Abstract

This research was conducted to implement strict and sustainable picket recording for the teachers of the SMP Awal Karya Pembangunan Galang, Deli Serdang Regency. This research is a school action research carried out for two cycles in the teachers of the SMP Awal Karya Pembangunan Galang in the 2018-2019 academic year. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle was conducted in one week. This research was conducted by observing the teacher's attendance at the first hour and the teacher's return at the last hour. The results of this study are: there is an increase in the discipline of the presence of teachers who enter at the first hour according to the schedule, and an increase in the discipline of teachers leaving the class at the last hour also according to the schedule

Abstract

Balancing the mental and individual skills of individuals to learn about everything they want or need to do with their lives is one thing that matters for the real purpose of education. One effort that can be done is to train and develop students' productive thinking habits through an application of formative assessment that can monitor the development of students. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of self-assessment in the form of productive thinking habits of students applied to the subject matter of the colloidal system. The research method using quasi experiment with "Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest-posttest Design" design involves 2 classes that come from class XI IPA 6 as experimental class and XI IPA 11 as control class. The data used is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the application of self-assessment on classroom and laboratory learning for the experimental and control class has shown a good percentage achievement in each indicator habits of mind trained although some indicators need to be improved. For each indicator of productive thinking habits (self regulation, critical thinking and creative thinking) the experimental and control classes experienced better improvement after the application of self-assessment. The result of correlation between self-assessment toward productive thinking habits for experiment class and control class shows that there is significant relation indicated by rhitung> r table that is 0,362> 0,301.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers in compiling teaching materials through In-House training at SMP 1 Lubuk Pakam. The significant of the study: 1) the principal can solve the teachers’ problems in preparing the completeness of the teaching, 2) improving the ability of the teacher in preparing the completeness of teaching, 3) improving the quality of teaching that affects the quality of the school. The study was conducted in School Action Research in 2 cycle. The data was carried out with a descriptive model, as a result of the weaknesses of the actions in each cycle that will be reflected as improvement material in the next cycle. After the action research is carried out, the results are obtained that: 1). The teachers have a high motivation to participate in the In-House Training and have a strong desire to complete the teaching and will use the completeness of the teaching as supporting the learning process; 2) In Cycle I there were 37.97% teachers who successfully completed the preparation of teaching completeness and in Cycle II there were 81.50% teachers who successfully completed the preparation of teaching completeness. So there is an increase in the teachers’ ability to arrange teaching completeness by 43.53%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) To analyze the effectiveness of SFBC group counseling with an exception technique in increasing self control of students who fight in the SMK National Cirebon. (2) To analyze the effectiveness of SFBC group counseling with miracle question techniques in improving self control of students who fight in the SMK National Cirebon. The research method uses true experimental method with pretest-post control group design. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics with the average difference test.The results of the study concluded that (1) There is effectiveness of SFBC group counseling with exception techniques to improve self-control in group A on the results of hypothesis testing with paired sample test analysis, meaning that SFBC group counseling with exception techniques succeeded in increasing self-control in students fighting at the Cirebon National Vocational School. (2) There is effectiveness of SFBC group counseling with miracle question technique on increasing self-control in group B, on the results of hypothesis testing with Wilcoxon test analysis, meaning that SFBC group counseling with miracle question technique has succeeded in increasing self-control in students fighting in SMK National Cirebon

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of PKn through efforts to improve learning by applying SQ3R method in cooperative learning on the subject of Democracy PKn subjects.SQ3R learning method is a learning method that includes the steps survey, question, read, recite, and review that have a purpose for reading activities can be implemented as short as possible and with high absorption.This method is applied in cooperative learning where the method of cooperative learning is a common attitude or behavior in working or helping among others in a regular structure of group cooperation.This research is a class action research conducted in class VIII B SMP Swasta Nurul Huda Al'Aziziyyah.The study was designed in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, execution, observation and reflection.The results showed that by applying SQ3R method in the learning process PKn students learning outcomes have increased in each cycle.This can be seen from the increase of the average value of students from each cycle that is the average value of students in the pre-cycle stage of 53.75 with classical completeness 31.25%. The first cycle of 72.5 with classical completeness of 56.25%; In cycle II the average value increased to 84.37 with 93.75% classical completeness.While the percentage of student learning activities also increased from the initial 48% with enough category in cycle I, increased to 60% with good category in cycle II.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to know and to evaluate the process of Chemistry learning activities in high school. The research conducted on teachers (educators), students at SMA Negeri 1 Lueng Putu by giving questionnaires, observations and interviews. Learning is the most basic activity in the school so that the success or failure of the achievement of educational goals depends on how the learning process. It is expected to be a serious and maximum performance and supported by completing the inadequate infrastructure facilities. Based on the result of the students’ questionnaire, it found that the learning process of Chemistry activity was still not maximal. The population was all the students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Lueng Putu which amounted to 3 classes. The sample used in this study was only 2 classes, where each class consisted of 40 students. Based on the result of questionnaire tabulation, it found that the learning process that was applied by teacher (educator) was 81,16% (good), and how the students’ learning was 66,78% (enough). Based on the results of observations on the schools, it found that the laboratories and libraries are not functioning. The results of interviews on teachers stated the use of less than the maximum media and student learning equipment is less complete. By looking at the learning process in schools, especially Chemistry less than the maximum, so it is needed to be improved to achieve the good results.

Abstract

One of the efforts to increase the professionalism of a teacher and develop his knowledge is through participation in the learning process in teacher working group activities (KKG). Teacher working groups (KKG) are a forum for professional activities for teachers.Based on research at the KKG in MIN 9 Banda Aceh, various problems that arise related to the KKG activities on teacher professionalism at MIN 9 Banda Aceh are focused on the following matters: 1). Lack of reliable human resources from ongoing activities. 2). The low interest of teachers in work programs arranged so that the level of participation is small. 3). The contribution of active KKG members in the activity has not been able to significantly increase teacher professionalism. The formulations of this study are: 1) How to improve teacher professionalism through teacher working group activities in MIN 9 Banda Aceh, 2) How supporting factors and inhibiting factors in efforts to increase teacher professionalism through teacher work group activities at MIN 9 Banda Aceh. This research is the field research. Data collection methods needed by the writer is devided into three types: 1) Documentation Method, 2) Observation Method, 3) Interview Method. The results of the research are divided into several indicators, are: 1) Indicators of pedagogic competence, 2) Indicators of personality competence, 3) Indicators of professional competence, 4) Indicator of social competence.

Abstract

Sejak pandemik covid-19 terjadi di akhir tahun 2019, kasus positif pertama kali di Indonesia teridentifikasi tanggal 2 Maret 2020, sejak itu telah mengubah berbagai kehidupan dan kebijakan yang salah satunya di sektor pendidikan dimana  proses belajar mengajar yang biasanya dilakukan secara tatap muka harus dilakukan melalui pembelajaran jarak jauh dalam jaringan (daring), satu sisi hal ini dianggap banyak manfaat dari sistem ini salah satunya adalah tidak terkendala jarak dan waktu namun disisi lain penerapan sistem tersebut tidak semudah yang dibayangkan karena perlu kesiapan dosen, mahasiswa, maupun fasilitas yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggapan mahasiswa keperawatan pada penerapan pembelajaran daring dengan metode survey terhadap 144 responden. Hasil penelitian didapatkan, tipe media yang digunakan sebanyak 50,7% whatsapp, 49,3% zoom dan 11,8% google classroom. Pemahaman terhadap tipe media pembelajaran sebanyak 73,9% belum tahu dan 26,1% tahu. Perasaan mengikuti perkuliahan daring 56,6% tidak senang, 43,4% senang, pemahaman terhadap materi 37,1% sedikit paham, 31,5% sedang dan 23,8% paham. Kendala yang dihadapi 39,9% jaringan/sinyal, 37,8% kuota internet. Efektifitas 55,6% efektif serta 44,4% tidak efektif. Kesimpulan sistem pembelajaran daring akibat pandemi ini secara keseluruhan sudah dapat diterima oleh civitas akademika keperawatan Universitas Abulyatama.

Abstract

Understanding is the ultimate goal to be achieved from each strategy applied learning in the learning process. However, teachers generally do not know the specific tool that can measure the understanding and misconceptions. Novak refers to the theories Ausubel said that these problems can be solved with a concept map. According to Novak, Concept Map can be applied with the purpose of (1) investigate what is already known by students, (2) learn how to learn, (3) reveal misconceptions, and (4) an evaluation tool. Algebra is one of the materials that are important in mathematics. The mistake in understanding the concept of algebra will impact on the erroneous understanding of other materials, because algebra is one of the foundations of mathematics. Therefore, understanding the concepts and misconceptions that occur in algebra important to know. This study aimed to describe understanding of algebra concepts, find misconceptions as well as evaluating the lecturing process that has been going on mathematics education of Abulyatama University. To achieve these objectives, the researchers used a method-descriptive exploratory study with a qualitative approach. Subjects were pre-service teacher in mathematics education, The Faculty of Education, Abulyatama University. Researchers became the main instrument, while supporting instruments namely; concept mapping assignment sheet (LTPK), the questionnaire, questionnaire responses and the recorder. Data validity checking carried out by the same method on different sources, called triangulation method. Data analysis was performed with the stage offered by Miles and Huberman, namely; (1) data reduction, (2) presentation of data, and (3) conclusion. The results showed that the understanding of algebra concept of pre-service teacher using a concept map on Mathematics Education is at the level of misconceptions portion (MSG). The misconception algebra of pre-service teacher in mathematics education using concept maps happen to identify a secondary idea, in determining the type of map concepts and reasons for selecting it, and in clarifying the relationship with the main idea of secondary ideas. The response of pre-service teacher to the lecture algebra is positive (3.27).

Abstract

The results of observations made on football athletes Block 6 junior U-15, found problems that are first, low ability VO2Max athletes, this is because players often appear to experience fatigue when the game is rolling especially in the second half' Second, not the maximum coaching exercises in accordance with the rules of training that lead to physical coaching. The purpose of the study was to find out the level of VO2Max. The research approach is quantitative approach and descriptive type of research. The total sampling population is a sample of 16 Blok 6 Junior U-15 football athletes in Aceh Singkil District in 2019. Data collection is done by Bleep Test or multy stage running test with a distance of 20 meters gradually back and forth. Data analysis uses average formulas and frequency distributions. The results of the study found that the VO2Max level of SSB Block 6 Junior U-15 football athletes in Aceh Singkil District in 2019 obtained an average Bleep test score of 38.83 in the "medium" category. Of the 16 athletes, 16 athletes did not reach the "Special" category, nor the "Good" category, 10 people (62.50%) category "Medium", 5 people (31.25%) in the category of "Less" and 1 person (6.25%) samples belonging to the category "Very Less". The conclusion of this research is VO2Max level in SSB Block 6 Junior U-15 football athletes in Aceh Singkil District in 2019 in the "medium" category. This indicates that there is still need to be an evaluation after coaching further exercises about VO2Max for SSB Block 6 Junior U-15 football athletes in Aceh Singkil Regency
