Abstract

This research departs from the fact that many students feel pressured by many assignments at school, and this causes their stress symptoms to experience at school. Therefore the ability to solve problems (self-efficacy) is thought to be very important to deal with these problems. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and stress symptoms of elementary school students (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Private) in Solok City, West Sumatra. This research uses a quantitative approach, with a population of 354 students. However, only grades 4-6 were included in this study as a sample totaling 80 people. The sampling technique used is proportional to stratified soak sampling. The statistical model used in this study is the Pearson correlation. The results of this study prove the relationship between self-efficacy and stress symptoms of elementary school students.

Abstract

Certification is the process of awarding competence certificates in recognition of a person's ability to perform a job after passing a competency test. Teachers as a determinant of the success of the implementation of teaching and learning is required to produce high performance in carrying out duties and responsibilities to the fullest. This study actualizes the performance of certified teachers in teaching learning process in MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar. The formulation of the problem in this research; 1) How is the actualization of certified teacher performance in improving the learning process at MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar? 2) How is certified teacher planning in improving the learning process at MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar? 3) How is the implementation of certified teachers in improving the learning process in MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar? 4) How is the evaluation of certified teachers in improving the learning process at MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar? This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach, data collection technique is done through observation, interview and documentation study. Research subjects were madrasah supervisors, madrasah heads and certification teachers. The results showed that: 1) Actualization of the performance of certified teachers in improving the learning process can be seen from the timeliness in carrying out the learning process, the accuracy of time come to school and going home on time. All discipline-certified teachers where if there are teachers who are unable to attend, they remain responsible for hours of learning in the like as with entrusted duty to the teacher picket; 2) Planning of certified teachers in improving the learning process can be seen from their preparation in making a good learning administration by preparing learning tools according to curriculum such as making syllabus, semester program, weekly program and RPP with the guidance of senior teachers and supervisors in teacher work group forum; 3) The implementation of certified teachers in improving the learning process undertaken is to provide early motivation, applying perceptions, using appropriate instructional media, managing classes, and methods used in the learning process varies, although of all these efforts have not all gone well. This is evident from the implementation that is still not maximized, so it seems only limited to the mere routine so that the learning process in the classroom running is not conducive and using a monotonous method; 4) Teachers carry out evaluation in all aspects of assessment ie cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The evaluation is conducted an on going basis, although there are still a small number of certification teachers who have not understood the problem analysis techniques so it is difficult to determine valid questions, all because the teacher has limited understanding of learning evaluation techniques.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of a humanistic-religious approach that prioritizes the learning process rather than learning outcomes. While there are still many schools that do not understand the positive impact of this approach, so they still use the learning approach that focuses merely on students and learning outcomes. This study explains the humanistic-religious approach in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh) learning. This research employed a qualitative approach in which data were collected through observations, documentation, and interviews. It was conducted at MAN 3 Pontianak, Indonesia, where teachers and students were research participants. This study found that Fiqh learning model with a humanist-religious approach is characterized by three main activities. First, fiqh learning is supported by learning implementation plan (RPP) documents that arranged systematically, describing the behavior of teachers and students who are full of responsibility, open, democratic, dynamic, and religious. Second, humanist class management is done by auditing the class and providing a broad collaboration space. Third, humanist religious approaches are also carried out by building reciprocal educational interactions through sharing learning methods or strategies.

Abstract

The background of this reseach is about the teachers and student’s behaviour understanding and implementating toward the kitab which written by Teungku Muhammad Ali Irsyad, the founder of dayah Darussaadah. The research aimed to know kinds of teachers and student’s ethical behavior in the kitab, teachers and student’s understanding toward the teachers and student’s behavior regarding to kitab Khulq ‘Aẓim, and their implementation toward the content of the kitab. Moreover, this field research conducted by using qualitative approach in descriptive method at dayah Darussaadah which affiliate to Faradis, Kecamatan Panteraja, Kabupaten Pidie Jaya. Resources of the data are kitab Khuluq 'Aẓīm, teachers and students in dayah Darussaadah. The data was collected by interview and observation. The instrumen of the data collection was interview sheet and observation sheet. Result of the research had shown that numbers of ethical behavior for teachers were 16 kinds of rules, and 24 kinds of rules for students’ ethical behavior. In conclussion, a large of number dayah member’s are understood and implementated the ethical behaviors that containing in kitab Khuluq 'Aẓīm, although many of them have any difference comprehences.

Abstract

The background of this study was more specifically related to the contextual approach: linking science with daily life, which could help improve students’ understanding on aqidah/creed materials, their ability to think, and their learning experiences. Thus, the students could implement them in real life. The study conducted in Class X of MAN Model Banda Aceh, aimed at investigating the implementation of the contextual approach, the application of the contextual approach which could increase the understanding of the Aqidah concept, and the understanding of Aqidah concept of the students taught using the contextual approach and the conventional approach. The research employed quantitative descriptive with quasi experimental method. Data were collected by essay pretest and essay post test, teachers’ and students’ observation, and documentation. The research findings showed that the implementation of the contextual approach on aqidah learning covered the scope of Aqidah Islam and sub-materials such as the definitions, and the principles of aqidah. The learning method of aqidah included using seven components of the contextual approach: constructivism, inquiry, modeling, frequently asked questions, group learning, modeling, and real judgment. The teaching and learning activities were carried out through discussions in accordance with the lesson plans. Further, the observation analysis of the teachers’ ability level (TKG) showed that the descriptive statistics of the teaching activity was 4.51≤TKG t1-α or 15.38> 1.6923, making Ho rejected and Ha accepted. It can be meant that the students’ posttest was better that the pretest. Moreover, the learning outcomes of the aqidah learning of the students of Class X IPA 2 and Class X IPA 5 reflected that those taught with the contextual outperformed those with the conventional learning, as shown here based on the significance level α = 0.05 and degree of freedom (df) = 66. The ttable obtained was t_(0,975)(66) = 1.997 so that tcount < ttable (0.59 µ2 was accepted.

Abstract

Selama ini pendidikan yang dikembangkan lebih menekankan pada aspek kognitif saja, kurang memperhatikan sisi afektif dan psikomotorik anak. Pelajaran agama seringkali dimaknai secara dangkal dan tekstual, nilai-nilai agama yang ada hanya dihafal dan tidak diamalkan, padahal nilai-nilai religiusitas tidak hanya tampak ketika seseorang melakukan praktek ritual peribadatan saja, seperti shalat, berdo’a, puasa, zakat dan haji. Namun nilai religiusitas nampak pada semua aktifitas keseharian seseorang yang mencerminkan unsur aqidah, ibadah dan akhlak. Homeschooling (Sekolah Rumah) saat ini mulai menjadi salah satu model pilihan orang tua dalam mengarahkan anak-anaknya dalam bidang pendidikan. Pilihan ini muncul karena adanya pandangan para orang tua tentang kesesuaian minat oleh anak-anaknya. Homeschooling ini banyak dilakukan di kota-kota besar. Dari pengamatan yang peneliti lakukan di Habib Alby yang melakukan salah satu tempat diadakannya homeschooling, peneliti menemukan bahwa guru lebih leluasa dalam mengajarkan peserta didik, sehingga satu guru hanya mengajarkan beberapa peserta didik saja, hal ini akan memudahkan guru tersebut dalam membentuk karakter sosial anak untuk lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the tradition of character education principles in Ma'had Darul Qur'an Hadith (MDQH) Al-Majidiyah As-Shafi'iyah Nahdlatul Wathan Pancor, Mataram, based on the principles in Ta'limul Mutaallim. This research is qualitative research that uses a phenomenological approach. Sampling was done by purposive and snowball sampling. To determine the sample purposively, the researcher interviewed several informants from the teaching staff. On the other hand, in snowball sampling, the researcher explores in-depth interviews based on the recommendations of previous informants to collect data from several other informants. Furthermore, data was also collected through observation by directly observing student learning and documenting attitudes recorded in school records such as student conditions and Ma'had's profile. The collected data is then analyzed into an immersive study using the Miles and Huberman model, where the data is analyzed interactively and persistently until it is complete and the data is saturated. The results of this study indicate that studying the Book of Ta'limul al-Muta'alim will make students (santri) of Ma'had Darul Qur'an Hadith have morals such as sincerity (ikhlās), contention (istiqāmah), and patience (ṣabr).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in guiding the morals of students during the Covid-19 Pandemic, which is done as their responsibility in completing the aspects of guidance on teacher workloads, as well as examining supporting and inhibiting factors and solutions offered to optimize efforts. moral guidance during the pandemic. This research is qualitative descriptive by collecting data through observation, documentation and interviews. Interviews were conducted with 3 (three) PAI teachers at SMAN 1 Jatiluhur. The results show that 1) PAI teachers' moral guidance planning has a focus on cultivating moral values in Allah, oneself, family and the environment; 2) moral guidance is carried out formally and informally using the methods of advice, habituation, ibrah and exemplary. PAI teachers collaborate with homeroom teachers and parents in fostering student attitudes when carrying out online learning, at home and on social media, as well as how students carry out fardhu prayers, sunnah prayers and habituation of reading al-Qur'an. 3) assessment and evaluation are mostly carried out through the google form, google classroom, zoom meeting, whatsapp and youtube platform. PAI teachers develop more interactive PAI teaching materials and assign tasks based on the principle of honesty; 4) The supporting factors for the implementation of moral guidance consist of Islamic Education teachers, homeroom teachers, parents and students; 5) The obstacles faced are limited mastery of IT, limited devices and signals as well as student backgrounds; 6) The solution offered is to consider the selection of the appropriate method of moral guidance and in accordance with the characteristics of students, increased mastery of information and technology and the provision of supporting facilities to assist the process of moral guidance for students during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Islamic education always places the Qur'an and the Sunnah as its source, method, and goal. Efforts to define the meaning of education become the main issue and become the basis for implementing Islamic education. This article aims to uncover and describe and at the same time reconstruct the model of Islamic education, especially in Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah (MI). Using a descriptive analysis approach from relevant literature sources will provide a complete description of the Islamic model in Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. In this study, it can be argued that Islamic education has unique characteristics compared to the concept of education in general. Besides having a transcendental aspect, it is also very considerate of kawniyyah aspects (ṭabī’ah al-insān and ṭabī’ah al-ḥayāh). Based on the findings of this article, it can give implications for the model of Islamic Education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, which should not only develop religious material but also pay attention to available material, both of which must be integrated so that there is no dichotomy of knowledge that creates inequality for the output of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah itself in the era of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how learning management can improve student character education to realize Indonesia's golden generation in MTs Tahfidz Yanbu'ul Qur'an Kudus, Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach, which describes the phenomena and facts in the field. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through three techniques: data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification of data. This research shows that the implementation of learning management focuses on four elements, namely curriculum management, human resource management, facilities and infrastructure management, and assessment management. Learning management can improve character education for students. Students' attitudes, including religious activities, discipline, responsibility, hard work, and social care, can be seen. Of the five components, of course, can have a positive impact in order to realize Indonesia's golden generation in the future. The supporting factors of the implementation of learning management above are adequate human resources, very supportive facilities and infrastructure, and consistency in the implementation of learning management. At the same time, the inhibiting factors are the lack of teaching staff and the density of student activities.
