Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the study is to describe the effectiveness the text of the observation report of the students at SMA Negeri 3 Padang Panjang.This research is qualitative research with descriptive method.The result in this research shows that the effectiveness of the text of the observation report of students can be said good, 74% of 312 sentences.Based on the results of research, it was concluded six things: (1) the student is still having an error in standard word, (2) still found an error regarding the completeness of the elements, (3) still found a sentence that is not solid, (4) still found errors in the firmness of the sentence, (5) still found waste of words, (6) still found errors about parallelism. Kata kunci: Keefektifan kalimat,  laporan hasil observasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the values of character education in the Pulang novel by Tere Liye. This research type is qualitative research with descriptive method. The approach used in this research is the objective approach.This research data is in the form of words, phrases, sentences, and discourses that display events and figures that indicate the values of character education contained in the novel Pulang by Tere Liye. Data collection techniques of this study, namely reading and understanding, inventorying, interpreting, classifying, and concluding data relating to character education values in Pulang novel by Tere Liye and guided by appreciative reading. Kata kunci: nilai pendidikan karakter, novel Pulang

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this study are three (1) to describe the types of authentic assessment used by Indonesian teachers, (2) to describe the compatibility between authentic assessment and theory in the Curriculum 2013, (3) constraints experienced by Indonesian teachers. This research type is qualitative research by using descriptive method. Data collection techniques were conducted by observation, interview, and documentation study. The results showed that teachers of  SMP Negeri 7, SMP Negeri 11 and SMP Negeri 25 Padang have used the type of authentic assessment in the Curriculum 2013. Assessment is done through three aspects, namely attitude aspect, knowledge aspect and skill aspect. Kata kunci: Implementasi penilaian otentik, jenis-jenis penilaian, mata pelajaran    bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to describe the following points. First, the text structure of fantasy story of class VII students of JHS 27 Padang. Second, the use of diction in the text of fantasy story of class VII students of JHS 27 Padang. Third, the use of sentences in the text of fantasy story of students of class VII JHS 27 Padang. This type of research was qualitative by using descriptive method. This research was conducted in Junior High School 27 Padang. This research data in the form of fantasy story texts obtained from the source of research data that is the document results of student tasks amount of 25 texts fantasy story. The instrument of this research ware the researcher herself. Data is analyzed by describing, analyzing, and discussing data based on theory. The results of this study are as follows. First, found three fantasy story text structure, that is orientation, complication, and resolution in writing of student of class VII of JHS 27 Padang. Secondly, there are two types of sentences that use direct sentences and indirect sentences in the text of fantasy tales written by the seventh graders of JHS 27 Padang. Based on the research results can be concluded two things. First, in writing texts fantasy story of the seventh grade students of JHS 27 Padang has used the three fantasy story text structure. The third structure of the fantasy story text, namely orientation, complications, and resolution. Kata kunci: struktur, diksi, kalimat, teks cerita fantasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe (1) implementation of the Indonesia-based language learning texts on SMP Negeri Padang Pariaman in the implementation of text-based learning through the four stages of learning, i.e. the stage of preparation of the context the modeling stage, stage, build the text together, and the stage of establishing the text independently, (2) constraints faced by teachers of language subjects in junior high Country Indonesia Padang Pariaman in the implementation of text-based learning. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. This research was conducted in the State JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Padang Pariaman i.e. SMP 1 228 1 lime, Rivers 2X11 Wood Planting, and SMP 1 2X11 Six Group. The data in this study is the result of data collection on the implementation of text-based language learning Indonesia conducted Indonesia language teacher in junior high Country Padang Pariaman are retrieved from the data source. Techniques employed i.e., observation and interview. Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to describe the effect of discovery learning method on the skill of writing short story text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. The data of this research is score of test resultof writing short story without using discovery learning method and using discovery learning method seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded the following three points. First, the skill of writing short story text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman without using discovery learning method is in qualification Enough (C). the skill of writing short story text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman using discovery learning method is in good qualification (B). Third, based on the results of t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at level siginificance 95% and degrees of freedom (dk) = n1 + n2 - 2 for tcount> ttable (5.69> 1.67). In other words, the skill of writing short story text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman using discovery learning method better than without using discovery learning method. Kata kunci: pengaruh, metode discovery learning, menulis teks cerita pendek

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to (1) describe the process of developing LKS with copy the master technique for learning to write valid exposition text, (2) practical  and (3) effective. The development mode used is 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, development . This development process produces products in the form of LKS with copy the master technique for expository, valid, and effective expository writing material.The results of this study indicate that the resulting LKS categorized as valid, effective and practical. It is seen based on the value of validity, practicality and effectiveness of LKS. The overall LKS validity score is 77.15%, the average of practicality by teachers is 85% and the student is 83.33%) and effective.Based on the calculation with Likert formula obtained 85.25% results so that the use of LKS model with copy the master technique on writing material exposition effectively. Kata kunci: pengembangan , LKS, menulis teks eksposisi, teknik copy the master, validitas, efektivitas, praktikalitas

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was to (1) describe the level of reading comprehension skills of the text description of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 27 Padang (2) to describe the skill level of writing the description text of the seventh grade students of SMP Negri 27 Padang; and (3) to describe the correlational of reading comprehension skills of the description text skill of writing text description of student of class VII of SMP Negeri 27 Padang. Theories used in this research are skill, reading comprehension of description text, writing skill of description, correlation skill reading comprehension text description to skill of writing text description of student class VII SMP Negeri 27 Padang.This research type is quantitative research by using descriptive method. An escriptive method with correlation approach. The population in this study is the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 27 Padang registered in the academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 210 students. The sample of this study amounted to 40 students. The sampling of this research was done by propotional random sampling technique. The data of this research is score of skill reading comprehension result in the form of objective test and score of skill writing skill in the form of performance test of class VII student of SMP Negeri 27 Padang.Based on the research result. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is  (1) describe the characteristics of the structure that appears in the short story text of  the students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh, (2) describe the characteristics of the flow in the short story text of the students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. The data in this research are 33 short story text. The data source of this study is an internal official document in the form of a collection of short texts of class XI MIPA 1 of SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh collected and archived by Indonesian teachers in semester one of the 2017/2018 academic year. Data were collected using documentation study. The research findings are short stories by students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh in general, built four structures, namely orientation, complications, evaluation, and resolution. Of the 33 text stories studied, only nine short stories that use abstract, while the koda is not used at all. The plot used in the short story text of students of grade XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh in general is a forward flow. Of 33 short stories written by students, 29 short stories use advanced grooves, 2 short stories using backward flow, and 2 short stories using mixed grooves. Kata kunci: struktur, teks cerpen, alur, karakteristik
