Abstract

The absorption of labor in the Province of Bali over the past five years has experienced quite significant fluctuations, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, because many workers were laid off and even experienced layoffs by their companies. This is shown through employment absorption in 2020 which has decreased significantly compared to previous years. Relatively current labor absorption is often associated with economic growth. The higher the level of economic growth in an area, the lower the unemployment rate and the higher the level of employment. This research is focused on discussing the description of labor absorption and economic growth associated with the minimum wage in the Province of Bali. The research objectives in this study were to determine 1) the effect of the minimum wage on economic growth; 2) the effect of minimum wages and economic growth on employment; and 3) the role of economic growth in mediating the effect of the minimum wage on employment in the Province of Bali. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. This research uses secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Bali Province. Panel data was used in this study by combining time series data from 2013-2021 and cross-sectional data from nine districts/cities in Bali Province. The data processing tools used are Microsoft Excel and SmartPLS. The results of the study show that: (1) the minimum wage has a direct and significant positive effect on economic growth; (2) the minimum wage has a direct and insignificant negative effect on employment; (3) economic growth directly has a positive and insignificant effect on employment; and (4) economic growth does not mediate the effect of the minimum wage on employment.

Abstract

In the effort of developing marine aquaculture, the hatchery stage is essential. During this stage, natural feed cannot be separated, because larvae generally are plankton feeders. Natural feed for fish is organisms in the water, which can be plants like phytoplankton and animals like zooplankton. With the increasing aquaculture activities in Indonesia, the demand for natural feed also increases. Organisms needed for natural feed, such as phytoplankton, can be obtained by collecting them from nature. However, to meet the availability of natural feed in fish farming, it is now done by cultivating them so that natural feed can be available sustainably. The method used in this research is a qualitative method by observing the growth and water quality of Tetraselmis chuii culture. Based on the research results, the best treatment for culturing Tetraselmis chuii is using Erlenmeyer culture with aeration because the cell growth reaches 700 x 10 4 cells/ml. Data on water quality results in intermediate Tetraselmis chuii culture are good for growth. The water quality in the culture tank is relatively stable at 25°C, pH 8, salinity ranges between 33-34 ppt, nitrate ranges between 13.6-17.8 ppm, and phosphate ranges between 2.32-7.6 ppm. The problem that occurred during intermediate culture is the contamination of other organisms. Prevention against contamination is by maintaining the sterility and specifications of the equipment used.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of internal factors on the income of traders in Kediri Market, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. The internal factors to be examined are capital and length of business. The research was conducted at the Kediri Market, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency, where the object of research was traders at the Kediri Market. The number of samples is 65 respondents. The method used in this research is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used to solve the problems in this study are: 1) Classical Assumption Test which includes: Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Heteroscedasticity Test and Autocorrelation Test, 2) Hypothesis Test with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Techniques.Based on the results of the analysis it is known that with a confidence level of 60.3 percent, all independent variables have an effect either simultaneously or partially on the dependent variable. This means that internal factors consisting of capital and length of business affect the income of traders in the Kediri Market both simultaneously and partially. When viewed from the coefficient of determination, only 60.3 percent of the variation in capital, length of business can explain the variation in the income of traders at the Kediri Market, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. This is because there are many other factors that affect the income of both internal and external traders that are not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Legal Considerations of the Supreme Court as a benchmark from the enactment of KPU Regulation No. 20 of 2018 concerning the nomination of members of the DPR, the Provincial DPRD, the Regency / City DPRD to Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections. Judicial Review KPU regulations as the basis of the strength of norms that regulate the prohibition of ex-convicts who run for legislative members. The Supreme Court only cancels the norm that regulates the phrase former convicted of corruption because it is considered contrary to Law No. 7 of 2017 based on the Legal Standing of the applicant whose political rights are impaired after the enactment of the PKPU. For the prohibition of ex-convicts of narcotics and sexual crimes against children remains in force and binding. The need for explicit regulation of the requirements of former convicts in the law as a basis for restricting the political rights of ex-convicts

Abstract

The increasing of household income, in general, will tend to change consumption patterns, especially the consumption patterns for food and non-food. According to Engel, in accordance with the research he conducted, it was stated that when income increases, the proportion for food expenditure will decrease, even though in absolute terms the amount increases. A decrease in the proportion of expenditure on food will be followed by an increase in the proportion of expenditure on non-food. This study aims to determine the pattern of consumption of the people of the city of Mataram in terms of consumption of food and non-food and the implications for the economy of the city of Mataram.  The results was found that the higher the level of family income, the tendency for the proportion of expenditure on food to decrease, followed by an increase in the proportion of expenditure on non-food. Likewise, from the household size as reflected by the number of family members, the greater the number of family members, the higher the proportion of expenditure for food consumption, and on the other hand, the proportion for non-food expenditure decreases. From the results of the research, it was suggested to the Mataram City Government to conduct research related to mapping community consumption needs, especially non-food needs, to anticipate the supply of goods and services needed by the community, so that the government can anticipate community needs through more careful economic planning.

Abstract

The planning of the Altertantif Road Development Project in Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali Province was carried out to facilitate access to transportation in the area and to overcome traffic congestion at the Jalan Raya Kuta - Jalan Blambangan intersection. The implementation plan of the Road Construction Project over the Mati River, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali Province has various risks that may occur. Risk management is needed to minimize the impact and possibility of risks that will occur in the Road Construction project over the Dead River, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali Province. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, namely interviews and brainstorming with competent parties and parties involved in the Road Construction Project over the Dead River, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali Province with a total of 25 respondents. Each respondent responds to the likelihood of a risk occurring (likelihood) and responds to the impact/influence that occurs due to the risk (consequences), then will get a risk assessment by multiplying the mode value of the frequency/probability of risk occurrence (likelihood) with the mode value of the influence/impact of risk (consequences). In this study, 34 risk identifications were obtained. These risks include 6 (17.65%) unacceptable risks, 21 (61.76%) undesirable risks, 7 (20.59%) acceptable risks, and 0% or no risks classified as negligible
