atas nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dapat mewujudkan toleransi beragama tidak hanya pada level wacana.  Produk luaran yang dihasilkan berupa modul peningkatan sikap toleransi beragama bagi kader PAUB yang dapat diterapkan pada kader perempuan antar umat beragama di kota-kota lain di Jawa Timur. Kata kunci— Kader perempuan, Metode anjangsana, PAUB, Toleransi beragama.AbstractCommunity service activities are the application of local wisdom methods that have been carried out by the Indonesian people in fostering mutual assistance to help and respect each other respectfully. Considering women cadres among religious communities are figures and representatives of their respective religions, they sufficient religious tolerance must be provided before socializing the attitude of religious tolerance to other people. This community partnership program is intended for PAUB cadres in Malang. The applied science and technology in the form of strategies to foster an attitude of religious tolerance through the method of Anjangsana. With this method of Anjangsana can foster appreciation and religious practice not only stop at the stage of claims of exclusiveness (I) that lead to a personal relationship with God, not also at the stage of inclusiveism (you) with attention to the recruitment of theological or ideological support (solidarity), but also the stage of openness (us), where the religious appreciation of human values can realize religious tolerance not only at the level of discourse. The output products produced were in the form of modules to increase religious tolerance for PAUB cadres which could be applied to interfaith women cadres in other cities in East Java.Keywords— Female cadres, Anjangsana method, PAUB, religious tolerance

Abstract

Kesadaran karier merupakan tahapan perkembangan karier masa anak-anak yang berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan kariernya dimasa mendatang. Penelitian dilaksanakan berdasarkan fenomena kurangnya kesadaran karier siswa SD. Penelitian bertujuan menguji keefektivan teknik modeling untuk mengembangkan kesadaran karier siswa SD. Metode penelitian yakni kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian  nonequivalent pre test and post test control group design. Partisipan penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tingkat kesadaran karier. Pengujian efektivitas teknik modeling untuk mengembangkan kesadaran karier siswa dengan menggunakan rumus uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil ujicoba dan analisis uji data sebelum dan setelah pelaksanaan layanan terbukti bahwa teknik modeling secara empiris dapat mengembangkan kesadaran karier siswa. Keefektifan teknik modeling diketahui dengan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor yang lebih tinggi pada kelompok eksperimen pada saat pretes dan postes. Sehingga terdapat perkembangan yang positif terhadap tingkat kesadaran karier siswa.  Kefektifan teknik modeling dapat meningkatkan kesadaran karier pada tiga aspek yakni pemahaan diri, pendidikan dan eksplorasi pekerjaan dan perencanaan karier yang telah dijelaskan perubahannya pada setiap indikator.

Abstract

This study investigates career planning strategies for Generation Z in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era, emphasizing career theories and cultural and religious values. Through content analysis, the research reviews 8 articles on career planning grounded in cultural and religious values, alongside 10 articles on career theories and work values. The findings indicate that the career planning process encompasses self-understanding, understanding of career opportunities, planning, and career decision-making, which should integrate values such as faith, hard work, honesty, cooperation, and resilience. These values are represented in cultural heritage, including proverbs, poems, games, models, songs, rhymes, and advice. These insights significantly contribute to the study and practice of career planning in both formal and non-formal education settings.

Abstract

This training was held with the aim of increasing the competency of counselors at SMK Negeri 5 Malang in using metaphor techniques in counseling. By increasing counselor competency in using metaphor techniques, it is hoped that counseling services at SMK Negeri 5 Malang can run better and more efficiently. This community service activity will be carried out in the form of training using the flipped classroom model and experiential learning. The flipped classroom model is used to help participants master the concepts and procedures of metaphor techniques in counseling. Meanwhile, experiential learning is used to improve participants' skills in applying metaphor techniques in counseling. This training was carried out by three lecturers at the Department of Guidance and Counseling, State University of Malang and attended by seven counselors at State Vocational School 5 Malang. The training was carried out in three sessions. The first session was held online asynchronously. In this session, participants are asked to study the material independently through the guides and training materials that have been provided. The second training session was carried out online synchronously. In this session, participants were invited to discuss and explore the concept of metaphor that had been studied independently in the first session. In the third session, participants were invited to practice knowledge about metaphors in counseling sessions. Measurements after the training activities showed that there was an increase in the participants' post-test scores compared to the pre-test scores. Based on interviews with participant representatives, it was also known that the participants had a positive impression of all training activities.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini dilakukan untuk memabntu guru BK SMA Kabupaten Ponorogo dalam meningkatkan Kompetensi sebagai konselor melalui pelatihan konseling naratif. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan menggunakan tahapan SLA (Structure Learning Approach) yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yakni instruksi, modelling, role playing, balikan ,dan pemberian tugas. Hasilnya dapat dilihat dai perubahan rata-rata pretest-posttes yang dilaksanakan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 3.01 point.  Saran untuk pelatihan selanjutnya dapat dikembangkan dalam bantuan layanan konseling naratif secara offline.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah konformitas teman sebaya dan kontrol diri berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir siswa. Pendekatan kuantitatif desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian yakni 80 siswa kelas XII MA Bilingual Batu. Penentuan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh yang menjadikan seluruh populasi sebagai sampel penelitian karena jumlah yang tidak lebih dari 100 siswa. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan skala pengambilan keputusan karir berdasarkan teori Parson, skala konformitas teman sebaya berdasarkan teori Wiggins, serta skala kontrol diri berdasarkan teori Averill. Uji asumsi menggunakan uji normalitas, linearitas, multikolinearitas, dan heteroskedastisitas. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda yang dibantu dengan aplikasi SPSS 26 for windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai sig. 0,168 0,05 pada analisis regresi berganda atau dapat dikatakan bahwa konformitas teman sebaya dan kontrol diri secara bersamaan (simultan) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir siswa kelas XII MA  Bilingual Batu.
