Abstract

This research aims to analyse and demonstrate the influence of entrepreneurial competence, religious culture, and pedagogical competence on graduate quality, as well as to describe an implementation model based on interview results. Employing a mixed-methods approach with an explanatory sequential design, this study involved State Madrasah Aliyah teachers in eight cities/regencies of Banten Province, Indonesia. A sample of 349 teachers was selected through proportional stratified random sampling. The results indicate that the entrepreneurial competence of Madrasah Principals (X1), religious culture (X2), and pedagogical competence (X3) significantly and simultaneously influence graduate quality (Y), with a p-value of .000 (p < .05). The R-squared value of 0.844 suggests that 84.4% of the variance in graduate quality can be explained by these three independent variables. Among these, pedagogical competence (X3) exhibits the strongest and most significant influence on graduate quality, as indicated by its t-value. To optimize the influence of these variables, the study recommends a transformational leadership approach to foster synergy between entrepreneurial leadership, religious culture, and teacher pedagogy. This approach can facilitate the development of innovative programs and policies that create meaningful learning experiences, ultimately producing graduates who are not only academically proficient and spiritually grounded, but also possess strong character and relevant skills to meet societal needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the evolution of research in the field of educational technology using a bibliometric approach based on Scopus data. From an initial dataset of 9,783 articles, a systematic selection process using the PRISMA protocol narrowed the focus to 29 relevant articles for in-depth analysis. Utilizing VOSviewer software, the study explores keyword trends, co-authorship networks, and institutional as well as national affiliations involved in the field. The analysis reveals a growing interest in topics such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, e-learning, and bibliometric methods within educational technology. In addition, the study identifies leading contributing countries, prominent research institutions, and highly cited papers. These findings provide a comprehensive overview of the recent developments in educational technology research. The implications of this study are expected to offer valuable insights for researchers and stakeholders in identifying research gaps and designing future research agendas that are more aligned with current technological and educational advancements.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic values and modern management theories in educational management represents a strategic response to the challenges of contemporary education. Islamic values such as trust (amanah), honesty, justice, responsibility, and deliberation provide strong ethical foundations that can synergize with modern management principles, including efficiency, effectiveness, transformational leadership, Total Quality Management (TQM), and data-driven decision-making. This integration enables the development of an educational management system that not only emphasizes academic excellence, but also prioritizes character formation, moral integrity, and spiritual development. This study employs a qualitative approach through library research, using content analysis of relevant academic literature, scientific journals, books, and policy documents related to Islamic education management and modern management theory. The analysis focuses on synthesizing key management concepts such as POAC (Planning, Organizing, Mobilizing, and Controlling) with core Islamic values to construct a holistic and value-based management framework. The findings indicate that the integration of Islamic values with modern management theories can strengthen institutional governance, enhance leadership effectiveness, and support sustainable quality improvement in educational institutions. This conceptual study contributes to the development of an integrative educational management perspective that balances spirituality, ethics, and modern organizational effectiveness, while providing a theoretical foundation for future empirical research in Islamic education management.

Abstract

This study discusses the problem of implementing the Decentralization of education in Indonesia, which is often hampered by the lack of attention from regional heads to education. This study aims to analyze the impact of the decentralization of education on the quality of education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) and to understand the challenges its implementation faces. The method used was a systematic literature review, which collected data from 20 relevant articles from 2020 to 2024, taken from the Google Scholar database. The study results show that the Decentralization of education provides autonomy to local governments and schools to manage education according to local needs. However, there is still a disparity in the quality of education between regions due to differences in budget and infrastructure. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of political commitment from regional heads, capacity building of human resources, and collaboration between central and regional governments to achieve the goal of more equitable and quality education. The study also recommends stricter supervision and community participation in educational decision-making to reduce inequalities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the direct and indirect impacts of school culture and principal leadership on school quality as measured by teacher performance in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java Province. The main problem in this study is how the relationship between school culture, principal leadership, and teacher performance in shaping school character. This study uses a quantitative approach with a path analysis method to evaluate the relationship between these variables. The research subjects consisted of 91 participants who were prospective teachers from the sixth group in Wonosobo Regency. Data analysis techniques included classical assumption tests, path analysis with trimming techniques, and the Sobel test to test the mediation effect. The results indicate that principal leadership does not directly affect teacher performance, but is directly influenced by school culture. Teacher effectiveness is the result of the combined influence of school culture and principal leadership. In addition, school culture, principal leadership, and teacher performance contribute to the formation of school character. Teacher performance acts as a direct mediator between principal leadership and school character, as well as an additional mediator between school culture and school character. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening school culture and the role of teacher performance in improving the quality of school character.

Abstract

This study describes the management of the Movers Teacher Education program and identifies the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at the Guru Penggerak (Movers Teacher) Education Center (BGP) in Jambi Province, Indonesia. The study focuses on the effectiveness of program implementation within the context of education management. A qualitative research approach was used, with data collected from the BGP Jambi Province, including the Head of BGP, Head of the General Sub-Division, Program Implementation Coordinator, and Sub-coordinator of the Teacher Mover Program. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and document studies, then analyzed using Miles,Huberman, and Saldana's six-step inductive analysis model. The findings indicate that program management is conducted through three main functions: planning, implementation, and evaluation, which align with the DG GTK policies. Planning involves strategy development and working group formation; implementation includes online learning, individual mentoring, and workshops; and evaluation is conducted using the LMS in SIMPKB and the SIMERDEKA application. Supporting factors for implementation include collaboration with BPMP and local education offices, while obstacles include limited human resources, scheduling mismatches, and geographical challenges in mentoring. The conclusion highlights that program management has been executed in accordance with management functions. These findings imply the importance of strengthening coordination and resource allocation to optimize the program

Abstract

Digital transformation in educational management demands a more adaptive, accurate, and data-driven evaluation system. Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds great potential to transform learning evaluation from a mere academic assessment to a strategic tool for institutional decision-making. This article aims to explore the role of AI in educational evaluation and managerial strategies required for its adaptive and contextual adoption. Using a qualitative literature review approach from accredited journal sources, the study finds that AI has been implemented in various forms such as computerized adaptive testing, NLP-based essay scoring, student character monitoring, and predictive decision-support systems. However, structural barriers such as limited infrastructure, low digital competence, and lack of technical regulation hinder widespread adoption. Effective managerial strategies must include digital leadership, structured implementation roadmaps, data literacy, ethical governance, and locally participatory approaches. The article concludes that AI integration in learning evaluation must be guided by the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Data-Driven Decision Making (DDDM) frameworks to truly enhance education quality.
