Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the model of the application of character education in Islamic education as well as to study the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of character education in the learning of Islamic Religious Education at Islamic Elementary School, Tirtayasa in the city of Serang. This study uses qualitative analytical descriptive methods. Data were collected by using in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that the model of the application of character education in the teaching of Islamic education in Tirtayasa Islamic Elementary School principals and teachers had made school programs consisting of habits related to religious values, as well as subjects debated by students who would get used to the Dhuha prayer and read the Quran, familiarizing Dhuhur prayer in congregation and Ashar prayer in congregation in the school mosque, and memorizing short letters or juz Amma in Islamic religious education subjects to support student religious relations. In addition students are also required to arrive on time and to be sanctioned if they come late to deliver disciplined students, students are prohibited from cheating during tests to practice honesty of students, and students are required to move class pickets as provided to improve the comfort of answers. The inhibiting factor is that each student has different abilities and different motivations that cause difficulties in conditioning students to learn

Abstract

This study aims to know: (1) the accuracy of the translation of the Quran Surah Ali Imran published by Religious Affair, (2) the clarity of translation in terms of structure, diction, and spelling, and (3) the general readers’ responses to that surah. These objectives can be achieved through the qualitative and quantitative analysis by comparing the translation with the source passage through the utilization of the verse. Next, the researcher asked the general readers and expert readers on the clarity of Religious Affair‘s translation by comparing it with other translations. The analysis found that the translation is correct, but poorly understood by the reader because the sentence structure complicated, less precise choice of words, sentence length, and less careful in spelling. After this weakness improved and the general reader asked their responses, it was found that the improvement translation is easier to understand than Religious Affair’s translation. Therefore, it is suggested that the translation is aligned with some of the conclusions of this study.

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted to find solutions to problems faced by class IXB students of SMP N 2 Sumberlawang because of the low student learning outcomes in physics subjects. The purpose of this classroom action research is to find out: 1. how much increase in student learning outcomes through the Discovery Learning model using power point media on magnetism material, 2. the role of the Discovery Learning model using power point media on magnetism material to changes in student learning behavior. This research used a classroom action research type where 31 students of class IXB were given learning treatment through the Discovery Learning model using power point media on magnetism material. Learning outcomes and student learning behavior were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. In this classroom action research, there are 2 cycles, each of which consists of 4 activities, namely: 1. planning, 2. action, 3. observation, 4. reflection. The results of this classroom action research show that: (1) the Discovery Learning model using power point media can improve physics learning outcomes in magnetic materials. This can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes in cycle I to cycle II, namely 73.90 to 75.60, (2) the Discovery Learning model using power point media on magnetic material can change student learning behavior for the better. This can be seen from the increase in teacher observation scores from cycle I to cycle II by 3.57 to 3.64 and an increase in student positive behavior from 66.77% in cycle I to 82.26% in cycle II, as well as a reduction in student negative behavior. from 33.23% in cycle I to 17.74% in cycle II.

Abstract

The equation of chemical reactions can be synchronized in several ways, including the mathematical equation of chemical reactions. In an equivalent chemical reaction, the relationship of any amount of product and reactant usually forms a ratio of a round number. An understanding of the chemical reaction equation is needed to understand the stoichiometric material, since stoichiometry is the basic material that must be well understood as the foundation for the understanding of subsequent chemicals. Stoichiometry can be used to calculate the amount of product that can be produced from a given number of reactants..

Abstract

The role of the teacher relates to how a teacher is able to understand and determine the limits that must be done in organizing material, interacting and doing the learning process. Violent behavior is the use of force or force with the aim of hurting a weaker person or group so that the victim feels depressed or traumatized and helpless. This study aims to determine the role of teachers in preventing violent behavior in SMP Negeri I Kuta Malaka Aceh Besar. This research is descriptive with a cross-sectional study approach through the total sampling technique. Research data collection was carried out on 5 to 7 December 2019 in SMP Negeri I Kuta Malaka Aceh Besar with a total of 28 respondents, data collection tools used in the form of a questionnaire scale consisting of 20 question items. Data analysis is presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The results showed that 64.3% had a teacher's role as a corrector for the prevention of violent behavior in schools, 60.7% had a teacher's role as an informer for the prevention of violent behavior in schools, 78.6% had a teacher's role as a class manager for preventing violent behavior in schools. Based on these data, there is a teacher's role in preventing violent behavior in schools, so the researchers suggest maintaining a good role in providing guidance to students at school

Abstract

Quantum Learning Model in class VIII.C SMP Negeri 1 Jaya, Aceh Jaya Regency in learning science of respiratory system material. This type of research is a classroom action research with a descriptive method that uses two cycles, each cycle consisting of stages including: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were science teachers and students of class VIII.C, SMP Negeri 1 Jaya, Aceh Jaya Regency, Academic Year 2019/2020. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and test sheets. Observation sheets are used to study the activities of teachers and students, while the test sheets are used to determine the learning outcomes of science students. The results showed that student learning outcomes improved where in the first cycle classical students had only reached 70% increase to 90% at the end of the second cycle. This shows that this research was successful because the students' completeness had reached an indicator of success over 85% of students had been thoroughly approved. Using the Quantum Teaching-learning model is able to provide opportunities for students to actively discuss in groups and motivate students in learning, so that student learning achievement increases. From the results of this data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the Quantum Teaching learning model can improve the learning outcomes of science students in class VIII.C of SMP Negeri 1 Jaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of online learning at the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, Malikussaleh University. This type of research is a combination research (mixed methods) qualitative and quantitative. The population of this study were all students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program that follows online learning for the 2020/2021 school year. As for the total number of students in the Pend. Indonesian is 300 people. Because of the large population, in this study a random sample was determined. The results found 130 samples (respondents). The data collection technique of this research was carried out by online survey method using a questionnaire instrument through Google Form. The data analysis technique used is the technique proposed by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that online learning in the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, Malikussaleh University has not been effective. This is indicated by the acquisition of an average value for each indicator, which is <60%. Students prefer face-to-face learning to be carried out immediately after this pandemic ends.

Abstract

Chemistry is one part of the Natural Sciences that explains the process of taking a reaction. In understanding the process of such reactions is needed knowledge of basic science of others such as Science Physics, Biology, and Mathematics. One of the materials taught in Chemistry is the Reduction and Oxidation reaction (redox). To facilitate an understanding of the concept of redox reactions it is advisable to first understand the Basic Mathematics and Physics Sciences, as most of the redox reactions are solved by mathematical concepts and Physics concepts. The calculations that exist in redox reactions are easily solved by the concept of Mathematical Sciences while the completion of the load must be by the Science of Physics. There are three methods or ways to complete the redox reactions, namely the method of capture and release of oxygen, the method of electron change and the method of heating the oxidation number.

Abstract

Research on the Role of Teachers in increasing the character value of discipline and honesty of students in lampeunuerut primary school on 27th, 2017 has been carried out. Formulation of the problem raised in this study The purpose of this study is to know the role of the teacher in improving the character value of discipline and honesty of students at SD Unggul Lampeunerut. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive quantitative research. The results of the study showed that 83% of the teachers did not agree and had an effort to improve the karate discipline and honesty of the students while only 17% agreed to do so. Teacher conclusions have a very large role in the role of teachers in improving the character value of discipline and honesty of students at SD Unggul Lampeunerut

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the transitivity of the short story text in daily Kompas. this study emphasize the usage of the processes, participants, and circumstances types that exists in the clause structure of the short story text. The approachment  used in this research was qualitative approachment through content analysis based on systemic functional linguistic. The data source in this research were the 2013 period of the short story text in daily Kompas and as the data, five short story text  would be analyzed. The result of this research were shown that the short story text in daily Kompas dominated by material processes total 317. Then, participants type of short story text dominated by an actor total 155.  Afterwards, circumstances type, the short story text dominated by location type included places and times total 93. It shown that the short story text in daily Kompas tells about an event within involved an action and used many background, places, and times.
