Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the appropriateness and condition of educational facilities in compliance with Ministerial Regulation No. 24 of 2007, as well as the relationship between these facilities and the curriculum at Integrated Islamic Primary Schools (SDIT) in Bandung, West Java. In this study, nine full-day SDITs were reviewed using a qualitative methodology that included snowball sampling. According to the findings, although the majority of schools are able to meet the infrastructure standards, there are disparities in the conditions of the facilities, such as differences in classroom size, ventilation, and library resources, which show that there is a need for changes. Furthermore, the variety of curricular applications, which can range from national to international systems, has a considerable impact on the spatial organisation of school facilities as well as the functional criteria that must be met. It is necessary to have appropriate infrastructure assistance in order to facilitate the integration of various curricular aspects in order to cultivate an effective learning environment that is respectful of Islamic educational ideals. According to the findings of this study, improving facility standards and bringing them into closer alignment with the requirements of a wide variety of curricula can have a considerable positive impact on educational outcomes.

Divorce cases in Indonesia in 2022 will increase to 15.31% compared to the previous year. QS research. Al Baqarah: 228 regarding the discussion of iddah time. Iddah is a period determined by syara' for a woman after a divorce to refrain from marrying another man and this is considered to discriminate against women. This is a narrative review. data source taken from PubMed Database and Google Scholar. The period of Iddah and Reproductive Health was searched systematically with the inclusion criteria of full text articles published within the last 5 years. A search using a combination of key terms, including 'divorce', 'iddah period', 'sexual health', reproductive health', Immune system, resulted in a final data set that included 7 studies. The Iddah period is related to making sure to know the possibility of getting pregnant or not and to know the cleanliness of the uterus. This aims to preserve offspring and prevent mixing of offspring from previous men or husbands. The cleaning period for the reproductive organs takes 120 days. Women's immunity has a genetic memory of sperm for 120 days. In addition, this period can also prevent sexually transmitted diseases due to decreased immunity which can occur due to the influence of free relationships and multiple partners. The Iddah period has an impact on cleaning the female reproductive organs, straightening lineages to avoid mixing lineages, and preventing sexually transmitted diseases and is not a discrimination. This needs to be understood from the scientific aspect of health and Islamic law as educational material for the community

Abstract

A midwife adheres to a philosophy and has the belief that all human beings are unique bio-psycho- socio-cultural and spiritual beings who are a complete physical and spiritual entity and no two individuals are the same. The physical, psychological and spiritual synergy that is built during pregnancy has a significant impact on the outcome of labor. The role of religion as spirituality in this case maintaining human relations with the greatest power of Allah SWT, is an entity that cannot be negated in the management of pregnancy and childbirth care. Spirituality strongly affects Muslim women's behavior in caring for their pregnancy. The aim of this literature review study is to determine the effect of spiritual aspects on pregnancy and childbirth. Searches for qualitative and quantitative research published in peer reviewed journals were carried out through the PubMed, Elsevier and Google Scholar databases using a combination of the search terms "spiritual", "pregnancy", "childbirth" and "Islam" which were searched systematically. Publications selected for the final review covered a variety of research designs including experimental, case-control, phenomenological, cross-sectional, and ethnographic studies published between 2010 and 2022 and free full text articles, resulting in a final data set that included 15 studies. A spiritual approach to pregnancy has been shown to reduce stress in high-risk pregnancies and support normal delivery. Spirituality is a power from God that makes a woman confident about her health during pregnancy and childbirth and prevents excessive anxiety. A midwife should provide midwifery care holistically by paying attention to physical, mental, spiritual and social aspects in order to achieve optimal health and well-being. Attending to women's spiritual experiences during childbearing is an important way to enhance care.

Abstract

Islamic law has regulated postpartum sexual intercourse to be carried out after 40 days. In the perspective of reproductive health science, the average postpartum recovery occurs within 6 weeks. However, postpartum sexual health is still considered a minimally understood and taboo concept. It is often seen only from a physiological/biological point of view, and health workers also convey postpartum sexual health education as just a list of information that must be conveyed. The impact is increasing sexual complaints and problems as well as reproductive health problems, including unwanted pregnancies. This is a narrative review. data sources. The databases of PubMed, Elsevier, Sexual intercourse, and postpartum period were systematically searched, from their earliest dates, using a combination of key terms, including; 'sexual health', 'sexual intercourse', 'resumed', 'sexuality', 'sexual desire' 'postnatal' and 'postpartum', resulting in a final included dataset of 22 studies. Early resumed sexual intercourse in postpartum women is generally in healthy reproductive age (20-35 years), parity of one child, and history of vaginal delivery without complications. Readiness to return to sexual relations needs to be understood from the scientific aspect of health and Islamic law as educational material for the public.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Murabahah contract in Home Ownership Loans (KPR) by Islamic banks in Indonesia against Sharia principles. A qualitative analysis revealed that while the Murabahah contract is widely used, several practices do not fully comply with Sharia principles. These non-compliant practices include schemes resembling riba, selling products not yet owned, and inconsistencies in project management by Islamic banks. The findings indicate that adherence to Sharia principles significantly impacts customer trust and satisfaction, thereby affecting customer loyalty to Islamic banks. The study highlights the necessity for increased supervision and stricter application of Sharia principles in property transactions. The Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) and transparency in reporting are crucial for maintaining integrity and trust in Islamic financial institutions. This research significantly contributes by identifying areas requiring improvement to ensure full compliance with Sharia principles in the property business, providing a solid foundation for developing Sharia-compliant property business practices.

Abstract

This study examines investment instruments in Indonesia from an islamic perspective, focusing on their compliance with Maqashid Al-Shariah and Islamic capital market regulations. It also explores public preceptions of the halal status of Islamic capital market product. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with a literature review. The study reviews 200 journal articles, selecting 32 relevant journal and 2 books for analysis. The findings show that Islamic investments must adhere to the five key elements of Maqashid Al-Shariah: protection of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth. Investments that fail to meet these criteria may not be considered fully compliant with Shariah, despite legal recognition. Regulations by the OJK and supported by the DSN-MUI provide a sufficient legal framework, but Shariah principles are often blended with conventional ones due to the influence of Pancasila ideology. The study also reveals mixed public opinions regarding the Islamic capital market, with many questioning whether products labeled as "Shariah" truly meet halal and Shariah principles. This skepticism is compounded by the absence of specific laws regulating the Islamic capital market, highlighting a gap between legality and morality. The study emphasizes the need for clearer policies distinguishing between Shariah and conventional principles and the importance of enhancing public literacy on Shariah-compliant investments.

Abstract

This study explores the potential of the geopolitics of ummah in uniting the Muslim community amidst the ongoing genocide in Gaza since October 2023. This genocide has sparked global support, including from Western societies. Given Palestine's status as the home of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam, this momentum should spur the ummah to make a significant impact. The study underscores the need for the ummah to realize their potential, as demonstrated historically and through Western responses to their unity efforts. We examine this potential using the Baitul Maqdis Barakah Circle ). Data were obtained from literature studies and analyzed using critical discourse analysis (CDA) to understand how this discourse influences the thoughts and behaviors of the ummah. The results indicate that support for Palestine has heightened awareness of the liberation of thought. Islamic solutions, including struggle in the way of Allah, are gaining recognition as responses to the failure of international actors to end the Israeli occupation. These findings suggest that the ummah can play a significant role in global politics by uniting and mobilizing their strengths, including population numbers, comprehensive solutions to occupation, and material power such as natural resources and military capabilities.

Abstract

The study explores the prospects and possibilities of the application of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in Indonesia, which is widely discussed by Bank Indonesia (BI), using a critical approach from an Islamic perspective. As digital payments and technology disruptions radically change people’s behaviour and the way they conduct transactions, the issue is critical to the existing literature and promoting policy. Using a descriptive-qualitative method, the study identifies the existing literature and the implementation challenges in the Indonesian context, further enhanced by incorporating Islamic viewpoints as a core value. The study revealed that cash-like money still dominates the existing currency distribution, and the socio-economy, including the infrastructure in daily transactions, still relies on the traditional monetary system. The implementation of CBDC in the short term remains risky. From an Islamic perspective on the monetary system, Indonesia does not adopt gold and silver standards as underlying assets for currency issuances. It deviates from the Sharia rules and is a core issue for the monetary system.
