Abstract

The background of this research is the discovery of six adult mental retardation class VII student who had difficulty in grinding cassava cracker-making processes opaque, it is Because The classroom teacher can not Convey the subject matter appropriate for the needs of children and the teacher only The demonstration uses the method to provide eye learning skills, thus making the children Often Become forget or less understand what the teacher explained. In other conditions in the milling process sweet child has difficulty pushing tool grinder, mill thickness child has not reached 0.5 mm. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability to grind cassava through the application type STAD cooperative approach when teaching children skills for mental retardation was a class VII. This pebelitian type is action research class (classroom action research) that takes the form of collaboration. These actions were taken to six children, mental retardation was a class VII in SLB YAPEM Tarusan. The results Showed for the first cycle of six sessions held in the learning process that starts from introducing the tools, setting tools, grinding cassava and assessment of the work of children. Based on the average value obtained by the students at the end of the first cycle can be seen that the W after the given action I got 50%, the S gets a value of 50%, T gets the value of 40%, a gain value of 40%, R gets the value of 50%, and Kalsogot50%. The results of the second cycle Showed an increasing ability of the child. Where W after being given a second act gets a score of 70%, the S gets the value of 80%, T gets the value of 60%, a gain value of 60%, the R gets a score of 70%, and K got 60%. From the results presentation and analysis of the data it can be concluded that the use of type STAD cooperative approach to improve the ability to grind cassava crackers opaque making skills for mental retardation children were class VII. Thus suggested to the schools, teachers, and Researchers can use the following for a cooperative approach to improve learning skills for children tunagrahita being.

Abstract

This article  is backgrounded over instant drinks consumption (pop ice) discovery and dearth of making smoothies ability by deaf students of 11th grade,  SLB N 1 Padang. This research has a purpose to prove that demonstration method is an effective way to increase smoothies-making skills for deaf students.  This research uses experimental method in One Group Pretest-Posttest Design of Quasy Experiment style.  This research is started by doing pretest, then using demonstration method treatment, and ended by doing posttest. Their result of doing pretest and posttest activity is compared and processed by using Mann Whitney's formula test.  The result shows that their ability in making smoothies is around 48% at pretest, while on posttest attains 74%. Then the data is scientifically processed by using Mann Whitney's formula and obtained; U-hit is three and U-tab is two with five samples at 95 significant degrees and alfa is 0.05. Thus, hypotheses can be accepted because U-hit is bigger than U-tab and it's proven that demonstration method is an effective way to increase smoothies-making skills for deaf students. There is a suggestion for the school that if they are willing to use demonstration method to increase smoothies-making skills for deaf students.

Abstract

latar belakang penelitian ini adalah Bina Diri anak tunagrahita sedang yaitu memasang pembalut wanita di SLB Bina Bangsa. Simulasi artinya berpura-pura atau berbuat seakan-akan nyata.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan efektifitas metode simulasi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan memasang pembalut wanita bagi anak tunagrahita sedang.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Single Subject Research dengan desain A-B.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode simulasi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bina diri anak tunagrahita sedang SLB Bina Bangsa Padang.

Abstract

This research aim to to: proving technique efectivity baste comisole improve ability of eye movements coordination and hand embisil of child class D1/C1 in SLB YAPPAT Lubuk Sikaping Pasaman. This research use approach of Single Subject Reaserch (SSR) with A-B desain. Its Subject Research is embisil of child X. The goals size measure of him that is how many hole which can be basted by child from 15 provided hole during 10 minute. Data the obtained to be to be processed in grafict. Result of research indicate that eye movements coordination and hand mount after given technique baste clothes. This proven at phase of baseline (A) ability of eye movements coordination and child hand in basting only four hole which can be sewed during 10 minute. After given by intervention (B) technique baste clothes, eye movements coordination and hand mount namely child have finished 15 hole in 10 minute. Thereby can be concluded that technique baste clothes can improve eye movements coordination and hand embisil of child class D.1/C1 SLB YAPPAT Lubuk Sikaping. Thereby suggested to researcher and teacher hereinafter so that using technique baste other to train eye movements coordination and hand embisil of child.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that the researchers found in the field, which is a fifth grade child mild mental retardation who have problems in identifying Flat figure (circle, triangle, rectangle and square). From the results of the assessment, children experiencing barriers when grouping, sort flat wake of the largest to the smallest, to distinguish and name the flat wake. Therefore, researchers are working to help to improve the ability to recognize a flat wake, through the medium of the flannel board.The research is a Single Subject Research to design AB. Data analysis techniques using visual analysis graphs. Subject of research is mild mental retardation child class V. Measurement variables using percentages.Observations were carried out as many as 16 times observation, namely six times on the condition (A), and ten times on the condition (B). In the conditions of (A) the data obtained is 18%, 18%, 18%, 18%, 18%, 18%. Based on these data the child can be said to have engaged in identifying flat wake, either classify, sort, differentiate, identify and name the flat wake. While in the intervention condition (B) data were obtained (22.7%) (36.3%) (54.5%) (63.6%) (70.5%), (81.9 %), (91.9%) (95.4%) (95.4%) (95.4%). Thus, the ability of children to recognize waking up flat using a flannel board media showed an increase. Based on these results it can be concluded that the media flannel board can improve the ability to know the flat wake, for mild mental retardation children in class V SLB Karya Padang. The author hopes that teachers and schools can consider the use of media in learning to know flannel board flat wake, especially for mild mental retardation children. Keywords: Build Flat, Media Flannel Boards, Mild Mental Retardation

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research background by the problems that researchers find in SLB mutiara Lubuk Alung Budi, a child's mild mental retardation in SLB class III semester who have problems in identifying the form numbers, it is first seen when researchers looked at the implementation of the ongoing learning of mathematics in the classroom III in SLB Pearl Budi Lubuk Alung, after apparently observed the child had difficulty in identifying the form numbers so when asked to show and write the child has difficulty. Under these conditions, the study aims to prove the effectiveness of the use of Digital Media Puzzle figure to improve the rate of child recognize shapes mild mental retardation SLB class III in mutiara Budi Lubuk Alung.This research Single Subject Research approach, the ABA design and data analysis techniques using visual analysis chart. Subjects were mild mental retardation children class III, where the child was told to show, and write the number corresponding shape, dictated many numbers are ten-digit numbers from 1 to 10 per meeting. Measurement of variables by using a percentage figure how many pieces can be known children according to their shape. The results of this study indicate that the Digital Media Puzzle Figures effective in improving the ability to know the form of the numbers in the teaching of mathematics to children third grade mild mental retardation SLB mutiara Budi Lubuk Alung. Observations made with the first three sessions, the session before being given intervention baseline (A1) conducted five times observation, the percentage of the ability to know the form number on this condition lies in the range of 5%, and 10%. Second, the intervention sessions (B) using the Digital Media Puzzle Figures observation carried seven times, ability to recognize shapes percentage points in this condition lies in the range of 30%, 30%, 40%, 60%, and 90%. Third session baseline (A2) is done five times of observation, the results obtained in the child's ability to recognize the form of increased numbers that lie in the range of 90% to 100%. Based on these results it can be concluded Puzzle Numbers Digital media is effective in improving the ability to know the form of mild mental retardation points for third grade children SLB mutiara Budi Alung depths. Suggested the teachers should be able to use the Digital Media Puzzle Figures in identifying the form numbers on the child's mild mental retardation. Abstract

penelitian ini membahas tentang peningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung soal cerita pada anak diskalkulia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek guru kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan pendekatan realistic mathematics education meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung soal cerita pada anak diskalkulia. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari empat pertemuan yang terdiri dari empat tahapan proses yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes perbuatan yang dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran dengan realistic mathematics education terkait materi operasi hitung soal cerita menjadi meningkat.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The background of this research background by the apparent problems in the field, namely children Autism X class III in SLB sparkle Tarusan who have difficulty in reading comprehension simple sentence. This is evident from the beginning of the child's ability to undertake operations on a number of children have difficulty given problem. This study aims to improve the ability of autistic children to read a simple sentence comprehension through Flip Chart. Flip Chart is sheets of paper to resemble an album or calendar measuring 50 x 75 cm, or smaller size 21 x 28 cm, as Flipbook are arranged in the order that was tied at the top. The research methodology researchers use a single subject research design research using AB. That design study comparing the ability to understand the content of reading simple sentences in children with autism X between the baseline condition and the condition of intervention. The data analysis technique used is based on the observation data in the form of Visual Analysis of Graphs. he results of the study are analyzed include the number of observations in the baseline condition and meeting six times as much as eight times the intervention condition. The results of this study are shown in the analysis of data in the conditions and analysis of data between the conditions that indicate a change in the ability to read a simple sentence comprehension in children X towards a better. Analysis of data between the condition that the number of variables that change 1, change direction and effect positive trend (+), changes in the stability of the variable to variable, baseline conditions (A) 33%, 26%, 26%, 33%, 33%, 33% , conducted 6 (six) times pertmuan, intervention condition (B) 40%, 46%, 60%, 73%, 80%, 86%, 86%, 86%, made eight (8) meetings and the percentage of overlap 0%. From the results of the analysis of data obtained it can be concluded that the hypothesis (Ha) who submitted acceptable. That his sense that the media Flip chart can be used to improve the ability to read a simple sentence comprehension For Autistic child class III. Suggested for class teachers or subject teachers Indonesian to use Flip Chart for Autism in teaching children to read a simple sentence comprehension.   Kata Kunci: Membaca Pemahamam, Autis, Media Flip Chart
