Abstract

This study aims to find out the impact of the use of digital comic learning media on the development of expressive language of children at Wihdatul Ummah Makassar. The research approach used is a quantitative approach to the type of pre-experimental research. The population in this study is 5-6 years old children at Wihdatul Ummah Makassar TKIT as 52 children. The technique used in the sampling here is Systematic Sampling, a sample in this study consisting of 15 children. Data collection techniques in research are interviews, observations and documentation/archive reports. Verification of validity of findings in research is descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric statistical analyses. The analysis of data obtained from the pre-test results received an average score of 9.47, whereas from the posttest results a mean score of 17, this suggests that there is a significant change in the development of the expressive language of the child before and after the given digital comic learning media. Based on the Wilcoxom Sign Rank Test obtained Asymp Sig. (2- tailed) 0.001 < 0.05 then it can be concluded there is an influence of the use of digital comic learning media on the development of expressive language of children in Wihdatul Ummah Makassar.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research, the subject of this research is 20 Group B children. The object of this research is fine motor skills using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and documentation. The tool is an observation instrument sheet. Data analysis techniques are quantitatively descriptive. The expected success indicator is 95% of 20 children have fine motor skills. This research was conducted in two cycles. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that through this activity one can improve fine motor skills in Group B at Al Azzam Islamic Kindergarten.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the storytelling method using picture books in improving the language skills of children aged 5-6 years. The research method used was a pseudo-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of 30 children who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group was given an intervention in the form of a storytelling method with picture books for 8 weeks, while the control group did not get in-tervention. The results showed that there was a significant increase in children's language skills in the experimental group compared to the control group. This improvement was measured through language proficiency test instruments covering aspects of vocabulary, comprehension, and language expression. Statistical analysis showed a p value <0.05, indicating that the storytelling method with picture books is effective in improving the language skills of children aged 5-6 years. This study implies that the picture book storytelling method can be used as an alternative in the language learning process in early childhood. In addition, this study also suggests that educators and parents should be more active in using picture books as a medium to develop children's language skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to describe and determine the moral values in the film "Finding Nemo", (2) to explain the relevance of the moral values contained in the film "Finding Nemo" to character education for elementary level students. in the film "Finding Nemo". And also, its relevance to character education. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses content analysis. Based on data analysis, it was found that (1). The moral values contained in the film "Finding Nemo" include: a) parents' love for their children, b) obedience to parents, c) trying hard, d) parents must give freedom to their children, e) help between each other, f) trust each other between friends and family, g) never be embarrassed to apologize, h) be ready to let your child go on an adventure, i) learn to work together. (2). The relevance of the moral values contained in the film "Finding Nemo" to character education for elementary level students is found in the character values of hard work, creativity, independence, curiosity, friendship/communicativeness, love of peace, social care and responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Indonesian Language Teaching Module by identifying the needs for developing an integrated teaching module that incorporates the values of P5-PPRA in the Indonesian language for fourth-grade students at MI Dato Pattimang. This research is a type of developmental research, commonly referred to as Research and Development (R&D). Research and Development is a research method used to develop and test products that will later be implemented in the educational field. There are various research models that can be used as references in this Research and Development study. The development model used in this research is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This study is a type of research that can be used to develop learning products. Therefore, the research to be conducted uses a development approach to produce products that directly address problems found in the field while also improving the quality of education. The results of the study indicate that the feasibility of this teaching module, focusing on the Indonesian language, is assessed by design experts, material experts, and language experts. The evaluations from each validator state that this teaching module is very suitable for use by users, with improvements according to the experts' suggestions.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the difficulties encountered by teachers in implementing mathematical learning in the 4th grade of Phatna Witya Yala School Thailand. Research using qualitative methods with a type of qualitatively descriptive research, the subject on this research is a 4th grade mathematics teacher. Data is collected through in-depth interviews, collection of research documentation and learning observations which are then analyzed descriptively. The results of this study showed that 4th grade mathematics teachers experienced some difficulties such as conditioning non-conducive classes, determining learning methods that match the characteristics and needs of students, as well as accommodating differences in student abilities. Teachers were able to overcome a variety of such problems, including applying a reward point system, observing student characteristics before determining methods of learning, and providing individual support to students who lag behind. The research concludes the need for improved teacher competence and school support to optimize mathematics learning in the 4th grade at Phatna Witya Yala School Thailand.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the role of the Principal in Improving the Quality of Education at SDN 02 Talago Sariak. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This is because the researcher will present an overview of the role of the school principal using data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the role of the school principal, which includes educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and motivator, has been carried out very well. With a good character, firm but motherly, disciplined and open in financial matters, always discussing when there is a problem or something that needs to be decided. Even though in terms of infrastructure it is still not stable, during the principal's leadership this school has experienced many improvements compared to the previous one.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low student learning outcomes in Civics subjects. The objectives of this research are: 1) To determine the process of implementing the SAVI learning model in class III PPKn learning at UPTD SD Negeri 43 Parepare. 2) To determine the improvement in PPKn learning outcomes through the SAVI learning model for class III UPTD students at SD Negeri 43 Parepare. This research approach is a qualitative approach with the type of research being classroom action research. Data collection techniques and procedures are observation, documentation tests and reflection sheets. Next, the data is analyzed and processed descriptively qualitatively. The indicator of the success of this research is if the SAVI implementation process and student learning outcomes are in good qualifications. The results of research in cycle 1 were in sufficient qualifications (C), while the results of research in cycle II were in good qualifications (B). Conclusion: The application of the SAVI learning model can improve learning outcomes in PPKn subjects for class III UPTD students at SD Negeri 43 Parepare.

Abstract

Learning difficulty is a condition experienced by students in learning which is characterized by certain obstacles to achieving the expected learning outcomes. In the learning process, both teachers and students certainly expect to achieve maximum learning goals and learning outcomes. In reality, these expectations are not always realized, there are still many students who do not achieve the expected learning outcomes. The causes of learning difficulties experienced by students can come from internal factors and external factors. This is a challenge that is always faced by teachers. Teachers play a role in helping to solve the problem of learning difficulties faced by students. One of the learning difficulties that students often experience is learning to write (dysgraphia). This literature review aims to help teachers understand and help students who have difficulty learning to write (dysgraphia). The method used is a literature study by reviewing relevant articles from 2019-2024. To handle learning difficulties in writing (dysgraphia) teachers can use word cards or picture spelling cards. In using word card learning media or picture spelling cards, teachers should always provide motivation, enthusiasm, and special attention to students who have difficulty learning to write.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Uno Stacko Mathematic (USMAT) learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of class III students at UPT SD Negeri 3 Macorawalie, Sidrap Regency. The approach used is a quantitative approach with experimental research type and Pre Experimental design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The type of sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the student's initial test score (pretest) was 47.14 and increased after being given treatment (posttest) to 82.38. The results of inferential statistical analysis by testing the hypothesis using the paired sample T-test show a significance of 0.001<0.05, this shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Uno Stacko Mathematic (USMAT) learning media influences the mathematics learning outcomes of class III students at UPT SD Negeri 3 Macorawalie, Sidrap Regency.
