Abstract

Small and Medium Industries (IKM) have an important role in economic development. Muaro Jambi Regency is one of the districts in Jambi Province whose people are engaged in small and medium industrial businesses (IKM). This is inseparable from the important role of the Muaro Jambi Regency Government in supporting the development of small and medium industries (IKM). SMEs in Muaro Jambi Regency are grouped into 5 groups, namely craft SMEs, chemical and building materials SMEs, metal and electronics SMEs, food SMEs, and clothing SMEs. Of these 5 groups, it is necessary to know which group of IKM is growing widely both in terms of the number of IKM, number of workers, investment value and production value. The aim of this research is to find out and analyze which small and medium industrial groups (IKM) are superior in Muaro Jambi district and help simplify the process of selecting superior SMEs in Muaro Jambi district. The analytical model used to determine priorities for leading small and medium industries in Muaro Jambi district is the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) model. The SAW model is used to formulate a weighted sum of priorities for the performance ranking of each alternative on all attributes, while the system design method uses the System Prototyping method. The result of this research is the SPK system with the SAW model which shows that the leading small and medium industries in Muaro Jambi district selected based on predetermined criteria are the Chemical and Building Materials industry with a total of 0.813

Abstract

The significant shift in the utilization of technology has led most universities worldwide to adopt various digital platforms. Academic information systems represent one such technological implementation that plays a crucial role in the retention and success of academic and non-academic activities within higher education institutions. Although many institutions, including Garut University, have developed academic information systems, UI/UX remain significant issues. Suboptimal interface design can cause user frustration, reduce productivity, decrease cognitive performance, affect users' emotional responses, and even lower the technology adoption rate. This research was conducted to provide system recommendations by analyzing and designing the UI/UX of the academic information system at Garut University using the design thinking method. The recommendations are presented as prototypes developed using the Figma. The prototypes were tested with 30 respondents using the HEART Framework, presented in a goal-signal-metric format, with the highest or strongly agreed responses recorded for all variables: happiness at 58.89%, engagement at 57.78%, adoption at 76.67%, retention at 66.67%, and task success at 61.11%. These results indicate that the adoption variable obtained the highest score, suggesting that the information within the academic information system meets user needs, is easy to learn, and that the system quality is rated as good.

Abstract

Pemilihan laptop yang tepat sangat penting, terutama di tengah beragamnya pilihan produk dengan spesifikasi dan harga yang bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) untuk membantu pengguna dalam menentukan laptop terbaik berdasarkan beberapa kriteria utama, yaitu kinerja, harga, dan fitur tambahan. Dalam metode SAW, setiap alternatif laptop dievaluasi dengan proses normalisasi, lalu dikalikan dengan bobot yang ditetapkan untuk setiap kriteria, menghasilkan nilai preferensi akhir yang menjadi dasar penentuan peringkat laptop. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode SAW efektif dan fleksibel dalam memberikan rekomendasi laptop yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Laptop HP D dinilai sebagai pilihan terbaik berdasarkan kriteria yang diutamakan dalam penelitian ini. Metode SAW terbukti membantu dalam memudahkan proses seleksi produk teknologi dengan berbagai kriteria multiatribut, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai panduan bagi konsumen dalam mengambil keputusan yang lebih objektif.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design android application as English learning media for vocational high school by using Kodular. Based on the pre-observation, the researchers found out that the students had limit resources to learn English since they only have one source from the book, the students demanded to have learning sources that can be used anytime and everywhere. Besides, it is expected that it is able to help the students to learn more about TOEIC. The researchers decided to design android application as English learning media by using Kodular. It can be applied to students’ smartphone and will be able to be accessed anytime and everywhere. Research & Development is used as research method. There are several steps to be conducted, they are: 1) analyze students’ need; 2) collecting data; 3) designing prototype; 4) trying out product; 5) final product. The result of this research is English android application based on Kodular, namely EnglishEasy.

Abstract

To determine the best employees based on various performance criteria, such as work quality, punctuality, discipline and initiative, this research examines the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method was chosen because of its ability to report employee evaluations and weightings objectively through normalization and assigning weights according to the level of importance of each criterion. This method collects employee performance data from trusted literature sources such as Google Scholar and SINTA, and uses calculations and rankings to produce a list of employees with the highest scores that can be used for promotions or awards. The research results show that the SAW method can be relied on in the performance-based decision making process and helps companies manage human resources better, increase employee motivation, and create a more productive work environment. For future research, this method could be further developed by adding standards such as adaptability and leadership, and testing it on various industries to see if it is suitable for them.

Abstract

This research discusses the application of SAW and AHP methods in the selection process of scholarship recipients at LIPIA Jakarta. Given the complexity of assessing potential recipients, both methods are evaluated to determine which one provides the most accurate and efficient results. SAW and AHP methods are used to process the assessment of several criteria, such as Arabic Written Test, Arabic Oral Test, Diploma Score, Memorization and Good Behavior which have been given weights and scales according to their importance. The main objective of this research is to compare the effectiveness of the two methods in determining scholarship recipients who meet the criteria at LIPIA. The results of this comparison are expected to provide recommendations regarding the most suitable method to improve objectivity, accuracy, and efficiency in scholarship selection.

Abstract

PT Pos Indonesia is one of the state-owned companies in Indonesia engaged in postal and logistics services. Pos Indonesia launched a new innovation by creating the PosAja application which aims to facilitate customers in sending packages and letters. However, there are features of PosAja that need to be improved based on the results of reviews from users, including a lack of understanding of the features of the PosAja application, users find it difficult to track the position of goods and the delivery flow is not clear or the position of the goods is not mentioned. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the PosAja application so that it can be even better in its future services.  This research uses the UX Honeycomb method to improve user experience in a digital product or service. The system design uses the Unified Modeling Language and is implemented using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of the user experience evaluation of the PosAja application with the UX Honeycomb method show that the average value of variables that can be accessed is 3.57, can be found by 3.93, can be used by 3.76, useful by 4.05, valuable by 3.95, desirable by 4.19, and credible. by 3.82 which means that the value is included in the good category. Desirable, useful and valuable variables have a high average value which indicates that this application is needed by users and the variable accessed has the lowest average which indicates that this application needs improvement and improvement in terms of access speed. The results of the above research can provide recommendations to PT. POS to increase access speed so that users find it easier to use the application even though it is through cellphone media with insufficient signal due to geographical factors of users.

Abstract

Information technology plays an important role in improving public services in the government sector, including in the Dinas Penanaman Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja Kota Lhokseumawe. This research aims to measure the level of capability and maturity level and provide input and suggestions for improving IT management with a focus on processes that have been produced from design factors including, APO04, APO08, BAI01, BAI02, BAI03, BAI05, BAI06, BAI07, BAI08. The method applied in the research is case analysis at DPMPTSP-NAKER Lhokseumawe City, with data collection carried out through observation, interviews, filling in design factors, determining respondents using the RACI Chart and distributing questionnaires. Next, the data was analyzed with reference to COBIT 2019. Based on the research results, it was found that the APO04 process objective is at level 1, APO08 is at level 3, BAI01 is at level 1, BAI02 is at level 2, BAI03 is at level 1, BAI05 is  at level 1, BAI06  is at level 1, BAI07 is at level 1, BAI08 is at level 1. Capability can be improved by carrying out activities that have not been carried out by the agency until it reaches fully achieved status at each level.

Abstract

Teknologi merupakan bidang ilmu yang memiliki perkembangan sangat pesat. Era modernasi sekarang teknologi merambah di dalam berbagai bidang ilmu, baik dunia pendidikan, ekonomi, produksi, serta teknologi AI yang beberapa tahun terakhir berkembang semakin pesat. Teknologi AI ini menawarkan solusi alternatif dalam olahraga disabilitas guna meningkatkan kinerja, aksesibilitas, inklusivitas, dan inovasi salah satunya pada olahraga tenis lapangan duduk. Peran teknologi ini sebagai solusi permasalahan pada olahraga disabilitas dengan teknologi AI berbasis computer vision dan AI berbasis robotika.Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and development dengan model ADDIE (analisis,desain, development, implementasi dan evalusi). Hasilnya tahap pertama observasi terdapat permasalahan akurasi dalam mengarahkan bola tenis dan terkendala dalam pengambilan bola tenis bagi penyandang disabilitas menggunakan kursi roda, mendesain produk hasil obsevasi, pengembangan hasil desain yang telah dibuat, implementasi hasil pengembambangan produk ke penyandang disabilitas terakhir evaluasi hasil dari pengimplementasian produk teknologi dengan hasil teknologi robotika dinyatakan “cukup”, teknologi computer vison dinyatakan “Baik”.

Abstract

Twitter is one of the social media networks used by the public to express opinions, criticisms and points of view. A topic that has been widely discussed is the free lunch work program promoted by the presidential candidate pair Prabowo and Gibran. The existence of pros and cons in assessing a policy or work program is very high, an approach is needed to analyze public sentiment towards the program. Analysis of public sentiment towards this program is important to provide an overview of how well the program is received by the public and how public opinion affects the program. This research aims to determine the sentiment category towards the free lunch program using the Naive Bayes method. This research involves collecting and analyzing tweets related to “Free Lunch Program” from Twitter(X), using authentication tokens. The data was processed through pre-processing, then classified with Multinomial Naive Bayes. A total of 1902 data were obtained from labeling with the Lexicon Based method. The results obtained 84.06% accuracy, 83.9% precision, 98.9% recall, and 90.70% F1-score calculated using confusion matrix. The sentiment analysis results show that the majority of community responses tend to be positive, in other words, the community supports and is optimistic about the free lunch work program which can directly provide social benefits to the community in fulfilling basic needs
