Muwazah adalah jurnal kajian gender dengan ISSN Print: 2085-8353; Online: 2502-5368 yang diterbitkan oleh Pusat Studi Gender (PSG) IAIN Pekalongan. Kata Muwazah berasal dari bahasa Arab yaitu (??????) yang memiliki arti kesetaraan. Jurnal ini fokus pada isu-isu aktual dan kontemporer yang berkaitan dengan kajian gender lokalitas dalam berbagai perspektif. Redaksi mengundang para ilmuwan, sarjana, professional, praktisi dan peneliti dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu yang konsern terhadap kajian gender berupa analisis, aplikasi teori, hasil penelitian, terjemahan, resensi buku, literature review untuk mempublikasikan hasil karya ilmiahnya setelah melalui mekanisme seleksi naskah, telaah mitra bebestari, dan proses penyuntingan. Jurnal ini terbit setahun dua kali setiap bulan Juni dan Desember.

Abstract

Abstract : The de jure government has given full support in improving the quality and quantity of women's political, affirmative strategy of 30% quota for women. However, this strategy can not guarantee women's role in politics optimally. Therefore, sanggatlah important to make efforts to improve the quality and quantity of the representation of women's representation in politics. Especially in the context of democracy, which should give the right to the same opportunities to all the people, both men and women in voicing their aspirations as a manifestation of their political rights. Untuuk realize it all, required education as a vehicle for increasing women's political empowerment and the ability to actualize their role as citizens. Abstrak :  Secara  de yure,  Pemerintah telah memberikan dukungan penuh dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas politik, strategi afirmatif perempuan kuota 30% bagi perempuan. Namun, strategi ini tidak dapat menjamin peran perempuan dalam politik secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, sanggatlah penting untuk membuat upaya meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas representasi keterwakilan perempuan dalam politik. Terutama dalam konteks demokrasi, yang harus memberikan hak untuk kesempatan yang sama untuk semua orang, baik laki-laki dan perempuan dalam menyuarakan aspirasi mereka sebagai manifestasi dari hak-hak politik mereka. Untuuk mewujudkan itu semua, diperlukan pendidikan sebagai wahana untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan politik perempuan dan kemampuan untuk mengaktualisasikan peran mereka sebagai warga negara

Abstract

Although the issue of gender equality tobe a demand in almost all countries, but the fact is not easy to achieve gender equality. This appearance infected the construc of cultural patriarchy since long time ago for discriminating roles of men and women. This Social Construct go on from generation to generation. Actually, there is still hope for realize the gender equality, although it requires a process. Among them is through education by providing adequate access to women, to exercise control over every policy of gender bias, involving women to provide participation, and provide equitable benefits between men andwomen.Meskipun isu kesetaraan Gender (genderequality) menjadi tuntutan hampir di semua Negara, namun faktanya tidak mudah untuk mewujudkan kesetaraan gender. Hal ini dikarenakan konstruk budaya masyarakat melalui budaya Patriarki yang membeda-bedakan peran laki-laki dan perempuan. Konstruk budaya ini sudah berlangsung lama dari generasi ke generasi. Sebenarnya masih ada harapan untuk mewujudkan kesetaraan gender, meskipun membutuhkan proses, karena merubah budaya membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama. Diantaranya adalah melalui pendidikan dengan pemberian akses yang cukup kepadaperempuan, melakukan kontrol terhadap setiap kebijakan yang bias gender, melibatkan perempuan untuk memberikan partisipasinya, dan memberikan benefit yang adil antara lakilaki dan perempuan.

Abstract

Women in the tradition of the heroic world of the archipelago has entered a “decisive” and “threatening” presence of people for some people. As a result of rebel attacks around the world pierced by gender, women should have a prominent place. But there are efforts to theological, sociological, and culture that strives to create a new birth of compliance “” and “spiritual obedience” to the world of gender, with women as abdun needs (subject). Compliance is sometimes a real tangible in silence as a zombie “-a woman who in her” by the attacks that are considered absolute doctrine. Not a few of them accept injustice, alienation, and even violence that never imagined before. It should be emphasized, that heroic woman in the world there are a number of ideas that always lead to wrong interpretation and the process of exclusion (exemption) for women.

Abstract

Each individual is faced with the problem of life which demands an ability to make decisions. Decision-making ability of the individual to one another is not the same. This difference is due to the factors that influence decision-making, both internal factors, and external factors. The analysis of the tendency of decision-making ability of Javanese women is very interesting to do. The purpose of analysis in order to obtain a clear picture of the tendency of Javanese women in decision-making on issues that it faces life every day. In general, people use the four processes of different decision-making ability, the strategy of independent decision making, logical, hesitated, and impulsive. The results obtained by analysis of Java that women tend to make decisions carefully, do not rush, take more time to think, and need others to seek reinforcement. This is due to the belief of Javanese women, the decision may affect the lives of themselves and others. Therefore, the decision-making process is emphasized. The process through which relies on decision-making style. Javanese women tend to have a logical decision-making strategy.

Abstract

Abstract : Feminism movement comes forward in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. This movement pictures a woman in the position of the oppressed, and sistematically subordinate and ideologically imprisoned. In order to  release from the oppression, then, it has emerged in the history of some women's movement in Indonesia, in which women have moved forward and more focused in the improvement of the social position of women in marriage and family, and to improve the skills as a housewife by improving the education and the teaching as accompanied by an increase in skill. Abstrak : Gerakan Feminisme datang ke depan di berbagai belahan dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Gerakan ini menggambarkan seorang wanita di posisi tertindas, dan sistematis bawahan dan ideologis dipenjara. Untuk melepaskan dari penindasan, saat itu, muncul dalam sejarah gerakan beberapa perempuan di Indonesia, di mana perempuan telah bergerak maju dan lebih fokus dalam peningkatan posisi sosial perempuan dalam perkawinan dan keluarga, serta meningkatkan keterampilan sebagai ibu rumah tangga dengan meningkatkan pendidikan dan pengajaran sebagai disertai dengan peningkatan keterampilan.

Abstract

Human trafficking is one of the problems that still cannot be resolved in Indonesia.In general, there are still many problems from patterns of prevention and crime controlling of human trafficking which is currently being implemented. The movie of ‘Jamila and the President’ is a representation of a survey result conducted by a filmmaker who cares about women problems in this country, namely Ratna Sarumpaet. This research was developed from critical discourse analysis models by Sara Mills. The result showed that there was an impartiality of the state's role to a female victim of human trafficking which affects the moral aspect, gender, and the so many cases of human trafficking. The contribution of this study is to give knowledge and awareness of women to fight and or without someone’s help in order to fix their condition to be better. Human trafficking merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang masih belum dapat teratasi di Indonesia. Secara umum, masih terdapat banyak permasalahan dari implementasi pola pencegahan dan penanggulangan tindak pidana perdagangan orang (TPPO) yang saat ini telah dilaksanakan. Film Jamila dan Sang Presiden merupakan representasi dari hasil penelitian survei yang dilakukan oleh seorang sineas yang peduli tentang permasalahan perempuan di negeri ini, yakni Ratna Sarumpaet. Penelitian ini dikembangkan melalui analisis wacana kritis model Sara Mills. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat ketidakberpihakan peran negara kepada seorang perempuan korban human trafficking yang berdampak pada aspek moral, gender, dan makin maraknya kasus human trafficking. Adapun kontribusi dari penelitian ini ialah memberikan pemahaman kepada perempuan akan kesadaran mereka untuk berjuang dan atau tanpa bantuan pihak lain untuk dapat memperbaiki kondisi dirinya menjadi lebih baik. Di mana perempuan diperlakukan tidak adil, tersubordinasi, dieksploitasi, tidak dapat memperoleh haknya, dan dimarjinalkan.

Abstract

Main factor of marginalization in social, cultural, educational and political living isn’t only mistake thought or mind set toward women but also becouse of being supported by holistical texts which are poor critical interpretations toward Al-qur’an verses and deeds of prophet Muhammad. This writing aims to analize some misogini deeds which deem that women are placed as the second human who are unappropriate in entering men stage, so discoursed interpretations have consequence for marginalizing women into the edge of women deadlock in giving voice at their rights and duties, refering to the historical facts, on mattes pertaining to prophet Muhammad age showed that women weren’t as people thought about women living without getting their rights and duties as men ones, other wisw on the real facts, they struggled together with men to acquire rights and duties equally and to avoid discrimination as an impact of sex and gender gaps.

Abstract

This paper are the result of research that aims to find about formulation of the Marriage Law of Islam in Indonesia that are gender responsive. This normative juridical research method with the approach of legislation, conceptual and historical. Analysis of legal materials using prescriptive analysis, by interpretation, argumentation and legal logic. The results showed that, gender relations in Islam Marriage Law in Indonesia, as stipulated in Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage and the Compilation of Islamic Law, was still gender bias. This is evidenced by still many chapters to be scrutinized, particularly Article 31 paragraph (3) and Article 34, concerning husband-wife relationship patterns unequal gender. Therefore, the need for a reformulation of Islamic Marriage Law to make it more gender responsive. Legal issues are problematic in Marriage Law of Islam, namely concerning the minimum age of marriage, the marriage guardian, polygamy and nushuz also need reformulated, based on three basic values of law as an analysis, by considering the concepts of Islamic law, in order to study on the legal that are gender responsive acceptable by the people.Paper ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menemukan tentang formulasi mengenai Hukum Perkawinan Islam di Indonesia yang responsif gender. Penelitian yuridis normatif ini menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual dan historis. Analisis bahan hukum menggunakan preskriptif analisis, dengan penafsiran, argumentasi dan logika hukum. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, relasi gender dalam hukum perkawinan Islam di Indonesia, yang tertuang dalam Undang-Undang RI Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan dan Kompilasi Hukum Islam, masih bias gender. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan masih banyaknya pasal-pasal yang perlu dikritisi, khususnya Pasal 31 ayat (3) dan pasal 34, mengenai pola relasi suami-isteri yang tidak setara gender. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya reformulasi Hukum Perkawinan Islam agar lebih responsif gender. Isu hukum problematis dalam Hukum Perkawinan Islam, yaitu tentang batas usia menikah, wali nikah, poligami dan nusyūz juga harus direformulasi, berbais tiga nilai dasar hukum sebagai analisa, dengan mempertimbangkan konsep-konsep hukum Islam, agar kajian tentang hukum yang responsif gender,diterima oleh masyarakat.

Abstract: The green revolution, capitalism, neo-liberalism to corporate farming is a symbol of global forces that gave birth to unfairness for farmers especially women farmers. Even the injustice inflicted by global forces are increasingly marginalize women when in households, gender relations are constructed showing the existence of gender inequality. Therefore, the agenda must be in stretcher by the movement of women farmers should pay more attention to the unequal gender relations in the life of farmer households.

Abstract

Abstract : Women's Rights are rights held by a woman, because she was a human being and as a woman who has the dignity of humanity. Women's rights are part of human rights. As part of Human Rights, the Rights of Women is also provided in the Constitution is the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945. In particular, Women's Rights set in CEDAW which was ratified by the government through Act No. 7 of 1984 on ratification of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. Regulation on Rights of Women, giving responsibility and requires the state to respect, to protect and to fulfill the rights of Women. Abstrak : Hak-Hak Perempuan adalah hak yang dimiliki oleh seorang wanita, karena dia manusia dan sebagai seorang wanita yang memiliki martabat kemanusiaan. Hak-hak perempuan adalah bagian dari hak asasi manusia. Sebagai bagian dari Hak Asasi Manusia, Hak Perempuan juga disediakan dalam Konstitusi Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia tahun 1945. Secara khusus, Hak-Hak Perempuan diatur dalam CEDAW yang telah diratifikasi oleh pemerintah melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 1984 tentang ratifikasi konvensi Penghapusan Segala Bentuk Diskriminasi terhadap Perempuan.
