Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the transmission of Islamic culture in educational institutions through organizational culture theory. The data was obtained from key informants through interviews, observation and documentation. Some theories were used in this study, including Schein's tripartite theory which is integrated with Berry's transmission theory, and the cultural theory of Koentjaraningrat. The research results show that the al Izzah Integrated Islamic Elementary School is very concerned about the process of transmission that takes place within the institution. This is evident from the agreement on Islamic cultural values that are enforced in the institution through the vision and mission, the culture of values that go well and appropriately, after going through a continuous socialization process from both educators, school principals, parents and stakeholders within the scope of the institution. In addition, there is also support and awareness of the role of the transmitter as a good example, the collaboration of all parties, in this case the principal, educators, parents and the community, in creating a sustainable Islamic culture that shows the internalization of Islamic values in the daily life of the students at SDIT al Izzah both in the school and home environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the educational model from the Quranic perspective and its implications for emotional intelligence development. This research will continue by looking at the Qur'an from a normative and historical perspective in order to create a model of education through the Qur'an. Content analysis was employed as the analytical technique, with the data sources being the Qur'an text and the Tafsir of the Ministry of Religion, as well as secondary data sources from diverse relevant publications. The Quranic education approach begins with the purpose of forming a perfect human. This goal already included those with emotional intelligence based on the Bakaran Adz-Dzakiey theory's indicators.The interpretation of the Qur'an text reveals that the approach is the merger of SCL and TCL, which is then disclosed in the ways of lectures, stories, examples, case studies, discussions, assignments, and rihlah. Through guidance, satire, reprimand, and praise, the Quranic education paradigm calls for improvements in the teaching and learning process. This paradigm was chosen because it is used by exemplary figures in the Qur'an with great emotional intelligence Diawali dari pembelajaran online di masa pandemi yang membawa dampak besar terhadap segala aspek, khususnya sisi emosional peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali model pendidikan perspektif al-Qur’an dan implikasinya terhadap pengembangan kecerdasan emosional. penelitian ini berlanjut dengan menggali al-Qur’an secara normatif dan historis untuk menemukan model pendidikan melalui kerangka teori ciri model pembelajaran. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis konten dengan sumber data teks al-Qur’an dan Tafsir Kementerian Agama didukung sumber data sekunder dari berbagai literatur yang relevan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Model pendidikan Qur’ani dimulai dari penetapan tujuan untuk membentuk insan kamil (insan paripurna). Dalam tujuan tersebut sudah terkandung insan yang memiliki kecerdasan emosional dengan indikator yang dikemukakan oleh Bakaran Adz-Dzakiey . Hasil pemahaman dari teks al-Qur’an menunjukkan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan integrasi SCL dan TCL yang kemudian diturunkan dalam metode ceramah, kisah, keteladanan, studi kasus, diskusi, penugasan, dan rihlah. Model pendidikan Qur’ani menghendaki adanya perbaikan dalam proses belajar mengajar melalui nasihat, sindiran, teguran, dan pujian. Pemilihan rangkaian model tersebut adalah karena model tersebut diterapkan oleh figur-figur teladan yang Allah kisahkan dalam al-Qur’an, seperti para-Nabi dan Rasul, orang-orang salih sehingga menghasilkan generasi-generasi yang memiliki kemampuan atau kecerdasan emosional yang tinggi

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of tahfidz program management activities at Dayah MUQ Pagar Air as the integrity of the oldest tahfidz institution in Aceh, in order to survive the many applications of tahfidz programs that have sprung up in educational institutions, especially in Aceh. The purpose of this study is to describe the management of the tahfidz program. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were Dayah Leaders, Head of Tahsin and Tahfidz Divisions, Ustadz/Ustadzah, and Santri. Data analysis starts from data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study: The management of the tahfidz program includes (1) planning activities by analyzing program needs, setting goals, being in charge, costs, time and place. (2) Implementation is carried out by dividing intensive and regular classes. (3) Supervision by musyrif/ah by supervising program activities. (4) Evaluation is carried out through the development of the number of students' memorization and the quantity of tahfidz teachers. The application of the management function to the management of the tahfidz program if carried out properly, the success of achieving the number of hafidz-hafidzah 30 juz increases every year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and Islamic religious education learning on the religious behavior of students at SMA Adabiah I Padang. It is a field research (field research) using a quantitative approach and correlational methods with a population of all students in class XI and Class XII with the proportionate stratified random sampling technique, to obtain a sample of 86 students. Data were collected using a questionnaire and documentation and analysis techniques using the analysis requirements test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that first, emotional intelligence had a positive and significant influence on the Religious Behavior of Students at SMA Adabiah I Padang. This can be seen based on the value of the regression coefficient (b1) or slope of 0.504, and the value of Fount (28.606) is greater than Ftable (3.94), and the significance value (0.000) is smaller than the value of α = 0.05. While the contribution of Emotional Intelligence (X1) to religious behavior (Y) is 0.254 or 25.4%, secondly, Islamic Religious Education Learning has a positive and significant influence on the Religious Behavior of Students at SMA Adabiah I Padang. This can be seen based on the regression coefficient (b2) or slope of 0.0435, and the value of Fcount (22.293) is greater than Ftable (3.94), and the significance value (0.000) is smaller than the value of α = 0.05. While the contribution of Islamic Religious Education Learning to Religious Behavior is 0.21 or 21%, the three Emotional Intelligence and Learning Islamic Religious Education together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant influence on the Religious Behavior of Students at SMA Adabiah I Padang. This can be seen based on the value of the regression coefficient (b1) or slope of 0.005 and the value of the regression coefficient (b2) or slope of 0.005, and the value of Fcount (24.623) is greater than Ftable (3.09), and the significance value (0.000) is more. smaller than the value α = 0.05. While the contribution of Emotional Intelligence (X1) and Learning Islamic Religious Education (X2) together (simultaneously) to religious behavior (Y) is 0.372 or 37.2%.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama Islam merupakan salah satu bidang pembelajaran yang tidak dapat diinternalisasikan secara instan, namun pendidikan agama Islam menjadi bagian dari hal terpenting yang harus ditanamkan sejak dini kepada generasi Islam. Perkembangan jaman dan teknologi yang sangat pesat perlu diimbangi dengan penanaman pendidikan agama Islam yang lebih kuat. Oleh sebab itu, metode pembelajaran konvensional yang sudah tidak relevan dengan perkembangan dan kebutuhan jaman seharusnya dikembangkan dan dikolaborasikan dengan metode pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan fasilitas terhadap peserta didik dalam mengembangkan pikiran untuk dapat memunculkan ide dan menemukan solusi atas permasalahan yang terjadi salah satunya dengan penerapan metode inquiry. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji metode inquiry dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode inquiry merupakan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada sikap keilmuan siswa dalam memutuskan masalah yang dihadapi, sehingga spekulasi atau ide yang ditemukan dapat diterapkan di lapangan. Karakteristik pembelajaran inquiry yakni berpikir kritis, memfasilitasi, fleksibel, berdasarkan metodologi interdisipliner, terbuka, mengatasi masalah, tanggung jawab pribadi, dang pengaturan sendiri. Mampu mendorong siswa untuk berpikir lebih kritis dan tidak membatasi ruang kreatifitas siswa dalam menalar pelajaran. Penerapan metode ini yaitu guru sebagai fasilitator dalam menentukan tema pembelajaran dan siswa berpikir aktif dan kreatif dalam menyelesaikan segala persoalan dalam pembelajaran. Metode ini sangat penting sebagai alternatif untuk mengatasi problem dan proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.

Abstract

This article describes the role of Islamic education in the implementation of educational autonomy that occurs in Indonesia, both in Islamic educational institutions and in general education institutions. The results of the study indicate that Islamic education plays a major role in the implementation of educational autonomy. This is because Islamic education is a separate part that is able to implement its curriculum in Islamic educational institutions. This research is a literature study so that the data analyzed are sourced from various literature references by using literature analysis in revealing the data. Thus, the implementation of educational autonomy in various Indonesian educational institutions goes well together in accordance with the educational and learning objectives to be achieved. In the context of Islamic education itself, the entire PAI curriculum is able to synergies with other subjects implemented in schools and madrasa.

Abstract

This article describes the Islamic thought of Wasaṭiyah one of the Acehnese scholars, Tgk. H. Muhammad Yusuf A. Wahab or well-known as Tu Sop Jeunieb and currently serves as Chairman of the Ulama Dayah Aceh Association (HUDA). Tu Sop is active in preaching by word and deed. To expand the reach of his da'wah, Tu Sop also utilizes modern da'wah facilities such as social media, radio, websites, and others. The scope of his da'wah includes political, social, moral, and spiritual aspects, aqidah, motivation and education. This research uses a qualitative approach and focuses on the thoughts of the characters. Data were collected through document review, observation, and in-depth interviews. The data were then analyzed interpretively. The results of the study show that Tu Sop Jeunieb's thoughts emphasize aspects of the Islamic moderation approach or the "middle" view in religion. Tu Sop's narrative is always in the middle between two clashes with the aim of finding common ground in differences. Tu Sop looked at the Ahlusunnah wal Jamā’ah in a Wasaṭiyah manner. He also consistently to invite unity (Wiḥdat al-Ummah), have character and maintain a sense of security, balance between the world and the hereafter, balance between reason and sacred texts, orientation to goodness, hikmah and good advice, reject all kind of deviation. The results of this study are very important as a guide in grounding the concept of Wasaṭiyah Islam which is increasingly needed lately, especially when Muslims are faced with various potential conflicts and divisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of weblogs in learning Islamic Cultural History at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pontianak. This research approach is descriptive quantitative research with survey research type. The population in this study were all students of class XI at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pontianak in 2020/2021 with a total of 260 people. Sampling used simple random sampling technique and resulted in a research sample of 157 people. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the use of weblogs as learning media at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pontianak tends to be effective in every dimension. This can be seen from the students' perception questionnaire on the effectiveness of the use of the website on the dimensions of the learning process showing 8% very good, 82% good, and 10% less; on the dimension of learning interest shows 25% very good, 57% good, and 18% less; while on the dimensions of learning outcomes 10% very good, 74% good, and 16% less.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the importance of understanding the nature of the object of education from the perspective of Islamic education. In general, the object of education is often understood as just a human who needs learning. But in Islamic education, the object of education is not just individual humans, but more than that. Humans as objects of education have very broad dimensions. Islamic education has indicated this in its main source, namely the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. To answer this research problem, the approach used is library research. The results of this study are the object of education in Islam refers to several words. First, the word ahl means family, wife, relatives, or people who live in the same place. the word ahl can also refer to various groups that are formed and formed in the reality of human life. Second, the word 'asyirah has varied meanings. The emphasis on the meaning of the most dominant is the family in a larger scope when compared to the family in terms of ahl. So that the term 'asyirah is not only limited to a relationship because of kinship, but also a relationship because of similarities both geographically or in terms of place of residence, ethnicity, tribe, or because of the intense interactive communication between existing community groups. Third, the term al-qurbu refers more to a family bound by brotherhood, perhaps the brotherhood is the result of a lineage or brotherhood which is only limited to common perception. Thus, in Islamic education, education does not only focus on how to teach humans as individuals, but humans in various communities also receive serious attention in order to realize the goals of Islamic education, namely the actualization of faith and piety to Allah SWT in human’s soul.

Abstract

Private Islamic Boarding Schools have received large audiences. Most people regardless of their economic and social status send their children to Islamic boarding schools. There are reasons parents choose this kind of school over other types of school, one of which is the fact that this type of schooling offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. This study seeks to identify the roles of extracurricular in shaping students’ character in a particular boarding school. This qualitative multi-site case study interviewed the management of the boarding schools, teachers, and students. The data for the research was also revealed through observation of students’ activities during the extra-curricular program. Our research suggests that extra-curricular were believed to have shaped students’ characters. The extra-curricular program shape students to become more disciplined, develop time-management skill, become more independent, and develop students’ creativities and students’ critical thinking. Our findings also reveal that the extra-curricular activities were run at a specified time, which does not distract students’ schedule for main learning activities.
