Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian sabut kelapa (Cocopeat), dan pupuk kandang terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kampus 1 Torsimarsayang Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Graha Nusantara kota Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non Faktorial dengan 4 (empat) perlakuan dan 6 (enam) ulangan. Perlakuan antara lain : P0 (tanah 5 kg kontrol), P1 (tanah 5 kg + 70 g Cocopeat /pot), P2 (tanah 5 kg + 70 g Cocopeat + 70 g kotoran kambig/pot), P3 (tanah 5 kg + 70 g Cocopeat + 700 g kotoran sapi/pot). Parameter yang diuji yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan produksi perpot. Data yang diperoleh dianalisa secara statistik dengan uji ANOVA (Analysis of Varians) pada α = 5% dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Jarak Nyata Duncan (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan media tanam (Cocopeat) dan berbagai jenis pupuk kandang berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun. Dengan demikian perlakuan media tanam cocopeat dan pupuk kandang memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan cabai rawit. Kata kunci: Cabai rawit, cocopeat, pupuk kandang. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of awarding cocopeat and manure on the growth and production of cayenne pepper plants. The research was carried out at Campus Torsimarsayang, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Graha Nusantara, Padangsidimpuan. This study used a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) method with 4 (four) treatments and 6 (six) replications. The treatments were: P0 (control), P1 (5 kg soil + 70 g Cocopeat/pot), P2 (5 kg soil + 70 g Cocopeat + 70 g goat manure/pot), P3 (5 kg soil + 70 g Cocopeat + 70 g cow manure/pot). Observations included plant height, number of leaves and plant production. The data obtained were analyzed statistically with 5% ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) test and continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the treatment of planting media (Cocopeat) and various types of manure had a significant effect on the growth of plant height and number of leaves. Thus, the treatment of cocopeat growing media and manure gave a significant effect on the growth of cayenne pepper. Keywords : Cayenne pepper, cocopeat, manure.

Abstract

Prospek pengembangan tanaman hias sangat menguntungkan. Salah satu tanaman hias yang mengalami peningkatan permintaan adalah pucuk merah (Syzygium oleana). Pucuk merah memiliki keunikan dengan memiliki 2 warna daun yaitu berwarna merah pada daun muda dan berganti menjadi hijau seiring bertambah waktu. Permasalahan pada budidaya tanaman pucuk merah yaitu penampilan daun kurang baik dikarenakan menurunnya kualitas daun dan daun pucuknya lambat tumbuh karena teknik budidaya yang kurang tepat meliputi pemangkasan dan pemupukan. Pemangkasan pada pucuk merah bertujuan untuk merangsang tunas dan cabang baru. Pemupukan pada tanaman bertujuan untuk memberikan nutrisi, salah satu pupuk yang dibutuhkan yaitu pupuk MgSO4 karena memiliki kandungan unsur hara Mg dan S yang berfungsi merangsang pembentukan senyawa fitokimia yaitu pigmen warna merah atau antosianin. Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh frekuensi pemangkasan dan pupuk MgSO4 dilaksanakan di Lahan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur mulai bulan Maret hingga Juli 2021. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah frekuensi pemangkasan dengan 3 taraf perlakuan, yaitu yaitu, P0 = tanpa pemangkasan, P1 = frekuensi pemangkasan 1 kali, P2 = frekuensi pemangkasan 2 kali. Faktor 2 Dosis Pupuk MgSO4 terdiri dari 5 taraf, M0 = tanpa pemupukan, M1 = dosis pupuk MgSO4 2 gram/tanaman, M2 = dosis pupuk MgSO4 4 gram/tanaman, M3 = dosis pupuk MgSO4 6 gram/tanaman, M4 = dosis pupuk MgSO4 8 gram/tanaman. Parameter pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, diameter batang utama, luas daun, jumlah tunas, jumlah daun warna merah, dan jumlah daun warna hijau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) tidak ada interaksi antara perlakuan frekuensi pemangkasan dan dosis pupuk MgSO4; 2) Perlakuan tanpa pemangkasan memiliki nilai tinggi tanaman tertinggi dan perlakuan pemangkasan 1 kali merupakan perlakuan terbaik pada parameter luas daun; 3) Perlakuan dosis pupuk MgSO4 tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter.

Abstract

The aims of this study were: (i) to determine the response of cocoa seedling growth to cocoa root PGPR; (ii) determine the appropriate PGPR concentration of cocoa roots for the growth of cocoa seedlings. The research was carried out in June – December 2021, located in the Jember State Polytechnic nursery with an altitude of 89 m above sea level. The study used non-factorial RAK, namely: PO = PGPR concentration 0 ml/liter/5 polybags; P1 = PGPR concentration 50 ml/ liter / 5 polybags; P2= PGPR concentration 100 ml / liter / 5 polybags; P3 = PGPR concentration 150 ml / liter / 5 polybags and 6 replications. The results showed: (i) Cocoa seedling growth response by giving PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria) Cocoa Roots had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, wet weight and dry weight of roots, number of roots and root volume; (ii) Provision of optimal PGPR concentration of cocoa roots on root dry weight : 109 ml / l and root wet weight : 99 ml / l.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan areal antara kelapa sawit telah banyak digunakan sebagai lahan untuk budidaya tanaman pertanian. Salah satu tanaman yang dapat ditanam sebagai tanaman sela pada kelapa sawit belum menghasilkan adalah sorgum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh limbah kelapa sawit dan varietas sorgum terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sorgum di lahan belum menghasilkan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada lahan belum menghasilkan (TBM) kelapa sawit berumur 1,4 tahun di Desa Petaling Banjar Kecamatan Mendo Barat Kabupaten Bangka pada bulan Januari – Juni 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 (dua) faktor. Faktor pertama adalah pemanfaatan limbah kelapa sawit yang terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan yaitu P0 : Kontrol, P1 : TKKS dan P2 : Solid. Faktor kedua adalah penggunaan varietas sorgum yang terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan yaitu V1 : Varietas Numbu, V2 : Varietas Super 2 dan V3 : Varietas Biogum 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan limbah kelapa sawit dan varietas sorgum serta interaksinya berpengaruh terhadap bobot benih tanaman dan bobot benih per petak. Penggunaan solid dan varietas super 2 mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil sorgum sebagai tanaman sela kelapa sawit. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sorgum varietas super 2 berpotensi untuk dibudidayakan secara tumpangsari.

Abstract

The effect of the compositionof the growing media and planting position using the method bud chip on early growth of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.)Cenning variety. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction between the composition of the growing media and the correctposition of the buds to early growth of sugarcane. This research was carried out in the Field Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture, Kadiri Islamic University, from April to June 2021. The method used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (RAKF). Results from this research is the composition of the planting medium and the position of planting gives effect on growth on plant height variables at the age of observation 30 and 50 DAT with the highest results in the M2K1 treatment. While in each single treatment composition of planting media and planting position showed the effect significantly on the variables observed number leaves, plant height and stem diameter.

Abstract

Kualitas mutu benih cabai selain dipengaruhi dari kultur teknis pada saat di pertanaman, metode ketika prosesing juga berpengaruh. Metode kering dan basah (direndam) biasa dilakukan untuk prosesing benih cabai. Namun informasi terkait lama perendaman pada prosesing benih cabai masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu dilakukan percobaan untuk mengetahui perlakuan lama perendaman terbaik terhadap perkecambahan benih cabai. Percobaan dilakukan di Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran pada bulan Februari hingga April 2020 menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor (P1 = control, P2 = direndam selama 1 jam, P3 = direndam selama 3 jam, dan P4 = direndam selama 24 jam) diulang tiga kali. Parameter yang diamati antara lain persentase kecambah normal, abnormal, benih segar tidak tumbuh dan benih Mati. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa daya berkecambah perlakuan P2 (91%) nyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan perlakuan P3 (69.33%) dan tidak berbeda nyata dengan P1 (84.33) dan P4 (83.33). P2 merupakan perlakuan terbaik untuk prosesing benih cabai.

Abstract

The sweet corn plant is a commodity crop and belongs to the family of grasses, the genus Zea and the species of Zea Mays Saccharata. Fertilization of sweet corn serves to increase levels of sweetness, production and growth of sweet corn. One of the nutrients needed by plants is organic matter. The function of organic matter is to improve or increase soil fertility so that crop production is increased. One form of organic material used in this study is compost made from the remnants of essential oil refining waste or called cananga flower waste. This study aims to determine the interaction between the concentration of liquid fertilizer TNF (Trace Nutrient Fertilizer) and cananga flower doses on the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt) Talenta varieties. The experiment used a 2 factor randomized block design with 9 levels of treatment and 3 replications. The composition of the treatment is P1 (TNF liquid fertilizer 5 ml / l), P2 (TNF liquid fertilizer 10 ml / l), P3 (TNF liquid fertilizer 15ml / l) while the second factor is L1 (5 tonnes / ha cannary waste flower) , L2 (Canaan flower waste 10 tons / ha) L3 (Cananga flower waste 15 tons / ha). The use of TNF liquid fertilizer, cananga flower waste or a combination of both produces high growth. The combination of both can increase vegetative and generative growth of sweet corn plants. The combination of the treatment of the two factors occurs in the interaction variables observed height, stem diameter and sweetness level. There was a real effect of single factor P (TNF liquid fertilizer) on plant height variable, variable weight of cob with cob and variable weight of cob without cob. Of the two factors obtained the best results with a combination of P3L3 treatment

Abstract

Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) is a vegetable crop that is an alternative source of income for farmers. Fertilization efficiency with the addition of humic acid can reduce the use of anorganic fertilizers. Organic matter from humic acid can improve physical, chemical, biological properties and improve soil fertility status which can absorb and provide nutrients for plants. The humic layer NPK will be slow release, nutrients are released according to plant needs. The study aimed to determine the dose of humic layered slow release NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of tomato plants was carried out in Klagen Gambiran Village, Maospati District, Magetan Regency from February to May 2020. The materials used were servo f1 varieties, NPK fertilizer (16:16:16) and NPK slow release humic layer. The study was arranged using a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 6 levels of treatment, 4 replications, namely: dose P0 = 300 kg/ha without humic (control), P1 = 100 kg/ha, P2 = 150 kg/ha, P3 = 200 kg/ha, P4 = 250kg/ha, and P5 = 300 kg/ha. The results showed that the application of slow release humic layer NPK fertilizer of 300 kg/ha (P5) had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of fruit per plant per harvest, total fruit number of plants, fruit weight per plant per harvest and total fruit weight plant.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This experiment was conducted to determine the effect of mimba (Azadirachta indica) leaf extract as an alternative natural insecticide to S. litura in terms of the median lethal concentration (LC50). The research method used was a completely randomized design (CRD), with three replications, each replication was treated by adding 4 doses of mimba (Azadirachta indica) leaf extract (5%, 10%, 20% and 40% ppm). Data were collected at 24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 144, and 168 hours. Data analysis used probit analysis with SPSS 23, 95% confidence level. The results obtained from the study were that to kill S. litura larvae within 24 hours required a concentration of 91.670% neem leaf extract, while the lowest concentration required to kill S. litura was 3.425% within 168 hours.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is that farmers are expected to get information about soil insects and understand the system of using refugia as a supporter for the development of agricultural commodities for the realization of a sustainable agricultural system based on ecosystem sustainability. The research was carried out from December 2021 to March 2022, which took place in Plaosan Village, Wates District, Kediri Regency. The method used was a factorial randomized block design. The first factor is the difference in corn varieties (J) consisting of three levels, Pertiwi-3, Bisi-18 and Bisi-228. The second factor is the difference in refugia plants (R) consisting of four levels, namely Control, Kenikir, Paper and Marigold. Observations found 26 families consisting of 8 orders. For diversity, evenness and species richness, moderate values ​​were obtained. The results of variance showed that there was no interaction between different varieties with different refugia plant treatments on the number of leaves of corn plants at all ages of observation, but in single factor treatment, differences in varieties showed an effect on the number of leaves of plants at all ages of corn plants. The combination of treatment between varieties and refugia obtained the highest value at an average weight of 376.13 grams of cob, at a weight value of 1000 seeds the highest value was obtained with an average of 306.92 grams and the combination of varieties and refugia treatments obtained the highest potential yield of corn with a value of 11,033. ,33 tons/ha.
