Abstract

This study aimed to know about the interrelationships between agribusiness subsystems, cost analysis, revenues, and profits in the development of starfruit in P4S Belimbing Artha Mandiri and to analyze the feasibility and sustainability of developing starfruit in P4S Belimbing Artha Mandiri. The analysis used is descriptive, cost analysis, sweet star fruit income, and financial feasibility analysis. The results showed that the agribusiness subsystems in P4S Belimbing Artha Mandiri were interrelated and supported one another and still have weaknesses in the processing and marketing subsystems. Over ten years, it has had an average revenue of Rp. 786,266,944, - with an average operational cost of Rp. 360,793,236, - so the average income received each year is Rp. 425,473,707, - There are four criteria for financial eligibility. The Net Present value (NPV) shows a value of Rp. 1,453,862,787.- IRR (Internal Rate of Return) shows a value of 41.72%, and PP (Payback Period) is at 1.26. The calculation of Net B/C in business starfruit cultivation is 3.87. The financial feasibility criteria show that the sweet star fruit cultivation business at P4S Belimbing Artha Mandiri is feasible and can continue.

Abstract

Low organic carbon and soil nitrogen content is one of the factors limiting Edamame productivity. This research aimed to determine the dose of cow manure and legin that produces the best growth and yield of Edamame soybeans. The experiment was carried out in Sinabun Village, Sawan District using a complete factorial randomized block design, with two factors, namely the dose of cow manure and legin. The research showed that a single dose of cow manure had no significant effect on the growth performance, yield, and soil fertility of edamame soybeans. Treating legin at a dose of 7.5 g.kg-1 seed can increase plant height growth and pod weight per plant.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out how the effect of vegetable waste on the quality of carcasses and non-carcasses of broiler chickens. The research used a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with five treatments and five tests. P0 (control of feed without vegetable waste), P1 (use of 5% vegetable waste in 100% of feed formulations), P2 (use of 10% of vegetable waste in 100% of feed formulations), P3 (use of 15% of vegetable waste in 100% of feed formulations), and P4 (use of 20% of vegetable waste in 100% of feed formulations) are the difference in the percentage of vegetable waste used in the study. The parameters observed the quality of carcasses and non-carcasses of broiler chickens. The results showed that the use of vegetable waste in broiler chicken feed did not have a significant effect on non-carcass weight but had a real impact on carcass weight. The results showed that the variable weight of broiler carcasses, especially treatment with 15% vegetable waste formulations, gave the best results

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the response of growth and yield of long bean plants to the application of organic goat manure fertilizer. The experiment used a randomized block design consisting of 4 treatments such as K0 = No fertilizer (control), K1 = 2 kg/goat manure plot, K2 = 3 kg/goat manure plot, and K3=6 kg/goat manure plot. The treatment was repeated three times. Each experimental plot contained 25 plants. Five plants from each plot were selected as samples. The results showed that the treatment with a dose of 7 kg/plot produced the highest long bean yields of 13.53 kg/plot and 8.22 t/ha, respectively. A fertilizer dose of 7 kg/plot is the recommended dose for the farmer when planting long beans.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine petung bamboo farming is feasible in the Bongok Forest for forest conservation and restoration. Data analysis used quantitatively, namely farming analysis, feasibility analysis, and sensitivity analysis using the feasibility criteria Gross Benefit Cost Ratio (Gross B/C), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate Of Raterun (IRR), Payback Period (PP), and Break Event Point (BEP). The income from farming is Rp. 1,720,750,000 from petung bamboo production for ten years where petung bamboo starts production in the 5th year with a total production of 48,650 stems multiplied by the price of petung bamboo at the farmer's level starting from Rp. 20,000 to Rp. 40,000 is calculated from the 5th year of production until the 10th year with an annual price increase of Rp. 5,000. Income is Rp.1,461,000,311 total income minus total expenditure on petung bamboo farming. Gross B/C is 22.18879511 1. Analysis of investment feasibility criteria shows that petung bamboo farming in the Bongok Forest is feasible. The NPV value of obtaining a profit of Rp. 830,795,931, IRR value 44.51% ( 6%), Net B/C Value of 81,633,855 1, Production BEP of 48650, and BEP price of IDR 4365.420357 and Payback Period can returned for a period of 5,989.

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the effects of the potato and banana extract supplements in fresh form and flour with different measurements on the growth of plantlet orchid Dendrobium sp in vitro. Factorial Random Planning (RAL) consists of two factors: type of additive and measurement against 16 combinations of treatments, and five repetitions. In total, there are 320 samples of plants. Observations included the percentage of live plantlets, the start time of the shoots, the shoot height, the number of leaves, the root initiation time, the root number, and the root length. The results of the study showed that there was an interaction between the type of additive and the mark against the percent of living plantlets at age 4, 8, and 12 weeks, the height of shoots at age 8 and 12, the root initiation times, the count of roots and the length of the root. The growth percentage ranges from 80-100%, except for the potato flour additive 200 g/l of 45%. Potato and banana additives in the form of flour can increase the start time of the shoots faster than in the fresh form.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of cutting position and the concentration of onion extract as a natural hormone on stevia stem cutting propagation. This study used a Factorial Completely randomized design in which the first factor was Apical Cutting (P1), Middle cutting (P2), and Bassal Cutting (P3), and the second factor was control (R0), shallot extract concentration 25% (R1), shallot extract concentration 50%(R2), shallot extract concentration 75% (R3), shallot extract concentration 100% (R4) and Rootone F 25 ppm (R5). The position of cutting has significantly resulted in Times of bud growth, number of roots, number of leaves, and plant height. The concentration of shallot extract has significant results in times of bud growth, number of roots, length of root, number of leaves, plant height, weight of plant, and weight of dry plant. The best performance was apical cuttings and shallot extract concentration of 100%.
