Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap pemahaman konsep pada Pembelajaran Biologi Siswa SMP di Kecamatan Banjarmasin Barat. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experiment dengan melibatkan kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Rancangan penelitian dari kuasi eksperimen yang digunakan adalah The Nonequivalent Pretes–Postes Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Kelas VII di Kecamatan Banjarmasin Barat. Penentuan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah SMPN 25 Banjarmasin kelas VIIC sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SMPN 33 Banjarmasin Kelas VIIC sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen difasilitasi dengan model inkuiri terbimbing dan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pretes dan postes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik statistik deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan data dari variabel penelitian. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan teknik analisis varian One Way Anova yang dibantu oleh program SPSS versi 16 for Windows. Taraf signifikansi dalam pengujian hipotesis adalah 0,05 (p ≤ 0,05). Sebelum analisis varians, dilakukan dahulu uji asumsi yaitu (1) uji normalitas data dan (2) uji homogenitas varian. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh penerapan bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap pemahaman konsep pada Pembelajaran Biologi Siswa SMP di Kecamatan Banjarmasin Barat karena p = 0,002 < α = 0,05. AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the application of guided inquiry-based teaching materials on the understanding of concepts in Biology Learning of Middle School Students in West Banjarmasin District. This type of research is a quasi experiment involving treatment groups and control groups. The research design of the quasi experiment used was The Nonequivalent Pretest-Postes Control Group Design. The population in this study were Grade VII junior high school students in West Banjarmasin District. Determination of samples using random sampling. The research sample was SMPN 25 Banjarmasin class VIIC as an experimental class and SMP 33 Banjarmasin class VIIC as a control class. The experimental class is facilitated with a guided inquiry model and control class using conventional learning. Data collection techniques using pretest and posttest. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical techniques to describe data from the research variables. Hypothesis testing was carried out with One Way Anova variant analysis technique which was assisted by SPSS version 16 for Windows. The significance level in testing the hypothesis is 0.05 (p ≤ 0.05). Before the analysis of variance, the assumption was tested, namely (1) data normality test and (2) variant homogeneity test. The conclusion of the study is that there is an effect of the application of guided inquiry-based teaching materials on the understanding of concepts in Biology Learning of Junior High School Students in West Banjarmasin District because p = 0.002 <α = 0.05.

Abstract

Salah satu metode mengajar yang telah dikembangkan dan terbukti dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar  adalah metode asosiasi. Metode asosiasi disebut juga sebagai metode mnemonik atau jembatan keledai digunakan untuk mengingat konsep-konsep penting dalam semua mata pelajaran. Metode asosiasi adalah hubungan antara tanggapan yang satu dengan tanggapan yang lainnya dalam jiwa kita.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui motivasi sebelum dan setelah  penerapan metode asosiasi pada siswa kelas VII  SMP IT Al-Fityan Gowa, (2) mengetahui hasil belajar biologi sebelum dan setelah penerapan metode asosiasi pada siswa kelas VII  SMP IT Al-Fityan Gowa, (3) mengetahui pengaruh metode asosiasi terhadap motivasi pada siswa  kelas VII  SMP IT Al-Fityan Gowa, dan (4) mengetahui pengaruh metode asosiasi terhadap hasil belajar pada siswa  kelas VII  SMP IT Al-Fityan Gowa.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimen karena penelitian ini belum sepenuhnya mengontrol faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal penelitian. Populasi dalam  penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII di SMP IT  Al-Fityan Gowa, semester genap terdiri dari empat kelas tiap kelas masing-masing berjumlah 26 dan 27 sehingga jumlah populasi keseluruhan adalah  107 siswa pada tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan tehnik purposive sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampel bertujuan dengan melihat karakteristik populasi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan memilih dua kelas dari empat kelas VII yang ada, yang memiliki karakteristik hampir sama berdasarkan informasi dari sekolah tempat penelitian. Kelas yang dimaksud yaitu kelas VII C yang berjumlah 27 orang dan kelas VII D yang berjumlah 27 orang. Kedua kelas tersebut dibelajarkan dengan dua metode pembelajaran yang berbeda, yaitu kelas VII C dibelajarkan dengan metode asosiasi sebagai kelas eksperimen/perlakuan dan  kelas VII D  dibelajarkan dengan metode ceramah (konvensional) sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) motivasi belajar biologi siswa sebelum penerapan metode asosiasi adalah rata-rata 37,74 dan sesudah penerapan metode asosiasi adalah 79,78 (2) hasil belajar siswa sebelum penerapan metode asosiasi  adalah rata-rata  45,22 dan hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan metode  asosiasi adalah  rata-rata 81.44  (3) penerapan metode asosiasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar biologi siswa. (4) penerapan metode asosiasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa. PENGARUH  METODE  ASOSIASI  TERHADAP  PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI  DAN  HASIL  BELAJAR  SISWA  PADA MATA PELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI  SEKOLAH  MENENGAH PERTAMA  ISLAM  TERPADU  (SMP IT)  AL-FITYAN GOWA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi awal untuk mengeksplorasi potensi probiotikBakteri Asam Laktat (BAL) dari dangke, makanan tradisional dari susu sapi dikabupaten Enrekang. Probiotik adalah mikroorganisme hidup yang bila diberikandalam jumlah yang cukup memberikan manfaat kesehatan pada inangnya. Salahsatu mikroorganisme yang berpotensi menjadi probiotik adalah bakteri asam laktatyang banyak ditemukan pada susu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuibakteri asam laktat yang terdapat pada dangke dengan bahan dasar susu sapi.Isolasi BAL menggunakan media selektif de Man Rogosa Sharpe Agar. BAL akanmenunjukkan zona bening pada medium MRS setelah penambahan indikatorCaCO3 dan diinkubasi selama 24 jam. Seleksi dilakukan dengan mengamatimorfologi sel, pewarnaan Gram, dan uji biokimia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa isolat yang diperoleh terdiri dari dua spesies yaitu Lactobacillus fermentumdan Lactobacillus acidophilus yang menunjukkan gram positif dan katalasenegatif.

Abstract

This type of research is a quasi experiment (quasi experiment) with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design design. This study aims to determine (1) students' learning motivation on the material of the respiratory system through the application of cooperative learning model of TPS without concept map, (2) student learning motivation on the material of the respiratory system through the application of cooperative learning model of TPS combined with concept map, (3) Student learning outcomes on the material of the respiratory system through the application of cooperative learning model of TPS without concept map, (4) student learning outcomes on the material of the respiratory system through the application of cooperative learning model of TPS combined concept map, (5) whether or not there is difference of students' Material of respiratory system through application of cooperative learning model of TPS combined with concept map and without concept map, and (6) whether or not there is difference of student learning result on the material of respiratory system through application of cooperative learning model of TPS combined with concept map and without concept map. The research population is all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 5 Makassar even semester of academic year 2013 - 2014 which consists of eight classes with total students as much as 256 students. The sample of the research is the students of class XI IPA1 and XI IPA2 which amounted to 69 people. Sampling technique is done by random class technique (random class). The data were obtained through two instruments: questionnaire of learning motivation and learning result test. The results showed that (1) the students' biology learning motivation in the control class experienced an increase in average score of 4.60; (2) students' biology learning motivation in experiment class increased by 4.38; (3) students' biology learning outcomes in the control class experienced an increase of 44.71; (4) students' biology learning outcomes in the experimental class increased by 58.72; (5) application of cooperative learning model of TPS type combined concept map significantly influence student's learning motivation; (6) the application of cooperative learning model of TPS type combined concept map has significant effect on student biology learning outcomes.

Abstract

Kebutuhan pangan nasional dapat dilakukan upaya diversifikasi pangan yaitu pemanfaatan kelompok umbi-umbian seperti Talas Beneng (Xanthosoma undipes K.Koch) yang merupakan salah satu jenis flora umbi-umbian khas Provinsi Banten. Produktivitas talas beneng dapat ditingkatkan yaitu salah satunya dengan menggunakan pupuk hayati mengandung mikroorganisme hidup yang bermanfaat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan melakukan penapisan terhadap cendawan endofit akar asal rhizosfer talas beneng sehingga dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai pupuk hayati untuk meningkatkan produktivitas talas beneng. Sebanyak 19 isolat cendawan berhasil diisolasi melalui teknik isolasi langsung dan pengumpanan. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan jenis cendawan dari genus Acremonium, Aspergillus, Aureobasidium, Curvularia, Fusarium, Penicillium, Paecilomyces, Trichoderma, dan beberapa isolat yang belum teridentifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penapisan diperoleh sebanyak 12 isolat merupakan cendawan endofit akar dan 5 isolat merupakan cendawan parasit akar. Kata Kunci: Cendawan endofit akar, talas beneng, rhizosfer

Abstract

Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif yang bertujuan 1) untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai keterlaksanaan praktikum biologi kelas X  pokok bahasan hewan tak bertulang belakang (avertebrata) di SMU Negeri 9 Makassar 2) untuk mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang dialami pada keterlaksanaan praktikum biologi kelas X  pokok bahasan hewan tak bertulang belakang (avertebrata) di SMU Negeri 9 Makassar 3) untuk mengetahui alternatif/ usaha-usaha yang dilakukan oleh guru biologi terhadap tidak terlaksananya praktikum biologi kelas X  pokok bahasan hewan tak bertulang belakang (avertebrata) di SMU Negeri 9 Makassar.Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah memfokuskan pada guru biologi kelas X. Teknik pengambilan sasaran penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sampling jenuh.Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi sebagai instrumen penelitian. Data yang diperoleh di analisis dengan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterlaksanaan praktikum biologi kelas X  pokok bahasan hewan tak bertulang belakang (avertebrata) di SMU Negeri 9 Makassar belum terlaksana secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This research is aimed to find out description self action,  selfefficacy,  and of students’ creativity also to effect of self actionand self efficacy towards the students’ creativity in general biology practical lab.The population of this research was the all students of Biology Education Department, UIN Alauddin Makassar starting from 2012 generation until 2015 generation that consist   11 classes with amount of 400 students. While the sample have taken  by used  of  Simple Random Samplingtechnique,sothatthis research  obtained74 students. The Instrument was used questioner. Data analysis technique was used descriptive statistic and inferential technique.The results of this research through descriptive analysis obtained mean score for self action was 70,20 in the medium category, mean score of self efficacy was 45,28 in the medium category, and mean score of students’ creativity was  51,93 in the medium category. Inferential statistic analysis results with F tes obtained that score Fcount>Ftable (13,778>3,13). Thus, it can be concluded that there is significant effect between self action and self  efficacy towards  students’ creativity in  general  biology practical  lab  at  Biology Education Department of UIN Alauddin Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) know the learning outcomes of science subject of cell learners using learning strategy Probing Prompting class VII students SMPN 3 Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa, (2) to know the learning result of science subject of student cell without using learning strategy of Probing Prompting of class VII SMPN 3 Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa, (3) to know whether there is influence of learning strategy of Probing Prompting to learning result of IPA of cell subject of student class VII SMPN 3 Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa.This research is Quasi Experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research. The population in this study is all students of class VII SMPN 3 Sungguminasa consisting of 11 classes with the number of students as many as 353 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. The sample in this study is class VII J which amounted to 32 students and class VII K which amounted 32 students. Instruments used to determine the larning outcomes of learners in the form of multiple choice test as many as 20 numbers. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis with t-test.The results obtained in both groups through descriptive statistical analysis, the average learning outcomes of learners using learning strategy Probing Prompting of = 80,53 whereas the average learning outcomes of group learners without using the strategy of learning Probing Prompting of = 77,06. The result of inferential analysis of data shows that the significance value obtained tcal 4,663 > ttable 1,671 and significance (0,000 < 0,05). So it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of the use of learning strategy Probing Prompting on learning outcomes IPA subject of cell learners class VII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa.

Abstract

Problems of this study were (1) How do the results portrayed study biology that used the Problem Posing in class XI SMA Yapip IPA_1 SungguminasaGowa on the material digestive system? (2) How the results portrayed study biology that used the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) in class XI IPA2 SMA Yapip Sungguminasa Gowa on the material digestive system? (3) Are there differences in learning outcomes biology using the method of Problem Posing Methods Inside Outside Circle (IOC) and the students of class XI and class XI IPA1 IPA 2 SMA YapipSungguminasaGowa on the material digestive system? (1) To know the description of learning outcomes biology group using the method of Problem Posing (2) To know the description of learning outcomes biology group that used the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) (3) To determine differences in learning outcomes biology between groups using the method of Problem Posing and Method of Inside Outside Circle (IOC).This type of research is experimental. The study population was all students of class XI SMA Yapip Sungguminasa Gowa 2013-2014 school year totaling 110 students, divided into three classes. Samples were taken by simple random sampling method; the experiment was elected to class XI IPA 1 as much as 31 student elected as the control class is the class XI IPA 2 as many as 31 students. The study design used is ekspereimen-control. Data collection techniques using test instruments in the form of essay amounted to 10 numbers. Techniques of data analysis was done using descriptive and inferential analysis. Previously defined significance is = 0.05. After treatment in both the experimental group and the control class descriptive statistical analysis of the results obtained by the average result of learning biology experimental group = 75 whereas the average rat study results control class = 62. The results of inferential analysis of data using t test showed that the values obtained t_hitung = 10.74 and the value of T_ (table) amounted = 2.02 in the sense that the value t_hitung> than the value of T_ (table) or (10.74> 2.02), so it can be concluded that H_O rejected and the diterima.hal H_1 shows that there is a significant difference to the learning outcomes of students in biology teaching by using the method of Problem Posing higher than students in teaching by using Method Inside Outside Cicrcle (IOC).

Abstract

The problems in this study were (1) How the learning outcome of students using SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review), on the sense of human auditory material in the class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Kab. Gowa, (2) How does the learning outcome of students using SQ4R (Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, and Review), on the sense of human auditory material in the class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Kab. Gowa, and (3) Are there differences in learning outcomes of students using SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review), and using methods SQ4R (Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, and Review) on the sense of human auditory senses material in the class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Kab. Gowa.This study is a Quasi-Experimental Research Design with Posttest Only Control Design. In this design there are two groups and each use one of the treatment. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The population in this study was all students of SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Kab. Gowa with 325 students divided to of seven classes. The samples are class VIII6 and VIII7, each of class with 40 students. Data was collected using a test instrument with multiple choice questions of 20 questions and the observation sheet. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis.The results obtained in both groups through a descriptive statistical analysis, the average results of studying biology teaching methods SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review) is 57.98 while the average result of learning biology using strategies SQ4R learning (Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, and Review) is 61.37. The results of inferential analysis data show that significant value obtained is tcount 48.42> ttable 2,000 and significance (0.000 <0.05).
