Abstract

Cancel culture is a culture that is carried out by the community in the form of canceling or retaking its support for an object of publik   consumption or influencer after it is deemed to have violated the norms applicable in society. This study comparing comprehensively the cancel culture in Indonesia and South Korea. The research was carried out using the literature study method by exploring theoretical references that were relevant to the research subject or problems that would be discussed further. The result of this study reveals that the intensity and the implementation of cancel culture has a significant impact to the effectiveness of social control. ‘cancel culture’ is often used as an excuse to reject other people's opinions that are different from the opinions of the netizen. Therefore, further research is needed on the implementation of cancel culture in Indonesia, accompanied by good quality digital literation competencies, so that cancel culture is not only used as an excuse to convey hate comments but also provides a deterrent impact and social sanctions for public figures who are being ‘cancelled’ by the community.

Abstract

Pancasila is often seen as an ideology that deals with global ideologies, such as capitalism and liberalism. The Pancasila that was built was for the common welfare and social justice for all Indonesian people. On the other hand, we live in a globalization that is full of laws and rules of capitalism, free and open markets. We must remain firm and strong in our stance, that we will continue to dedicate all of these things to the common good, to social justice. An intelligent nation in the era of globalization, is not a nation that continues to complain, give up, and get angry, but a nation that is able to drain the sources of prosperity available in the global arena. We all use technology, capital or information properly to improve our welfare and interests. Don't want to be the loser. Let's be winners in this globalization. Globalization is an era of rapid changes that contain positive things, but also brings negative aspects for the Indonesian people. The Indonesian people must be good at seizing and taking advantage of opportunities from the positive aspects and still standing on the values that have been pledged, defended, and upheld. Facing globalization, the Indonesian nation must be able to stand up by having sovereignty in the political field, independence in the economy, personality in culture, and having strong resilience in national security. More than that, we must continue to strengthen our identity as Pancasilaists who uphold the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and strengthen the establishment of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Every citizen is obliged to defend his country so that the survival of his nation is maintained. To defend the country is largely determined by the attitudes and behavior of every citizen. If citizens are active and care about the progress of their nation, the survival of the nation will be maintained. It is better if citizens do not care about the problems facing their nation, the survival of the nation will be threatened and sooner or later the state will dissolve.

Abstract

This case discusses about in narcotic narcotics version of child (case study in district of execution of diversion against child of perpetrator of narcotics crime pursuant to law no 11 year 2012 about juvenile criminal justice system from position of law of diversion to child abuse of narcotics in developmental perspective criminal law is a non-panel policy measure for handling child perpetrators of child criminal acts as their handling is transferred to the juvenile justice system. Related to the handling of children of narcotics abuse, the main problem that arises from the criminal justice process of a child or criminal decision is the stigma attached to the convict of narcotics abuse after the completion of the criminal justice process tends to increase the abuse of narcotics conducted by the child. the diversi- fication concept set forth in the Indonesian justice system is putting the obligation to divert in any judicial proceedings (investigation, prosecution, trial) of the diversion settings against the perpetrators, the future narcotics crime concept of implementation is only a component and improved the structure of the Juvenile justice system as an alternative to formal criminal justice by placing diversionary efforts in every stage of the judicial process (investigation, prosecution and civil law). future divergence concepts not only as an alternative to the just legal system but the diversion that really excludes the process.

Abstract

Corruption is one of the problems that is very difficult to overcome in Indonesia. Since the reign of President Sukarno, who was the first president of Indonesia, corruption has been happening so much that corruption in Indonesia is no longer a secret. When there is someone who is found to do corruption, many television stations and news preach everything about corruption that is happening. Because corruption in Indonesia is very common, this results in most people assuming that corruption is no longer a violation of the law, but as a habit. In addition, it also causes the corruptors, or someone who commits corruption, is not ashamed to commit a corruption act. In fact, they know that corruption is a criminal offence that violates the law and has the values of Pancasila. Because the law has not been able to prevent the corruptors not to commit acts of corruption, the enforcement of the values of Pancasila that has been ruled out needs to be reestablished, because besides being the basis of the country, Pancasila is also a state of ideology that has a source of anti-corruption values that will make people shy to commit corruption.

Human rights are rights that humans have solely because they are human. After the leadership of the Taliban in Afghanistan, the world community is worried about the protection of human rights for the female population in Afghanistan. The reason is that many human rights violations were committed against the female population in Afghanistan that were carried out during the current leadership of the Taliban, such as restrictions on access to education and prohibitions from working. Of course, this problem is enough to get the world's attention because it is considered to violate international human rights principles, which include the principle of equality, the principle of non-discrimination, and the principle of state obligations. Based on this, there is a sense of concern from countries in the world to voice this conflict in various world forums and organizations, one example is The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women for gender equality or commonly known as UN Women, namely the United Nations agency defending gender equality and empowering women in the world.
