Abstract

The rapid development of technology has caused people to look for a practical material, one of which is the manufacture of ready-to-use instant coconut milk. Currently, instant coconut milk is widely circulated on the market with various types. The purpose of this study is to find out which attributes are consumer preferences and considerations in the decision to buy instant coconut milk. The research method used was quota sampling (according to the criteria) with a sample of 24 respondents. The data analysis model used is Fishbein Multiattribute analysis. Based on the results of the study, instant coconut milk that is the preference of consumers is instant coconut milk with attributes that are the choice of consumers including the Sun Kara brand, liquid texture, 200 ml packaging, and a price of Rp6,000 - Rp12,000. In order of attributes from the most considered to the least considered attributes are brand, texture, ease of obtaining, place, packaging, and price.

Abstract

One of the oldest professions in the world, which has the ambivalence of being needed and criticized by society, is being a sex worker. Many local areas have been closed by the government, but prostitution still exists and continues to increase. The government does not specifically regulate the punishment of sex workers in Indonesia, this raises the question of how sex workers are viewed in Indonesian criminal law. The existence of loopholes in statutory regulations creates legal uncertainty. This has an impact on the implementation of the article by law enforcement officials which can lead to the criminalization of acts that are not criminal. This research uses a normative juridical method, namely research by looking for articles that regulate sex workers and analyzing the implementation of these articles in District Court Decisions. The conclusion from this research is that there are no regulations either in the Criminal Code or outside the Criminal Code that can be used to ensnare sex workers, those who can be charged are people who connect sex workers with users of sex workers, as well as people who facilitate prostitution. The next conclusion is that court decision Number 284/Pid.sus/2023/PN YKK is inappropriate in applying Article 296 of the Criminal Code to sex workers because the element of "making things easier" is not fulfilled.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan jabatan oleh Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN), Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI), dan Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) dalam konteks Pemilu 2024 menjadi isu krusial yang berpotensi merusak integritas demokrasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk penyalahgunaan jabatan yang mungkin terjadi, menganalisis dampaknya terhadap sistem demokrasi, serta mengusulkan langkah-langkah pencegahan yang efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis tematik, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data dari literatur hukum, laporan resmi, dan dokumentasi media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyalahgunaan jabatan dapat berupa intervensi dalam kampanye, penyalahgunaan sumber daya negara, dan intimidasi terhadap pemilih. Dampak dari tindakan ini mencakup penurunan kepercayaan publik terhadap proses pemilu dan pengurangan integritas sistem demokrasi. Untuk mencegah penyalahgunaan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan mekanisme pengawasan oleh lembaga terkait, penegakan regulasi yang lebih ketat mengenai netralitas ASN, TNI, dan Polri, serta peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya partisipasi dalam menjaga independensi pemilu. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kebijakan pemilu yang lebih adil dan demokratis di Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce has changed the modern retail sector dramatically over the past few decades. The recent evolution of the physical retail market, driven by a shift in consumer shopping behavior to online shopping, has caused more and more traditional stores to close. This research aims to determine the transformation and resilience of traditional markets amidst the existence of E-commerce. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with analytical techniques in the form of content analysis. The research results show that in facing the challenges of this transformation, traditional markets need to adapt by entering the digital realm. Despite being faced with obstacles such as lack of digital literacy, limited resources, and infrastructure constraints, efforts to overcome these obstacles reflect the resilience of traditional markets in facing change. The resilience of traditional markets is reflected in their ability to adapt to new technology, collaborate between business players and government, increase digital literacy, innovate to maintain competitiveness, manage privacy and data security risks, and develop resources through an inclusive financial approach. The government's role is very important in encouraging transformation and facilitating the resilience of traditional markets through support policies, training programs and infrastructure facilitation. In this way, traditional markets can continue to develop, remain an integral element in the economic ecosystem, while maintaining and preserving their cultural and social identity.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the types and factors that influence the speech acts of characters in the novel Home Sweet Loan by Almira Bastari. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data in research is in the form of words, sentences, paragraphs, or dialogue that are in accordance with the research objectives. The main data source is the novel Home Sweet Loan published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in February 2022. Data collection techniques were carried out using reading and note-taking techniques. The research results reveal that in the novel Home Sweet Loan there are three types of speech acts, namely locution, illocution, and perlocution. Locutionary speech acts are divided into statements, questions and commands. Illocutionary speech acts involve assertive, directive, commissive, and expressive. Perlocutionary speech acts include various forms such as denying, correcting, prohibiting, nodding, depressed, and regretful. Apart from that, the research results also show the factors that influence the speech acts of characters in the novel. These factors are the speaker, the purpose of the speech, the situation, the context, the path, the media, and the event. This research provides in-depth insight into the dynamics of speech acts in the context of the novel "Home Sweet Loan" and contributes to further understanding of the use of language and communication in literary works

Abstract

Currently, behind the glittering capital of Jakarta, there are still many problems of social inequality that occur. This social inequality is still felt by vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities who live in the Jakarta Capital City settlements. The fulfillment of basic needs is a program established by the government aimed at the welfare of people with disabilities. This article specifically describes the program to fulfill the basic needs of people with disabilities. The research obtained was then analyzed and interpreted to see the extent to which the basic needs program had an impact on people with disabilities. Under the current era of government policies, basic needs programs are still being implemented in accordance with the provisions of the laws that have been implemented. In addition, the government provides the program in the form of the Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (JPDC). With the Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (JPDC), it is hoped that people with disabilities can easily obtain this assistance. The assistance is disbursed through a Bank DKI ATM independently. For recipients who do not have legal skills, they can provide a power of attorney to a trusted person, and for recipients who are underage, they can be represented by a parent or guardian by bringing a family card and birth certificate. The current basic needs program is still being implemented to this day to continue to prosper people with disabilities. For reference to better explain how the program to fulfill basic needs is carried out properly.

Abstract

The development of business today is greatly influenced by information technology. The advancement of technology significantly affects consumer purchasing decisions. As we know, in the current era, many online sites offer online sales. It can be assured that online shopping is increasingly favored by consumers. Shopee is one of the most popular online shopping sites. Shopee offers many discounts at certain times, along with very attractive promotions that entice consumers to shop on Shopee. This study aims to determine the influence of discounts, promotions, and consumer trust on purchasing decisions when using the Shopee app. The research method used is an associative method with the goal of observing the influence or relationship between two or more variables in a study. The data analysis technique in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The sample for this study consists of 96 respondents, while the data collection uses questionnaires. The data processing in this study uses SPSS. The results of this study indicate that discounts have a significant partial effect on purchasing decisions, promotions have a partial effect on purchasing decisions, and consumer trust partially affects purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, discounts, promotions, and consumer trust simultaneously influence purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of celebrity endorsement, brand awareness and lifestyle on purchasing decisions on Scarlett Whitening beauty products in Banda Aceh. The determination of the research sample uses the Purba formula. The sample used in this study was 96 consumers of Scarlett Whitening beauty products in Banda Aceh and were willing to be respondents. The analysis method applied was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that Celebrity endorsement partially had a significant effect on purchasing decisions on Scarlett Whitening beauty products in Banda Aceh. Brand awareness partially had a significant effect on purchasing decisions on Scarlett Whitening beauty products in Banda Aceh. Lifestyle partially had a significant effect on purchasing decisions on Scarlett Whitening beauty products in Banda Aceh. Celebrity endorsement, brand awareness and lifestyle simultaneously had a significant effect on purchasing decisions on Scarlett Whitening beauty products in Banda Aceh.

Abstract

The focus of this paper is to explore the philosophical meaning and values behind the Tabar ceremony of the Ulungali community in Manggarai-Flores, NTT. The methodology employed in this paper is the phenomenological philosophical approach, where the author delves into philosophical matters related to local wisdom, particularly the Tabar ceremony, and connects it with the phenomenological philosophy of Heidegger. The approach used to explore the Tabar ceremony is qualitative, drawing from various literary sources and conducting interviews. The objectives of this paper are twofold. First, to gain a deeper understanding of the philosophical meaning behind the local wisdom of the Tabar ceremony in the Ulungali Manggarai community in relation to Heidegger's phenomenological philosophy. Second, to raise awareness among individuals to build a pattern of subject-subject relations or "being in the others" in establishing a harmonious relationship between humans and nature, and to encourage government stakeholders to implement sustainable development that prioritizes environmental preservation.

Abstract

Settlement of labor disputes in court requires the application of a clear and uniform concept of justice. For labor disputes to be resolved fairly, courts must ensure that procedures are carried out in a manner that upholds the rights of the parties to the dispute, is fair and non-discriminatory. The main causes of conflict between workers and management include different viewpoints between workers and employers, employment contracts, rights and responsibilities, and competing interests. Improving dispute resolution processes and ensuring fairness can increase the effectiveness of the employment law system. Writing about a phenomenon using data and presenting facts and data factually and accurately based on case analysis and related matters is known as writing quantitative analysis. This writing is also accompanied by a discussion of court cases which function to uphold the principles of justice at the Industrial Relations Court. The current legal system offers both litigation and non-litigation means for resolving disputes. These mechanisms include industrial relations courts using bipartite negotiations, mediation and arbitration in accordance with law number 2 of 2004. The main problem is the high time and costs involved in resolving labor disputes, even with a clear legal framework. Before starting negotiations, labor organizations must also fulfill several prerequisites. The state plays an important role in encouraging the peaceful resolution of conflicts and fostering a peaceful environment between employers and workers. The social peace of industrial society is significantly affected by injustice in labor relations, in addition to the individuals affected. If justice is not achieved at every stage of industrial relations, disharmony will continue. It is important to improve the quality of procedural law, dispute resolution systems, and legal awareness among all parties.
