The results show that in the village Singapadu Kaler there are three potentials that can be developed into tourism products, namely; 1). natural resources in the form of: river, rice field, and cliff, 2) human resources, 3) cultural resources such as: Kahyanagan Tiga temple, Dang Kahyangan temple, and sacred cultural products. Tourism superstructure that already exist in the form of: business accommodation, restaurant, ATV car business, horse riding business, rubber boat business, swing, and agro business. Regarding the existing tourism infrastructure such as: general infrastructure and basic infrastructure is sufficient. The management model applied is still very partial that has not involved all the existing stakeholders, especially the management of communal tourism products. Regarding the development of tourism villages, tourism village management is closely related to the products produced or offered, and depends on the number of functions in the organization concerned. For this reason, in the management of tourist villages in Singapadu Kaler village holistically, it is necessary to take the following steps: to organize the organizational structure effectively, to put the right people in the management organizational structure that is fairly taken from each hamlet, and to make policies, rules, and schedule of activities based on agreement from all stakeholders involved in the management of Singapadu Kaler tourism village. To achieve sustainable tourism development needs to involve all stakeholders with complemented policies and rules. If necessary engage academics in assistance to design a model of holistic village tourism management

Abstract

It is a well established fact that India has been the center of famous thinkers and philosophers right from the ancient time as a result of its various philosophical traditions. These branches of thought are deeply embedded in the Indian culture and are commonly categorized as the six orthodox and the three heterodox systems of Indian philosophy. The concept of epistemology has been the topic of heavy discussion as scholars in the past have agreed or strongly disagreed on their formulations of the different schemes of metaphysics. For Indian philosophers knowledge is a means to reach at ultimate truth through speculation and experience. In this paper I am going to present the Jayanta’s refuration to Buddhist concept of pramāṇa.

Abstract

Songs are increasingly used by teachers to teach English because students can learn many things from songs, such as vocabulary items and figurative language. However, sometimes the use of songs in the classroom only covers the surface of the discussion. Students need to be able to understand songs deeper by learning the figurative language. It is not easy to understand figurative language because people can interpret the meaning of it freely based on the context. Learning figurative language becomes important because it is found to give four beneficial aspects to students. Therefore, this study analyzed figurative language used in three songs in “Student’s Book 2 for Senior High School Students Grade XI”, which can be used by students to learn about songs deeper by understanding figurative language easily. This qualitative study can also be a consideration for the teachers and those who design the learning materials to include figurative language in the song’s part in the textbook.
