Abstract

Information systems are created in stores so that they can easily make data processing well, and can make predictions or forecasts about stocks that will be prepared in future periods. The purpose of this study is to create and produce a stock forecasting system for laundry materials by applying the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) method. This research is a type of development using a waterfall model by conducting stages of needs analysis, design, implementation and testing. The Analysis phase is carried out to identify the needs used to be applied to this forecasting system. The design stages consist of interface design, flowcharts, use cases and entity relationship diagrams. Implementation and testing are carried out directly using black box testing to see the extent of the functionality of the system that has been created. Our findings show that the system we developed is in the form of a web-based laundry material stock forecasting system. This system is also successful in testing using black box testing, all system components are functioning properly. This system is also calculated accordingly, where the results of the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) in detergent stocks get a percentage of 10%, or an accuracy rate of 90%. Meanwhile, the fragrance stock obtained a MAPE yield of 7%, with an accuracy rate of 93%.

Abstract

In the era information technology advancement, adaptation and integration of technology have become essential needs for organizations across various sectors. This research endeavors to design and implement an efficient and modern web-based library system to the specific needs of the Jember Regency Prosecutor's Office. This study employs structured analysis to comprehensively understand existing library management processes, and it adopts the waterfall model for system development. This model entails sequential stages, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing using black box method, ensuring a systematic approach to system development. Data collection techniques involve interviews with key stakeholders and examination of existing systems and processes. Data analysis encompasses identifying challenges and requirements, which inform system design and development. The findings indicate that the newly developed web-based library system effectively addresses identified challenges, streamlining administrative processes and enhancing user experience. Its successful implementation is expected to significantly improve operational efficiency and resource accessibility at the Jember Regency Prosecutor's Office library, contributing to the modernization of library services in Indonesia and paving the way for future advancements in library technology development.

Abstract

Presence is a one of main thing for a State Civil Apparatus (ASN). However, in its implementation, the ASN attendance process currently still uses conventional methods and finger machines, which causes several problems, such as ineffectiveness, inefficiency, and vulnerability to fraud. This research is aimed to develop a presence application using Android-based face recognition and location-based service methods. This study type is research and development use the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Spiral that focuses on paying attention to project risks. The liason or data collection stage used is a literature study by looking for relevant study, then direct observation in the field interviews with BKPSDM Bondowoso regarding presence issues, and a questionnaire to collect feedback from respondents as material for further application development, then the data collection results will be used to analyze needs, features and application specifications. The risk analysis stage aims to identify risks that may occur. The engineering stage of the application was built using the Flutter framework and RestfulAPI. The results of application testing state that the application can perform according to its functionality and needs. The study results is an Android application that aims to assist ASN in facilitating attendance via smartphones. According to a survey of 500 people, the application was positively received by Bondowoso County Government.

Abstract

The Government's policy of moving the Indonesian capital city (IKN) is considered controversial, sparking various responses from the public, especially on the social media platform X. This research aims to analyze tweet sentiment related to IKN and compare two algorithms. In this experiment, we collected 5,128 tweets regarding IKN from the X application. The dataset was classified into 2,598 positive sentiments and 1,659 negative sentiments. To analyze these sentiments, we used Text Mining techniques, comparing the Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naive Bayes algorithms. To improve the performance of these algorithms in analyzing the data, SMOTE optimization was employed to address data imbalance. Our findings show that the SVM algorithm achieves an accuracy of 84%, while the Naive Bayes algorithm achieves an accuracy of 77%. Thus, it can be concluded that the SVM algorithm is superior to the Naive Bayes algorithm. Furthermore, the use of SMOTE optimization proved to enhance the ability of both algorithms to identify positive sentiment, as evidenced by the precision, recall, and F1-Score values. The SVM algorithm achieved a precision of 82%, recall of 86%, and F1-Score of 84%, while the Naive Bayes algorithm achieved a precision of 71%, recall of 92%, and F1-Score of 80%.

Abstract

The Regional Leadership Council of the Grinding Party experienced difficulties during the general election in 2019 where legislative candidates could not meet the party's target of 2 seats. So that in 2024 before the general election a decision support system-based legislative candidate selection system was created so that for future plans the party will use this system so it is necessary to start building the system. The purpose of this research is to be able to determine prospective candidates to become legislative candidates. This type of research is quantitative in criteria data collection techniques can also be through observation, interviews and literature studies, with an application development model using a prototype model. The prototype model with the stages of collecting data and case examples, designing prototypes, building prototypes, testing programmes, implementing and maintaining programmes. The research subject is legislative candidates and the object is the Gerinda party which conducts the selection of legislative candidates. Application design assisted by Unified Modelling Language (UML) modelling techniques can provide the best system design, then the calculation results will be ranked to get the optimal alternative. Then the data analysis technique uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This research produces the name of the candidate who will be elected by building a system with the application of the SAW method. Of the 9 people who registered as prospective candidates.

Abstract

Increasing consumer demand for car loans requires finance companies to make quick and accurate decisions, so there are obstacles such as sufficient time in deciding whether to accept or reject loan applications by consumers. The purpose of this study is to create a decision support system using the simple multi-attribute rating technique (SMART) to assist in determining the feasibility of car loans. This study used a quantitative approach. The system built applies a waterfall model with stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The analysis is carried out to find the needs of the system created, with design using UML, including class diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and interface design. The implementation phase was carried out at Indomobil Finance Kisaran using consumer sample data from observations and interviews. System testing uses black box testing to see the performance of the system created. Our findings are that there need to be improvements to the data processing process and the duration of time for making decisions on accepting or rejecting car loans submitted by consumers. From the results of black box testing, no system failure was found, so the system is designed to run well and by expectations is to help the company determine the feasibility of car loans submitted by consumers with fast and accurate results.

Abstract

In the voting process in general elections, committee errors often occur in carrying it out. So the results of the number of votes took a long time to obtain due to the dynamics that existed during the process and the occurrence of counting errors. The purpose of this research is to build a system by applying the SAW method in determining the voting committee selection committee.  The type of research used is Research and Development with the system development model using a prototype model with the stages of requirements gathering and analysis, quick design, building prototypes, user evaluation, implementing products and maintaining them, and requirements gathering and analysis. Then the data is analyzed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method by providing certain types of criteria that have weights so that the final value obtained through ranking becomes the final decision. The application was built using the PHP language and a MySQL database. The results of members who pass are then reported to the sub-district voting committee as a research object. The data was calculated from 10 people from each electoral district where they served. So from those 10 people, 7 people will be selected.

Abstract

The introduction of technology in the field of Education, especially in learner emotion detection plays an important role in the modern educational context. This research introduces the application of the YOLOV5 algorithm to detect learner emotions in real time during the classroom learning process. This research aims to see the performance of YOLOv5 in detecting student emotions by comparing YOLOv5 variants, namely YOLOv5m, YOLOv5n, YOLOv5l, YOLov5s, and YOLOv5x. The dataset used is a video recording of the learning process taken in classroom A3-02 in Building A, Informatics Engineering Study Program, Faculty, Engineering, University of Mataram, which is grouped into 3 classes, namely (Bored, Happy, and Neutral) with a total dataset of 451 images with dataset distribution divided into 87% training data, 8% validation data, and 4% testing data. Based on the tests conducted, YOLOv5m showed the best results with the highest accuracy reaching 89.60% on Mean Average Precision, with batch settings of 14 and epochs of 150. These results indicate that the YOLOv5 algorithm is effective in detecting learner emotions with a satisfactory level of performance and makes a significant contribution to learner emotion detection, underscoring the potential of this technology in enhancing interaction and learning in educational environments.

Abstract

The process of selecting the best teachers is an important aspect of ensuring optimal quality of education in a school. However, the selection process for the best teachers at SMPN 5 Kisaran often faces obstacles such as subjectivity, lack of efficiency, and lack of transparency. This research aims to produce a decision support system using the TOPSIS method to increase objectivity and effectiveness in the teacher selection process, as well as contribute to improving the quality of education. This research is a development type using waterfall, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation stages. The analysis stage is to identify system requirements, the design stage is to determine the system interface, the coding stage is to build the system, and the testing stage is to validate its functionality using a black box. Teacher performance data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Teacher performance data will be analyzed using the TOPSIS method, which involves stages of weighting criteria, calculating relative scores, and ranking teachers based on the highest scores. The results of our findings are in the form of a decision support system application for selecting the best teachers. The test results show that this system is running well and by the design and model that has been planned. With this system, it can help SMPN 5 Kisaran in selecting the best teachers.

Abstract

The low numeracy literacy among students is primarily due to two factors: a lack of interest in numeracy learning and limited learning resources. The Ministry of Education and Culture's National Assessment Programme in 2022 revealed that numeracy skills in Indonesia remain low, with only about 40,63% of students demonstrating numeracy competence. Improvement is necessary to achieve better results. The aim of this research is to develop an interactive numeracy application for student learning and assess its suitability. Development utilised Rapid Application Development (RAD) with three main phases: requirement planning, design, and implementation. Data collection involved surveys and quantitative descriptive analysis. In the final development phase, the application underwent testing to ensure functionality and effectiveness. Functional testing using black box methods showed all features performed as expected. Additionally, a System Usability Scale (SUS) survey administered to students yielded a score of 78.05, categorised as "acceptable" (good), indicating the application meets usability and effectiveness standards.
