Abstract

Implementation of the Bcrypt algorithm on a website-based hashing generator using the Laravel framework has been carried out in this study. The background of this research is based on the development of information technology which has affected many aspects of human life, where data and information are very important and need to be protected. Web-based information systems are vulnerable to security threats, such as wiretapping and intrusion by unauthorized parties. Therefore, the implementation of information security aims to overcome these problems and provide solutions both technically and non-technically. This research uses the Laravel framework, an open-source PHP framework that enables the development of web applications with modules that optimize PHP performance. Bcrypt and salt algorithms are used in the hashing process to protect user data. The results of the research show that using Laravel as the right framework for making hashing generators. The result of the hashing process produces a constant value of 60 characters, even if the input text is more than 60 characters with random text. The cost factor, which is a factor that regulates hashing power, affects the time required for the hashing process and hash verification. Using the Bcrypt generator tool is useful in cross-browser testing, especially in tests involving hashed passwords. With this tool, many valid bcrypt password hashes can be generated for testing. This research makes an important contribution in improving the security of web-based information systems by applying the Bcrypt algorithm to the hashing process. This implementation can provide better data protection for users and improve overall system performance.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi komputer telah memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan di berbagai sektor pekerjaan, termasuk dalam bidang pelayanan melalui internet. Salah satu kelompok yang merasakan manfaatnya adalah pecinta olahraga bulutangkis di Indonesia. Dengan popularitas olahraga ini yang tinggi di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia, banyak tempat olahraga bulutangkis telah bermunculan. Pemanfaatan teknologi internet dalam penyediaan layanan olahraga bulutangkis tidak hanya memudahkan akses masyarakat, tetapi juga membantu dalam mengurangi biaya yang harus dikeluarkan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yang jelas, yaitu merancang sebuah website untuk menyediakan layanan sarana olahraga, khususnya bagi pencinta bulutangkis. Pengembangan sistem dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development, sebuah pendekatan klasik dalam pengembangan sistem yang melibatkan tahapan yang terstruktur dan linear. Tahapan pertama dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data terkait dengan informasi pelatihan bulutangkis untuk berbagai kelompok usia, serta pemesanan lapangan bulutangkis. Perancangan website ini memiliki tujuan untuk menarik perhatian masyarakat dengan berbagai cara. Salah satunya adalah dengan mengadakan kompetisi atau kejuaraan bulutangkis. Dengan adanya sistem komputerisasi yang baru, diharapkan arus informasi dapat berjalan lebih cepat, sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat dan antusiasme masyarakat terhadap olahraga bulutangkis. Melalui inovasi ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi pengembangan olahraga bulutangkis di Indonesia

Abstract

Greenpeace, an organization dedicated to addressing environmental concerns, particularly the Climate Crisis, urges both the government and corporations to take responsibility for extensive land clearing for business purposes without implementing preventive measures. This lack of action poses potential negative consequences for Indonesia, especially in the economic sector. Despite ongoing issues arising from the Climate Crisis, there is still a dearth of government initiatives and community support. To address this, Greenpeace employs its website as an informational platform, providing details about areas impacted and the actions it takes to improve the Earth. In an effort to enhance the user experience in navigating Greenpeace's activities, the author and their team undertook a redesign of the website using Design Thinking as a method. Design Thinking, a problem-solving process centered on user interests and innovation, involves stages such as empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing. The author mapped out problems during the empathize stage based on user experiences, defined core user issues in the define stage, expressed solutions in the ideate stage, implemented web design in the prototype stage, and, in the testing stage, assessed the success of the design in resolving problems and meeting user needs. The research outcomes are presented in the form of a prototype with a UI/UX design, developed by aligning with user needs through the Design Thinking method to provide a solution for user challenges when interacting with the Greenpeace website.

Abstract

The payroll system is a series of business activities that aim to complete all payments for services that have been made by employees. Payroll is a process within an organization/agency that is prone to problems. Data processing that is still done manually can result in slow preparation of salary reports which results in delays in payment of salaries to employees plus if there is an error in calculating the salary it becomes inaccurate. In this study, the author tries to design a web-based payroll system at PT Suryamega Jaya Steel, which until now has not been computerized. This web-based system was written to simplify the payroll transaction process so that salary calculations are more accurate and employees can print payslips. The author designed a web-based payroll information system using the PHP programming language. The method used in designing the software for this payroll application is in the form of the waterfall method, data collection techniques, observation, and interviews. The design of this information system is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this company. A computerized system is better than a manual system because a computerized system can run more safely than the system used before.

Abstract

Pembentukan model (topologi) jaringan memegang peranan penting dalam sistem komputasi paralel. Kebutuhan akan jumlah prosesor yang banyak dalam topologi jaringan merupakan tantangan untuk mengembangkan berbagai metode perancangan topologi jaringan. Beberapa metode yang telah dikembangkan di- antaranya adalah metode perkalian Cartesian dua buah topologi jaringan. Beberapa topologi jaringan interkoneksi yang sudah ada antara lain: topologi jaringan interkoneksi Hyper-Butterfly, yang merupakan perkalian Cartesian antara topologi jaringan interkoneksi Hypercube dan Wrap Around Butterfly[1]. Hasil penelitian lain adalah topologi jaringan interkoneksi Torus Embedded Hypercube yang merupakan perkalian Cartesian antara topologi jaringan interkoneksi Torus dan Hypercube [2]. Topologi jaringan interkoneksi perkalian Cartesian lain adalah Topologi jaringan interkoneksi perkalian Cartesian antara Balanced Hypercube dan Varietal Hypercube [3]. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut ketiga topologi jaringan interkoneksi yang dirancang memiliki derajat yang berkembang bertambah besar sesuai dengan ukuran dari topologi jaringan interkoneksi Hypercube. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan hasil rancangan topologi jaringan interkoneksi dengan menggunakan perkalian Cartesian dua buah topologi jaringan interkoneksi yang mempunyai sifat derajat yang konstan, yaitu Torus dan Enhanced But terfly [4]. Dari hasil penelitian ini antara lain ditemukan bahwa pada topology jaringan Torus Butterly dapat ditanam array linier [5], tujuan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan metode sorting genap ganjil pada topology tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah perkalian Cartesius dua buah graf dan metode sorting genap-ganjil. Hasil yang didapat adalah hasil sorting 96 bilangan

Abstract

The West Jakarta One-Stop Integrated Service Unit (PTSP Jakarta Barat) is a West Jakarta government institution that serves the needs and interests of the community, particularly pharmacists who handle the Pharmacy Practice License (SIPA) service. However, to apply for a Pharmacy Practice License (SIPA), one must visit the West Jakarta PTSP office in person, and the current registration system still utilizes paper for pharmacist data entry. The development of the SIPA information system can assist pharmacists in applying for a Pharmacy Practice License without having to visit the West Jakarta PTSP office. The method used is object-oriented with structured web modeling, the database utilizes MYSQL, while the application is developed using PHP programming with the assistance of the Laravel framework. The result is a web-based application program that facilitates the process of pharmacist practice licensing services.

Abstract

After the Covid-19 pandemic ended, the lecture system at several universities in Indonesia began to gradually improve. The lecture system for several courses is carried out face-to-face. However, there are still several courses that are conducted online using e-learning applications with various considerations for the needs of the university. Bina Sarana Informatics University (UBSI) is a technology-based university where the learning system has implemented internet technology even long before the Covid-19 pandemic occurred. UBSI always strives to continue to improve the quality of the e-learning system that has been implemented. This can be seen from the development of e-learning applications for the lecture process which makes it easier for lecturers and students to access and absorb information related to campus academics. My Best is an e-learning application that is currently used in the KBM process in the UBSI environment and to improve the quality of the application used it is necessary to carry out a usability engineering evaluation. This analysis method consists of several stages, namely platform constraints, general design principles, conceptual model and screen design. The results of the usability analysis on the My Best e-learning application at Bina Sarana Informatika University have complete stage coverage, this means that My Best is an e-learning application in the very good category.

Abstract

Monitoring the water level at smart home system is an effort to increase the comfort and safety of its residents. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a water level monitoring application that can be implemented to smart home system using the ESP8266 NodeMCU, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, MQTT protocol, and the Flutter framework. By implementing Flutter as an open-source framework for creating applications, it can be monitor water levels in real-time accessed from various platforms: such as Android, iOS, Web, Windows, macOS, and Linux. The test expected to function correctly and provide accurate and real-time information regarding water levels in the surrounding area and can be accessed using various platforms. This research likely to be successful because previous studies conducted the same components in this study.

Abstract

Increasing efficiency and ease in the meeting room and event space reservationprocess is an important need for modern companies such as Marquee Executive Offices. Making a mobile application is an effective solution for managing the reservation process. Utilizing Laravel technology and the Flutter framework, this application is able to provide users with the convenience of making reservations quickly and accurately. At the development stage, the main problems faced were the complexity in integration between the backend and frontend platforms, as well as the need for a system that could handle many reservation requests simultaneously. The solution adopted involved a structured approach to development using Laravel for the backend and Flutter for the frontend, allowing the application to run smoothly and responsively. The main benefit of the application that hasbeen developed is increasing efficiency and productivity in the meeting room and event space reservation process. Users can easily view space availability, make reservations directly via mobile device, and receive instant reservation confirmation. This not only optimizes the use of space, but also improves the overall user experience, thereby strengthening the company's image as a sophisticated and efficient service provider.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus pandemic has made people anxious because of the availability of hospitals that accept Covid patients. Many hospitals restrict or even reject people because of the large number of cases that cause death. The difficulty of finding data on hospitals that accept Covid patients for treatment has made many people worried. This research was conducted based on information from public complaints in searching for information on existing data in hospitals that receive Covid-19 patients. The development of this information system was carried out using the classic method or SDLC Spiral which is commonly known as the waterfall method. The waterfall method uses a linear and sequential software development approach, where each development phase, such as planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance, is carried out sequentially and cannot be started until the previous phase is complete. The aim of this research is to build a hospital database design for Covid patients, to make it easier for Covid patients to find data on hospitals that accept Covid patients. The research results in the form of an information system in the form of a website application can be used by users, especially Covid patients. The research results can be measured by testing the function of the web-based application information system with the conclusion that the website can run well and access to each menu runs quite well. The web browser used for testing is Google Chrome but you can use the browser according to the device used. The success of the application based on the results of the survey that was carried out to get a point meter of 0-10 was 5 people choosing a value of 8 and the rest choosing a value above 5..
